Arm candy

Wanted to start posting some of my favorite accessories and decided to do the posts about one specific accessory at a time. Tonight I am posting some photos of some of my favorite bracelets. I couldn't post all of my stuff because you would probably just get bored, but some of my favorites right now are featured below.

I love to wear bracelets with watches, and combine bangles with delicate threaded bracelets and pearls. I like a little of everything. Most of my watches are silver, white gold or titanium. I love silver finishes but recently got into rose gold and even a little yellow gold.

I love crosses, hamsas, infinity and eternity symbols, hearts, eyes, saints all kinds of different types of cute charms and designs. I have a pandora bracelet my hubby started a few years ago and I also have two Brighton charm bracelets I had before Pandora got huge. I love leather wrap bracelets, my favorite are my Tory Burch, but also have some no name brand ones I love too.

I love delicate bracelets that almost look like hair bands with charms, I have some from Juicy and some I got off EBay:). Bangles of course and tennis bracelets with sparkling diamonds or cz's always look nice. I have silver beads and pearl bracelets I enjoy wearing with color beads. I really have no explanation to my bracelets and arm candy style. Sometimes I just throw on a watch and my pandora bracelet other times I mix and match coordinating bracelets to my outfits or my handbag. It all depends on my mood. I try not to do to many because I get annoyed if they make noise or pull on the hair on my arms lol.

What is your favorite arm candy? I love watches, I have to say my favorite is my Movado which I bought myself. I also love large face boyfriend style watches like my Michael Kors and no name brands as well. I have two watches on my wish list now so maybe soon I will have a new addition:). I love the MK bracelet link watches in rose gold and tortoise it is gorgeous. Love it.

They come from all over, most designer ones are from Macy's, nordstroms, or the designers store, I shop off EBay, at Kohl's, forever 21, target and Walmart, charming Charlie's, Jared's, and sometimes even drug stores. I have been in line at Walgreens and grabbed a super cute bracelet before, you never know where you will find something that catches your eye that you have to get:). I get asked a lot where the large rhinestone cross on the silver leather band came from, that one my mom got me at TJ Maxx one day. I also make bracelets, I made three of my shamballa bracelets, I was making "Basketball wives" inspired large hoop earrings which had the rhinestone beads they use on the shamballa design bracelets so I started making the bracelets to save me money. I wa selling the earrings, bracelets and necklaces online was making in team color for moms so they could show support to their daughter or son's sports teams they were popular for awhile. I enjoy making things, whether for my house or jewelry, cakes, jut being crafty and creative is a great time:).

Vox Box from Influenster

Super excited I got selected for a vox box from Influenster and did a survey to try a BB cream for summer, got a email I had been chosen to receive the something blue box for wedding guests, bridesmaids and brides. Super excited since I will be going to a wedding a couple weeks:). Can't wait to see what is in side this box. This will be my first Vox box and I can't wait to review the items I receive. Yay:). Anyone else ever receive a box from Influenster? Let me know what you got.

Accessories are key to ever outfit or ensemble. Even being a interior decorator and event/party planner, my passions, accessories are still key. Whether it is accent furniture, a rug, decorative accent or nick knacks, or at parties it could be flowers, invites, candy table, or decor. With fashion i consider accessories to be anything from handbags, purses, hair accessories, jewelry and shoes, but not limited to this could be endless and so are the possibilities. I love to coordinate my accessories but try not to be too matching. I like to wear same designers but doesn't have to be all the same. When I carry a handbag or purse I tend to like my wallet to be same designer but I will nix an match colors. I am guilty of being a designer marcher I will wear Tory burch shoes, purse, jewelry and even a sweater/cardigan but I will match designers too wearing mixed jewelry, but matching shoes and purse or however I feel that day.

I tend to not mix metals often I try to match silver hardware on shoes or purse with my jewelry and even hair clips lol. It's weird how we can be so OCD about certain things. I know when I decorate my house or even other houses for clients I like to mix up pieces, I don't like a matching bedroom set, I feel it is too safe and that it doesn't give the room character. But with fashion I get a little OCD from time to time but will get adventurous too. I love color, mixing textures, occasionally mixing metals, love shoes and like I said above, and this post is about I love accessories.

Sometimes picking out my jewelry, glasses, purse, shoes and hair clips or bands is my favorite part. I am going to share some photos of some of my own personal collection of purses, wallets, necklaces, earrings, watches, bracelets, shoes and more in the upcoming days. Trying to decide if I should go by designer or brand, accessory type, like necklace, purse etc. I will decide and let you know:). I would love to see some of your accessory must haves or can't live withouts. Also hear how you prefer to mix and match your shoes, bags and metals. General Hospital, He's back, Franco.

Wow even though I had my suspicions I can't believe that Franco is back and that is who the old Todd Manning, actor Roger Howarth is portraying on general hospital now. I had a feeling with the video tapes but thought maybe they were going to say it was the real Franco and that the other one wasn't really him, then when they all recognized him it threw me off but now I see he is trying to justify what he did or should I say didn't do. He was a good person at manipulating people and playing mind games, looks like that was what he was doing all along was torturing Jason to get and keep his attention. If only he would have jut told Jason who he was from the start maybe then things would have been different.

I will say I am happy that he never raped Sam, I had a feeling he didn't but they never did close that chapter. Now I'm curious to find out what he has to say about Michael being rapped in prison, I'm sure it didn't have anything to do with him either it will probably be someone who was out to get back at Sonny and Jason that Franco set up to make it look like it was him.

Then I'm curious if he will get to meet his daughter Kiki now, then what will end up becoming of the Tracy and AJ saga, with ELQ. Today we saw Ava tell Kiki about her birth right but as we all saw Kiki didn't just sign over, I'm sure if she is anything like her parents she will come up with her own sick idea to gain control of ELQ along with her father, I can't wait to see how that plays out down the road.

I am happy in a sense it is Franco, interested to see how the rest of the week plays out. What else this Franco has to admit to, or not and clear up finally. Also what does he know about Jason, is he alive? If you watch the new soap he went to Y&R then you know he may be leaving, he has a story line that could lead to that so could this be something that they planned all along? I have never been able to figure out why Steve Burton left GH and lied about moving to spend more time with his family in TN, only to turn around and be cast on another soap as a new character? A lot of people were upset, I was just puzzled. Specially since the entire baby drama had just been worked out on GH between him and Sam with baby Danny. If only Jason lived long enough to know the baby was his, but will he find out? Does Franco know something about what happened to Jason? Was he taken by Helena when he washed up in spoon island, or does Jerry Jacks have him like Robin? Still so many unanswered questions but at least we are finding out more details then we were a few weeks ago when all felt idle and boring.

I know a lot of people don't care for the new story line, OLTL actors playing these new characters, and so on, but think they were planning this stuff got awhile and the OLTL stars just made it happen sooner cause they didn't have to cast new actors to play each role which could have dragged it out and so forth. Let it play out and remember we all have been watching for a long time, thru horrible story lines way worse then now, eventually it all works out how everyone at some point wanted. Couples make up, breakup, switch up, and reunite etc, but at some point almost every scenario happens and everyone is content at some pout but if we all got what we wanted would we keep watching? Probably not because we would end up losing interest eventually. They have to keep us wondering, wanting more and keep us intrigued. So far they have done just that.

Kudos to the writers, I may have not been thrilled at first but it kept me waiting for the next episode since last week, which was a good recovery after awful relish story line. Lol. What did other fans think, I would love to hear what you think about this and what you thought was going to happen or is going to happen. :).

Boxy charm, new monthly subscription box

There is a new subscription box out called boxy charm, looks a lot like glossy box which I didn't like and same price $21 a month but they promise you will receive 4-5 full size products a month instead of samples. I already receive Julep, which I am canceling after this months box just cashed in my Jules I had on my account, Birchbox which I love and it's only $10 a month, then I get my daughter Ipsy and she loves her Ipsy bag every month. I think I am going to take a hit at this boxy charm since I am canceling my Julep so I can review it. I peaked at the may box from instagram and saw a lot of drugstore quality items versus higher end products but my curiosity is peeked.

A lot of people are saying it is owned by the same people who run glossy box but I looked around and think maybe it's just similar packaging, nothing really online points to it being run by the same people. I will let you know if I see anything else. I ordered one glossy box awhile back and wasn't impressed also tried a few others and after a month canceled. From looking on instagram I saw they are giving away a few boxes for June if you have an instagram account you can enter, then I saw previews of may box looked like some makeup brushes, nail polish, sally Hansen polish stick ons and a couple other items like eyeshadow and maybe a liner, and a lipstick, posting a photo below of a peak. Interested to see what they have to come in the future. I'm cautious about ordering from a brand spanking new company till I see a few previews of what other people get first.

Hermes inspired bracelet

For awhile I have loved the Hermes h bracelet and belts. Never have money to spend on something so lavish but thanks to inspired by sellers on EBay I found this bracelet and a belt. The bracelet came today and I love it. It's a bangle with black enamel then has a h in gold and it's a hinged bracelet, the h slides open then the bangle opens to fit wrist. For what I paid it is a great bracelet, I'm not one for inspired by jewelry but when it is something out of my range that I love it is nice to find inspired by items I can afford to keep trendy look without breaking the bank. I have seen them for much more money online but this one was a steal. Message me for more details or check out eBay I love eBay:). Beware dealing with over seas sellers I have bad experiences before.

General Hospital rumor mill.

I have been posting more about General Hospital lately because I find myself always looking for spoilers, rumors or anything that is new about upcoming story lines. I recently have been trying to figure out who Roger Howarth, Todd Manning is going to end up being, Franco, Jerry Jacks or a new character. I also have some other story and character lines I been working on trying to figure out.

Let's talk about Brit or Dr. Westbourn who is now super pregnant by Dr. Patrick Drake. I went back to before the nurses ball and no she was not showing like she was when she announced it, I was like wow how did I not notice this, I remember her on crutches because Maxie's dad had threatened her but she had kind of disappeared from the show till they wrote in her mom and dad being that crazy Dr Obrecht from Switzerland that was holding Robin Scorpio-Drake for the ever crazy Faison. What a crazy mix that was and usually I see all that stuff coming into action before it actually does but I didn't even see that storyline. Or her being pregnant, we all know that isn't and can't be Patrick's baby. I have my ideas, I think it's Dante and Lulu's baby, that the lab tech she promoted that was doctoring her paperwork and took Ellie's position helped her implant that baby. I think Ellie is going to find out this info which will eventually lead to Maxie unveiling she is pregnant with her own baby and then tell everyone about Dr. Westbourne stealing Dante and Lulu's baby.

Not to jump from one to another but also I am going back to the Franco storyline, if this guy ends up being the real Franco then is it possible that Kiki is not a Quartermaine and was actually the baby of the fake Franco? Also I have read that Ava Jerome is going to be part of the mob family that Sonny has referenced, the Jerome family. I also have seen rumors that Sam Morgan is going to end up being the daughter of one of the Jerome's. Alexis never did tell anyone who her real father is and I have heard that Danny is going to get sick, that this Sylis, not sure spelling the new guy who was the vampire crazy guys brother and Raffe's uncle is going to be a doctor who helps Sam when Danny gets sick. I know it is all hard to follow these soap opera writers are something else. I have always loved writing and I really think I could have written some amazing stories lol.

Lulu is starting to remember what happened to her on the Haunted Star and I truly believe that this is going to push her away from Dante. Is she going to end up pregnant? Then will she end up with Milo? Back when Dante and Lulu were getting married I remember she was hesitant is it possible she never truly loved Dante and did a lot of the things she did because she longed for a stable family that she didn't have growing up? Could her true personality and what she really wants come out now? I am so baffled and can't wait to see what happens today.

What do you think? Who is this guy on the Haunted Star? When will Jason come back? What about Robin who is alive and off with Jerry Jacks? So many things are left unanswered and then I have a feeling some huge story lines are getting ready to be put into play. I honestly did not like the fact the OLTL actors all came back but as new characters but I feel that the writers took the opportunity to bring into play some story lines they had been wanting to portray but didn't know how to get them started. I am intrigued and actually watching closer then I did when the nurses ball and the anniversary season was airing. I was played out on Elizabeth's character an the Sabrina/Patrick story, Anna and Duke all that was starting to get old to me. Now I feel there is some new stuff to explore and interested to see where it goes.

Stay tuned I will be writing more once today's episode airs for sure:). I am sick and it is raining here so can't work on my home DIY projects I had planned but General Hospital has me entertained and puzzled. How about you?

Bath and Body works Home Fragrances

Awhile back ago I wrote a review about the Body Shop, home fragrance oils and how much I loved their fragranced oil for the soap warmers.  I went months not being able to get a hold of this item, and the other fragrances I didn't like as much were also sold out, from Nov to now still couldn't find.  After the holidays of trying several different brands I have found my replacement.  Bath and Body works has amazing candles, fragrance bulbs for the plug in warmers, oils, sprays and car pod scents I love.  I also love their sales, customer service, had a fragrance warmer that I got a few months ago and it wasn't warming they took it back no receipt or questions asked, then I got an oil on a whim and didn't care for it they let me exchange it no questions asked.  They are all about customer satisfaction and service.

General Hospital Episode Tuesday May 28

Posting about GH again, watched today's episode and feel like the characters on the show, who is this guy that Todd Manning actor is playing?  I hate how they drag it out, then how it ended and the preview to the next episode is killing me.  It seems that everyone knows who he is?  Is it Franco, it wouldn't be the real Franco, meaning that the one we knew was a fake, because they wouldn't all recognize him.  This isn't some new character that no one knows of because again, they would not all be like OMG you, like they know him.  Is it Jerry Jacks?  I had not even thought of him, but he was a sick psycho, he knew who loved and cared about Jason the most, he knew AJ was alive, maybe he is the one?  Maybe he knows something about Jason and him being alive.  I swear the way they had all the TV's and the set up I really was starting to lean towards Franco, but I really don't think that is who it is going to be.

I have been racking my brain and I can't seem to figure it out, I had originally believed the entire "real" Franco and the one we all knew was a fake.  But then I also was open to a new Quartermaine, or possibly a Cassadine we didn't know about, or maybe another Heather Webber relative.   Now I really have ruled that out because everyone at the Haunted Star knew this guy once they saw him.  It can't be Todd Manning because they can't use his character now, and that would defeat the purpose of having the old Star, playing Kiki and John McBain playing this knew guy.  Anyone have any ideas or rumors that they have heard??  I would love to hear what other General Hospital fans think?  Let me know=).

I will have some photos of new finds, new EBay items, ideas for my new shop, thinking of going to Etsy or Storenvy instead of Ebay to offer fashion finds, deals etc.  Also have some reviews coming, Julep review for new box, pictures of my finished Master Bedroom and some work I have done on my front and back patios.  I entered a couple contests hoping to win a gift card to finish my work on patios since I have a tight budget now that we are going out of town.  I went to the eye doctor today and thought for sure I needed glasses, but was told I have 20/20 vision which is great news, I was not ready for glasses yet, lol.  I did get my daughter a super cute new pair, since she has misplaced her glasses and can not find them anywhere.  I am hoping they will pop up, we lost them last year over the summer for almost two months then when I was cleaning I happened to push over the sofa to vacuum underneath and found them=).  Hoping to have that happen again.

Time for some color on my blog

Playing around with my background and banners, trying to find something bright, fun and colorful like how I have been feeling lately.  Color makes me smile and I wanted to add that to my blog.  Going to have to play around this week and tweak it because it is a little overwhelming for me lol.  If anyone knows any good sites for free blog layouts, banners or templates let me know=).  Hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day long holiday weekend, bbq time tomorrow and been chilling all weekend with a good friend who is here visiting, enjoying life=).

General Hospital, who is Roger Howarth going to be?

For those of you who are General Hospital fans, I have been racking my brain all week since they started bringing back the old OLTL characters as new parts/roles. I have posted in the past on GH fashion but now I want to write a little something about the story line and characters.

I predicted so many things in the past and I am usually good on figuring out what they are doing with their storyline but I did not see this coming. I knew the OLTL stars were fighting over the names of the characters, since Hulu revived the show. I also had read that the actors would return but as new characters.

I was excited to see what actress they would cast to play Lauren Frank, Franco's long lost daughter and the q heir. When I saw that the actress who played Starr Manning was playing her I was so mad! Almost as mad when I realized they were going to switch Sam's baby awhile back. I get so frustrated. Then the return of the actor who played John and Caleb as a brother to the crazy vampire guy? Seriously? It is even stranger that Sam doesn't think he could be John or even weirder Michael meets Morgan's new girlfriend and doesn't even think she resembles his ex Starr?

I don't know what to think. The only character that has me intrigued is Roger Howarth the ex Todd Manning. I have been racking my brain, I have read so many blogs and spoilers about this lol, people all say he is Franco, u have read Jason, which I don't believe for a second, a possible Cassadine, but not liking that. Then they thru me off when he met with Heather. I considered maybe a child of Heather's which could be another Q heir since she had been with several Quartermaine's over the years, and she did seem to know something when she read the will. I don't think Franco's daughter was the loop in the will she was referring to. But if he was her son I think she would have reacted different considering how obsessed with Steven Lars she was. Lol.

So who else could he be? Maybe he is the "real" Franco? Maybe the guy who played Franco, James Franco was just a crazy fan, since Franco was a psyxjo twisted artist, I am sure he had some crazy fans. Then maybe that would be why he wants to make things right with Sam. Or maybe he is just going to reprise the original role of Franco and show video that he never rapped Sam, which I didn't think he did anyways, since they didn't show that much. I think he just wanted Sam and Jason to think that. But still even if he didn't rape Sam that wouldn't make everyone forgive him. Which takes me back to maybe the Franco we all knew was a fake and RH is going to be the real Franco. Maybe he was getting help in a psych ward and this other guy was pretending to be him.

I have also read maybe there was a triplet? Meaning Jason and Franco had a brother, but why would he want to make things right between him and Sam. I feel like this new character wants to justify everything and prove it wasn't him or his doing. Almost clear his name. I hate how long they are dragging out the story lol.

Now to explore other options, another Quartermaine? A Cassadine? I even read somewhere Sam's dad, which I don't think so, I would love for them to explore that story. I don't know why they haven't ever gone down that road. Sam has no family really other then Alexis and her half sisters, I would think when she found out Alexis was her mom she would have wanted to know who her dad was, or when she was pregnant? Strange.

What do you think? I have been a huge fan of General Hospital since I can remember, my grandma and mom both watched it every day which meant I also had to watch. Over the years I have gone thru phases where I lost interest for awhile, but always returned not long after lol. Since they changed writers, brought OLTL characters and Jason left I have been on the fence.

At first the OLTL characters annoyed me. Mostly when they switched Sam's baby, started the vampire story and then Starr losing her family, but after awhile it grew on me and I got use to it. Then they announced Jason would be leaving, which was awful, they just found out that Danny was his baby and Sam and Jason were both happy. I swear they can't let anyone be happy for a week lol.

I still haven't adjusted to this new Lulu I like the actress who played her before. Then where is this story going? I have heard she will remember a wedding on the Haunted Star followed by the wedding night, after realizing she had sex with Stavros then I have heard rumors she may be pregnant? Now I know we all know the story she can't get pregnant, hence Maxie carrying a baby for her, but have read that Helena had Dr. Westbourne make that up so they could eventually carry out this latest craziness in the Cassadine story lol. That would be insane. Her child would be half brother of her own half brother lol. Sick but wouldn't surprise me.

I wish Maxie would just admit to Spinelli that the baby she is carrying is his. Spinelli is suppose to be some genius, computer wiz, private investigator but wow, how dumb is this guy. The fact he couldn't put two and two together to figure this out, kills me. It's funny since this actor first appeared on GH my husband has given me slack about this actor lol. I don't care for him but he has grown on me over the years, but every time my husband walks by and sees a part with Spinelli he laughs, saying wow this is ridiculous is this character for real lol.

So, what do you other fans think? Who is the old Todd going to be now? Franco? Another Quartermaine? I can't stand the suspense. So creepy how he sent a photo of Jason then is having this party. I read that Sam's life is going to chance drastically by the unveiling of who this is and what he has to say, which is why I think it has to be the "real" Franco. Then that would mean this new Franco the real Franco wouldn't have rapped her or done any of the crazy stuff he did to her and Jason. He would be Jason's real twin and family to her son Danny. Then what will happen with his daughter Lauren. I can't wait to find out lol.

Have a great holiday weekend

Purple and magenta hair

Colored my hair Thursday went a little lighter blonde on top and kept the dark purple underneath with ombré shades of dark, medium to light purple then added magenta. Love it. More photos to come enjoy:). Love dying my hair fun colors, color makes me smile:).

Summer family vacation

It is almost that time, summer! I love summer time because I have both my girls home and we always plan amazing trips to make more amazing memories. Last year we did Disney and Tennessee, this year we are doing The Keys in south Florida and North Carolina.

I love the mountains, was born in NH and lived in Maine when I was younger, my heart is in the mountains. I dream of moving there but have to wait because my husbands job is ok and he loves it, so till he decides it's time to move on in his career Florida will be our home. We have rented a cabin for a week again, best way to experience the Smoky Mountains, we did the same thing last summer but in TN. We leave Friday June 21 and will be gone a total of ten days. Taking our time driving up stopping in GA to visit a friend and Not sure where on the way back but somewhere we can have some fun family time.

The cabin is gorgeous and will post photos soon. When we went to TN we stayed in Pigeon Forge area this time it is Bryson City right in the heart of the mountains and country living. Can't wait. Can't stop dreaming and looking at photos from our last trip along with photos of the cabin. Planning what to do and where to visit:). Also I get to see a friend I met in kindergarten who lives there, love to see my old friends warms my heart.

Below are a few photos and more to come of cabin then actual trip. We are doing family photos while we are there which I am excited to do:). We have some on the beach and at a park but in the mountains is going to be amazing, can't wait. Have a great weekend. I got to spend time with one of my best girlfriends who moved to KY a few years ago and tomorrow plan to spend the day with her before she goes. Love to see her but breaks my heart when she leaves. Good true friends are hard to find and three of my best girl friends live out of state, I am lucky because we see each other once a year sometimes more but miss having them here all the time. Happy Memorial day weekend and countdown to vacation has begun.

Lydia McLaughlin Real Housewife's brown glitter LV speedy purse

I was watching the first look, sneak peek at next weeks Real Housewives of OC episode and saw Lydia's amazing brown glitter LV speedy bag.  I have seen her with this a few times but inspired me to write about it this evening.  I am not a huge glitter or sequin fan but this is an eye catcher and what girl can say they don't ever dream of owning a LV.

I went searching for some similar items since LV is not in most people's league and found a couple.  I am sure there are more out there at stores like Forever 21 or even TJ Maxx they have great inexpensive purses all the time.  There is also the option to get an "inspired by" bag, I am not one for knock offs I have gotten a couple from friends, but never gone out of my way to purchase one.  I have never ordered on of the internet but I did how ever find a great one, but would not endorse or say it was a good idea, especially from over seas.   I figured I would post it though for those who do like inspired by handbags.  I also have one similar to post too.  Below is a photo I found off google images of Lydia with her husband and a excellent shot of the purse, then LV purse from their website and the other two bags from their sites.  Enjoy

Lydia has become one that I enjoy watching on the new season of the Real Housewives, she has a great personality and I love her mom lol.  I also love her easy going fashion.  A lot of the items she wears reminds me of my own personal style.  A few episodes ago she wore a gray top with leather sleeves, which I actually bought a similar top at Marshall's for my daughter recently for $12.99.  Below are some photos of her in the top from google images, and then I tried to find the exact top.  I am not for sure which one she was wearing, but I also found one from Forever 21 that looks a lot like it.  I will include links to all items, so you can find them easier if you want to get one for yourself.

Another item from that episode that caught my eye is the Stella McCartney Falabella chain trimmed purse.  You have seen this carried by many celebrities including other housewives, like Brandi, and Kyle from Beverly Hills.  I have a similar bag by Michael Kors called the Chelsea in black python that I love.  Below is the Stella bag, and then two similar.  One is from JustFab.com called the Daredevil bag and it is available for $39.95 if you are a member, they have pink, tan and animal print.
