Privacy wall DIY

 For months we have been planning to build a diy privacy wall on the covered side of our patio and then we hope to do the same on the pergola side. Wanted to share some of the photos during and after then some photos of the pergola by Pergola Depot with our Edison string lights from Lamp Lust. 

We used two sold posts used for fences and framing the quick set concrete. Once that was all dried and set I laid out the pattern, using 1x2, 1x4 and 1x8 weather treated pine wood from Home Depot.

 Wanted to share again my link to my LIKEtoKNOW.it app so it’s easier if you follow me here and not just over on Instagram you can shop my fave sales, styles decor and so much more. Right now they are having their annual spring sale and have all my faves from stores or brands like Madewell, Abercrombie and Tarte cosmetics. I’m always trying to link the best deals, styles and make sure I can find some affordable options as well. These sales are great to stock up like the Madewell $25 off $125 sale and Abercrombie sales are the perfect time to get a designer or higher end look for less. I love Madewell denim their jeans and shorts are truly made well to last, then they fit so good making all body types look great. A little more expensive but if you have 2-3 pairs of different tones or washes in Jean shorts then a few linen or light weight shorts to mix and match with fun tops it’s perfect. Many do these seasonal wardrobe capsules but I am a variety person I love my old styles from prior years that fit me good and have stood the rest of time mixed in with new pieces, vintage faves and then classics. But if the capsule wardrobe works for you this sale is a great time to stock up on a few new pieces for spring or summer. 

I also love the Madewell bags, belts and shoes, their leather is so soft with a vintage feel. Abercrombie isn’t always my go to but they have a lot of cute swim options from suits to coverups, shorts if you want something a little less expensive then Madewell but higher up from some other retailers. Their mid to maxi twist front dress I just love have the white I got for an event then ordered the black. Fitted and makes you feel sexy without being too revealing this is a piece I can see being worn on vacation; cruises and for summer fun. I also love their cute tops. 

Hope this helps and don’t forget if you are like me I love Tarte cosmetics and Too Faced they always have some great sales so I stock up on the items I do use, I’m not a huge makeup girl I have always been a natural type but I do love some of their items I use when going to an event or for days I just want to wear a little something something to feel more dressy and less casual.
