OPI Man with the Golden Gun 18k

I got my hands on a bottle of the OPI Man with the Golden Gun 18K gold top coat. This is from the Skyfall collection and is limited edition. I have seen it being sold for $38-50 online. I purchased this bottle at A-Daz-L last bottle they had for $29.99 plus my discount along with a gorgeous purple with a blue tiny color called Tomorrow Never Dies.

What a gorgeous top coat! I have Essie luxe effects gold flake polish but it's more of a lighter shade, this looks like the gold leaf you buy at craft stores. I am excited to pair it up with some garnet or burgundy next weekend for the FSU game.

Quickly in other news I got my Birchbox Goop collaboration box and was not pleased. Regret not staying with my regular box, but looking forward to my mystery trick or treat box from Julep which should be here this week.

I also have loads of photos to upload of my inside an outside decor for Halloween/Fall and have sold a lot of wreaths:). Thank you to everyone who has been purchasing. I have some cute new designs this week I will be posting and added some Christmas stuff to my etsy shop.

I finally ordered my chandelier for living room and closet will post some more on that this week with photos of the expensive name brand stores photos and the one I got for 280 less on overstock look identical. Tomorrow I will be painting my antique French provincial dresser cause my hubby won a 32" flat screen for our video cameras we are going to mount in our bedroom going to be weird with two huge TVs in our room, already have a 42" above our dresser lol. Now back to nail talk...

I painted a coat of Butter London nail foundation for my base coat, this has become my favorite base coat for darker colors. Then I applied two thin coats of OPI Tomorrow Never Dies, which looks blue in the photos but is actually a deep purple with a hint of dark blue undertone. Tried different lighting to get true color but going to need to take in daylight tomorrow am. Once that dried I applied one layer of the gold topcoat and took photos, then did a second coat. I think three would be good but was afraid it would be too much. It isn't rough like some flakey top coats. Lastly I applied one of my two favorite top coats Posche, and let dry. I also love Out The Door so I alternate between the two, I'm not a fan of Seche like a lot of people are. It makes my nails looked scratched cause it is so thick and it shrinks down after drying so my tips always look worn. I liked the shine it gave but Posche and Out the Door both do the same an dry fast so I recommend them both. Everyone is different though:). Use what works best for you. Sally Hansen also has some amazing top coat and base coats that I also use when budget is tight.

This 18K top coat has won me and I love the Tomorrow Never Dies, purple is a favorite of mine and this is a gorgeous color. Went on smooth and dried nice. Love OPI. Lately I have been wearing a lot of Zoya and it seems to chip fast and tips wear quick. OPI is definitely one of my favorite brands. China Glaze is okay and I love Essie depending on the shade. Some have that same watery texture that China Glaze has that I don't care for. I also love Butter London, Illamsqua, Dior, Chanel and Sally Hansen polish.

I have such a HUGE collection now I have fun picking colors and have been enjoying pink Wednesday. Have my colors and design picked for this week already. Hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend. I have had a great week and today was a great day with my hubby and mom. We took my mom out to the casino and ran into some family friends from out of town. Next weekend is the FSU vs UM game, looking forward to tailgating and seeing FSU hopefully kick UM's butt:) was already great to see the NY Jets kick the Miami Dolphins butt wish we would have gone but my hubby Hayes both teams lol. I usually go to that game with a good friend of mine but was to hard to coordinate this year next time we will go though:).

Enjoy the rest of the weekend and I will have lots of decor pics and some shopping finds from Kirklands and Home goods. I also am looking for new bedding which is crazy I got some bedding a year ago don Dillard's by Ralph Lauren but now I want a lighter and more hotel look. My room is silver and have a faux finish wall I did myself with the gray/silver, white and a blue. Great Bombay silver embossed with mirror night stands and my French provincial antique dressers I have painted white with silver knobs. Got some great mirrored with silver frames and some nice mirrors from Kirklands. But again of topic lol that is another post lol. Have a great night and if you love nail polish like me get this Man with the Golden Gun 18K top coat while you can, if you are local check out A-Daz-L beauty supply in Pembroke Pines they are all so helpful and nice. If they don't have something if they can they will special order ot for you or get from another location. Love them:) nite all

  2. Yea it is steep I get a discount so it was a little less but I had to try it, I have never spent that much either, some place it is over $35 up to $50 and it is limited edition so prices will go up even more. I have other polishes that mimic the look but don't look as nice, the real gold is awesome. I think I may giveaway a bottle if I can get my hands on one more=).
