My mask obsession is by Beauty Stones, I tried out and then posted here several times on their Green tea facial mask for acne prone skin, my teen daughter has had issues with break outs for a few years being a teen and having hormonal changes as well as being a makeup lover, she has been using this mask for over a month now twice a week and has seen amazing results.  These masks are mess free and easy to apply, you simply place the mask on your face and then let sit, I have to adjust the eye holes cause they are small but it depends on the person.  After letting it sit for 20-30 minutes we then massage the remaining product after removing the mask into the skin.  My daughter and I both have sensitive skin, and usually any products for acne cause redness, irritation and drying but this product is opposite.  Neither my daughter nor myself had any additional or abnormal break outs like you will have sometimes when starting a new product.  My daughter noticed right away a change in her skin, her red scars or marks from past acne began to lighten in the first week, her skin was noticeably softer, smoother and after two weeks she has noticed less breakouts and even during that time of the month which is when she would get the most irritation or acne flare ups.  She has now only been using the mask and discontinued her prior acne treatment products, she uses a daily facial wash for acne by Neutrogena and then her morning moisturizer with the use of the mask 2-3 times a week.  The honey mask below is a new product I just received but will be using this month and will have a review on the Honey mask coming soon,  I want to try it for at least 2-3 times or even maybe for 2 weeks so I can give you a good idea of the results.  I highly recommend to Green Tea mask for acne prone skin or if you had acne, wanting to reduce redness or old scars, prevent break outs, even skin tone and moisturize.

Tuesday Outfit of the day post

Quick post today with my ootd and some more photos of my purple and silver hair.  Today I have been sick so just used a skull print bandana to pull my hair back then applied some simple quick makeup to brighten my skin some.  Caught a cold my kids brought home and have had a fever on and off for two days, chills, stuffy then runny nose, congestion, achy and sinus pressure.  It seems to be worse at night and first thing in the morning, can't wait to be off Thursday through Tuesday need a long weekend.

Happy mid week to all, hope the week has been good for all. I'm battling a cold and finally getting towards the end of it with the worst parts being yesterday running a fever all day and having a hard time sleeping for a couple of nights which led to being exhausted.

I love their wanderlust tie dye towel, it is one of my favorites still. I have two or three of the pocket style towels in my house between myself and my girls, a XL wanderlust beach towel/blanket and then the roundie in the rainbow tie dye. Naturally I had to buy the wall tapestry also, I don't have a lot of wall space left in our home so I wasn't sure what I would use it for but as soon as it arrived I could see it being used for concerts and the beach as well as for a throw or cover on my bed. 

As you can see I have it folded in half at the foot of my bed, matches nicely in my room with my KDS Dreamcatcher that has recycled tie dyed tee shirts for the strings on it. Love her designs. This wall tapestry is large enough to cover my king size bed, so it is huge. It is made of a thinner material then the Turkish style towels, more like a large sheet but very soft. The colors are vibrant and the tie dye is amazing like all their tie dye towels. They also have the Luna, pacific and indigo tie dye towels, bag and then the acid wash in black still, I have the strawberry pink color also. Not sure if they plan to bring that color back I know several people have asked me and I will be sure to ask them my next email. 

Here is the Seabreeze tapestry which I went ahead and ordered because blue is my favorite color, it always was purple but over the passed five years all shades of blue have become my favorite. I think of blue as a happy and calming shade. I also got the whale wristlet for my beach bag or to carry to concert or football games. It is perfect for holding my ID, keys and small essentials. 

As soon as we opened the tapestry my oldest daughter asked to see if it fit in her bed. She changed her room last year to grey walls with yellow, black and white with some blue accents, and she uses a duvet cover like me, she has been shopping around for a cover with more blue for when she washes her yellow accented covers and this worked amazing. She loves it and then my mom saw it so I had to order her one also. I also got another for myself because it looks great on the dining table and my sofa since I have aqua and teal blue accent walls with all shades of blue curtains and pillows between my dining room and living room. With an open floor plan it all flows nicely. This tapestry is slightly smaller then the rainbow swirl but fits a full and queen bed perfectly then my dining table is a six to eight setting table that it looks amazing on, will post photos once my next one arrives since this one has been taken over lol.

I vote we cancel all Monday's

I vote we cancel all Monday's and make it a three day weekend, but then Tuesday would become the new Monday lol. Fighting a cold which won, started last week and was battling it good till both my girls had it, now been miserable for two days. Woke up all night, have had barely 2-3 hours of straight sleep for two nights, running a fever on and off all day, stuffy then runny nose, basically no fun at all. Top it all off the kids are sick, my younger daughter is pretty much at the end of it just has a little congestion and has been getting mid day headaches from sniffling or sinus pressure. My oldest missed school today and I'm sure she had a great time with no one home to bother her, from what I saw looked like she slept all day. I wish that was me but I did have Sunday which was pretty much sleeping and bumming around. 

My makeup today was light, same eyeliner pencil in purple by NYX, black Kat Von D tattoo liner, Too Faced Better then Sex black mascara, MAC loose powder blush in Melba, Laura Mercier loose powder, MAC highlighter to brighten under my eyes, Bareminerals Smokey eye kit with double ended brush (one of my fave kits) contains Shades: Soul (light cream linen), Celestine (light pewter), Graphite Eye color (deep coal), and my lips are Lancôme Juicy tubes in tickled pink. Got addicted to those Lancôme Juicy tubes in my early twenties when I had multiple friends working at Macy's at the Lancôme counter. I get a bunch in my stocking every holiday, they are perfect for a on the go quick splash of color and shine. 

My look today kind of went with the grey overcast skies and rain, my tank is by Knit Riot LA and yes I wished I would have heard that Monday was cancelled and I could go home today. Layered this tank over a solid black cami since it has high side slits, love the slits they make the top feel flowy and light. Wanderlust Sunday

Happy Sunday Funday, hope everyone had an amazing weekend. Tonight I am posting my Sunday ootd. 

Hair color is Pravana Violet and Indigo. My make up is Laura Mercier powder, MAC highlighter, purple NYX eyeliner used to pencil in my eyebrows, Kat Von D black tattoo liner, Better then Sex Too Faced black mascara, MAC powder blush in Melba, applied using Morphe brushes and MAC brushes, eye shadow is all colors from Kylie Cosmetic Ky Shadow with the copper creme shadow on lid, and last my lips are Colourpop ultra glossy Finders keepers. Love their lip glosses, have This is my Jam and has a gorgeous gold sparkle that is amazing. 

Wearing my Lace Kimono from PacSun that I purchased on clearance over a year ago. Love this kimono and I'm sure you have seen it often since I wear it all the time. 

My graphic tee/tank is a eBay find by Spell and the Gypsy. Love this wanderlust tee has sleeves that can be rolled up and held with a button for a tank look, and then rolled down for a tee look. This is one of my fave older Spell designs graphic tops. 

My orange floral and lace skirt is also Spell and the Gypsy. Love this skirt, the fabric is amazing, all their fabric prints are hand drawn, the lace insert and lace trim are an amazing detail. Love the pockets one of my favorite features on skirts and dresses. Needless to say the Spell ladies never disappoint. Already got the lilac Oracle skirt and sleeveless blouse, have the maple skirt, and sage blouse en route and ordering a dress, skirt and hopefully some new graphic tees when they release them.

Fall boot trends for less

Hey y'all got one of my original style blog posts from back when I started this blog when I was working as a teachers aid and starting my own business as an interior designer, event party planner/ decor and cakes. I had champagne taste on a beer budget and my passion for fashion was just like it is now. I wanted all the latest trends and styles I was seeing online, worn by celebs, bloggers, in all the magazines, on the runways, on my favorite online shops or designer sites. I love accessories and like anything in fashion I always invest in a few staple pieces for each season that are designer, brand name or high end labels, but then I have such a huge passion for fashion I always want multiple styles, colors and so on. That's when I hunt for looks for less so I have all the colors, materials, and styles I love. I only wear them a few times a week, the staple expensive pieces I wear as often as I can sometimes daily.  Also keep in mind I have a teen daughter and we wear same size in shoes and even most clothing. 

I love accessories if it's purses, I love to have small, medium and large bags. Different colors, materials, leather, suede, fringe, buckles, studs, cross body, bucket, totes, you name it. I have an amazing purse collection thanks to my hubby, he always buys me designer bags for gifts, I have splurged and bought myself some but usually my hubby buys me the more expensive stuff because I tend to always feel guilty spending on myself. I don't mind carrying a purse or hand bag from Forever 21, Old Navy, Wet Seal, Jessica Buurman, Asos and other similar stores. Lots of shops carry look a likes that are hard to tell the difference at a glance and I have to have different styles, multiple colors sometimes, and sizes. It's a lot easier when you are buying a bag to wear with a few looks for under $50 or sometimes even as low as $5-8 versus investing 250-3500 on just one bag. I carry my everyday bag which right now my everyday bag is a black medium Celine tote. I have Michael Kors, Coach all leather bags, Tory Burch, Marc Jacobs, Burberry, Chloe, Louis Vuitton, Spell and the Gypsy, Miscellaneous totes, clutches and wristlets by lots of brands or from online shops and my recent bag was a gift and will be here soon, it's a Gucci purse with a floral print. Of course the color I wanted was in stock in stores. I got it as my 18 year wedding anniversary gift and I didn't ask for it, I showed my hubby a similar bag I liked a couple months ago minus the floral, then a friend recently got a small version of the bag and I showed it to him, he didn't like the first striped bag from months ago but he did like the floral bag. He surprised me with a photo and gift receipt for the bag and is expected September 28 - October 10. I will post when it arrives till then here are the ones I was trying to decide on. Not going to say which one he got me or if even the same print, color, size or style

Onto a brand of shoes I discovered last winter, I saw a pair of strappy ankle boots at Free People and was saving when I decided to check eBay, Mercari, online shops and boutiques then Poshmark. I found them all over eBay that looked almost identical, colors weren't as vintage looking and of course not real leather but I have so many boots and shoes. Once I found the brand it took me some time searching for my size and then couldn't find the brown I wanted but got a dark grey almost brown shade at Sophie May's boutique. The Free People pair were around $200 give or take a few bucks these were around $29.99-39.99 depending on color and site. 

I settled for the dark grey but loved them so much, I kept an eye on some on eBay and once they had brown I ordered them. I don't really need boots, I live in Florida where it is hot and summer like year round, but I own over 20 pairs of ankle boots, mid boots, tall boots, cowboy boots, leather, suede, perforated, peep toe, fringe & rain boots. Then have taupe, grey, tan, brown, black, grey, rust, navy and army green. 

Then when I saw these boots I had been wanting a pair of Jeffrey Campbell boots. My favorite boot designers/brands are Freebird by Steve Madden, Spell Designs, Free People always has many styles I love, Frye, Hunter boots, Steve Edelman and of course Jeffrey Campbell. I was thrilled to see the Jeffrey Campbell style minus the silver toe accent and almost bought them multiple times. Imagine my surprise when I found some even better matches.

Same brand as my strappy sandals above Mi.iM and only $45. They are almost exact and waiting paid off they have the silver tip toe I love. These are my style for sure. Perfect for my edgy rocker look with torn jeans and graphic or band tee shirts, then with my boho chic skirts with tees, off the shoulder or peasant style tops  and dresses. Like the purses I mentioned above, as long as it is not an exact replica with logo I love a great look alike.  I have also seen blush have them in my cart but these black ones will arrive Monday. Can't wait, and found some other gems on the collage below. Ordered 3 pairs total and of course new FreeBird boots by Madden. 

Other styles by Mi.iM I love and for the record I splurged for fall/winter on new Hunters and my daughter purchased some stylish combat boots after destroying the black ones I got on clearance at TJ Maxx last year. Love the pair she got this year better. Benefits we wear same size. Double the accessories for us both. Love that for sure. 

These are all my faves. As you can see the black silver pointed toe, open ankle boots are also in blush. More cool styles, I love straps, buckles, studs, fringe and lots of boho chic or edgy rocker details or embellishments. 

Okay I lost my first post I started at two am when my phone died and usually Jr. will save as a draft but it didn't. I spent a a lot of time writing that post, was more detailed and all. Was super upset but now save the post every paragraph lol. It's 4 am here and I need sleep I'm sick then just run down from a long few weeks. Tomorrow is a bum day for me. Did all my laundry between party, company and football. Sad FSU lost but we will still be ranked not #2 but fingers crossed in top 10 in the polls.
