Hot summer looks for less

Summer looks for Less..

I have always loved to share bargains and deals with my readers. I know my favorite part of shopping is saving money. Who doesn't love to save money?  I love to save money on any items I can so I can splurge on others. I am always seeing cute pieces I love and have always made sure instead of ordering on impulse as soon as I find a cute style or look, instead to take the time to surf the web and look around for similar or same styles for less. My first spot I hit is always eBay. I have found some of the best deals ever on eBay. Usually the items are brand new but on occasion I have found lightly used items for way less than new. Usually 50-75% or more savings.

I use to do a weekly post taking tv shows or soaps I watched then posting some of my favorite fashions from those shows and trying finding the same items or  something comparable for a everyday person like myself who doesn't have tons of money or unlimited budgets. I always like to call those fashion finds, designer deals, looks for less or style steals. You can find some old posts here on my blog.

This week I was looking to finish up my summer shopping with adding a few more cute graphic tops, tees or tanks for my upcoming trip to New Orleans and Texas, some cute boyfriend or destroyed denim shorts or cropped jeans, cute skirts and some peasant style dresses. I started my hunt on eBay and found several items I loved. Including a few peasant dresses from $5-18, was super excited to find a chicwish peasant style dress I have seen on other blogs this week for $30 in my size, I had tried to order direct because they had a great sale and their prices are usually awesome but they were sold out of my size.

Photo from Ebay.com.

The above dress was $10 with shipping made by Forever 21. Can't wait to wear this on vacation. It is similar to the chicwish dress I ordered. Only difference is the style of the dress, this is more of a peasant style dress and the Chicwish dress was more of a babydoll cut dress.  I also found a cute cropped cardigan in blue that matches a lot of these white gauze style dresses with the blue stitching. The dress above stitching looks more navy blue than the porcelain blue I have seen on a lot of the embroidered pieces I have purchased but I have some navy cardigans I am sure lol.

I also have been eyeing a pretty kimono that was retailing for $27-35 on some online shops and found it on eBay for $4.99 can't wait to receive it, the colors are gorgeous and great for summer. This can be worn many ways, as a beach coverup, over tanks and tees or over a pretty summer dress.

Fashion Finds and Style Steals..

We all know I love graphic tees and tanks, I occasionally will splurge and spend a little extra money on a cute tee if it's something unique and one of a kind but I always look around for the same designer on eBay discounted or a lot of times you can find the exact same tee or tank maybe the style is slightly different or the graphic is a little different but same idea for way less.

                 Above photo is from
                RebeccaMinkoff.com

A great example is this cute white tank by Rebecca Minkoff that retails for over $50. I love beach saying graphic tanks and tee shirts for the summer, I broke down and bought this tank but returned it after receiving it because it was a little big and was having buyers remorse. I loved the saying and had to take a look online to see if a similar style was being sold online. Sure enough...

I found the above tank on Wetseal.com and on sale for $15 plus had a promo code to get free shipping and 10% off my first online purchase. Sure the style of the tank is different, the Rebecca tank was longer in length and more of a muscle cut tank, but the graphic is the same.  To me that was what attracted me to the tank to begin with, when shopping for fun summer graphic tees and tanks I wanted ones with cute beach sayings or quotes.  I will update once this items arrives or have a new post featuring all these items.  All I know is that by returning that one tank I was refunded over $60 with shipping and tax, with that money I was able to go from buying one tank to three tops, two Machine jean shorts, a pair of jeans, pencil skirts and some accessories.  To me that was way worth the savings and the tank hopefully will fit good, it has the same exact graphic so it should be a perfect replacement.  Stay tuned..

I found several items on their site that are comparable to and the same as many items I had wanted for way less.

I had seen this, "Go climb a cactus" tank on several sites for $20-30 and I paid $6.40 after sale price and discount. I also got the machine denim jean shorts in white and blue for $10 and $15 plus 10% off. I got a cute skirt (popular white and black skirt) and a stylish dress also. Once everything arrives next week I will be sure to post on my new Instagram fashion page I started @Cr8tiveFashionWanderlust. Be sure to follow for my daily ootd posts and finds.

Tank photo from Ebay listing.

I found this awesome white muscle style tank for $10 on eBay. These have been retailing for $20-35 online in boutiques and shops. With eBay if you see an item I found that you are interested in purchasing yourself please comment below or message me on Instagram I will send you a link for the shop if it's an item they stock regularly, sometimes it's a one item bid and if I win it they don't have more, like the dress I won above, but this tank is something they stock in all sizes.

I also have some other items I am bidding on now I will share later in the week, along with my Wetseal purchase, JCrew purchase and ordered several cute pieces from Forever 21 online because I had found a couple items in store but they didn't have my size. When this happens I just order online. I am done with summer shopping, once my final bids on eBay end and my items arrive, I think I said that before but this time I mean it. Got myself and my daughters a lot of super cute stuff for our vacation and the rest of the summer. I will be taking a break from shopping since my closet is bursting at the seams and won't be buying anymore new items till august for the fall and winter.

I can't wait to share all the new cute items I ordered along with some cute pieces I am receiving from some of my favorite online shops, I have a few shops sending me pieces to review for my blog and post on my social media to share with my readers and followers. Excited because a couple are surprises I don't know for sure what they are sending and that is always exciting. I had shared a bohemian definition tee a couple weeks ago from Boho Circus and the lovely ladies contacted me when responding to a question I had sent them on etsy along with a photo of how I styled their tee and they informed me they would be sending me a tee or tank, I can't wait should arrive this week. Also met a lovely lady on etsy who makes her own tee shirts and has some amazing and super cute styles that is going to be sending me some new styles to share with all my readers as well.

Thank you for passing by to check out my post. Please feel free if there is an item you love and you are looking for at a bargain price or deal to contact me. Either email me or send me a photo through Instagram dm or comment below leaving your contact info and I will do my best to find it for you. I don't mind helping, my best friend lives in NC and the other two are one in PA and the other in KY when ever they want to buy something they always send me photos and I search for deals for them. I have found $165 jeans for $30 on eBay like new and designer tops that retail for $60/80 online and found them for 20-30 on eBay also. Sometimes I find them new or lightly used and I also find similar looks for less, may not be the exact brand but you would never know if I didn't tell you. I am always happy to help.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend and here is to happy bargain shopping and deal hunting. Xoxo ✌️❤️

Style steals, looks for less coming Monday

I am back at it, finding you some of the cutest and most recent trends from high end designers, with a close to or exact match by a lower end designer or boutique for way less. I use to do these awhile back and it's been some time since my last post. I use to use a lot of the tv series like the Real Housewives series to find cute outfits then show you the designer or style they wore then a comparable style for less. Now I am going to just find you some of the newest trends from blogs and hot designers that are trending online from bloggers and Social media, I find these items and then spend some time searching the web for similar or almost exact looks from time to time for less. I love to do this because if you are like me and have champagne taste on a beer budget than you will love this post. I am going to try to do one monthly or atleast every season. My summer style steals will be available this week coming hopefully Monday evening. I will have some denim style steals, graohic tee looks for less and then lots of other items like skirts, dresses, and more. Stay tuned. Also please be sure to check out my new Instagram page I have created, from a old account I had used for my business and photography I wanted to have a page dedicated to fashion and home decor, check out @cr8tivefashionwanderlust and be sure to follow along. I will have ootd pics. Style steals and deals as well. Home design and decor along with diy projects, recipes and more.

Have a fabulous weekend xoxo.

My style: Boho Chic

If you had to ask me what my style is I would have to say a mix of rocker, boho and gypsy style. I love tee shirts, tank tops, ripped jeans, sandals, bling, skirts, vests, kimonos, bohemian jewelry, Buddhas and more. Here are some examples below of some of my favorite finds lately, from jewelry to clothes.

I love sandals with jewels or bling, or just strappy flat sandals. Got an amazing pair of talk gladiator sandals at Marshall's on sale over the fall that I can't wait to wear this spring. Posted on my IG back months ago. Also found a lot of Kimonos on eBay from 6-9 bucks, all my boho Turkish jewelry I have gotten off eBay for under $10 most were actually under $5, only thing is you have to wait for international shipping very patiently lol.

I love long skirts and flowy vests, or the draping flowy tops with crochet details. I have posted a couple posts mentioning Fashion Junkee and they have some cute tops and kimonos that are so my style. Check out the below photos and I will add details later on where to find and prices. Have had a migraine for a week now and can't wait for my Botox treatment.

Found this Kimono which at the time was selling for $28-40 online, on eBay for $8-9 and it's amazing.  Fashion Junkee has one I want in white with floral design that is similar on sale now. Hoping to get one next week if they have any left.

This super cute top will be in my cart for next week ordering from Fashion Junkee, they have a cute dress and another top similar I have in my cart also. Love this shop can't get enough.

This cute kimono style lace crochet detail is $12 on eBay. Ordering for sure for my spring wardrobe.

Ordered this almost a month ago and should arrive any day now from eBay. Was $6.50. Looks just like one I saw on Anthropologie website for way less. Can't wait to pair with some denim capris and olive green and brown tops. I have the perfect sandals for these in brown with gold and turquoise beading.

Got this cute top off eBay also $10 with shipping and should have any day now.

My LeMotto tee and gypsy bohemian skirt I have had for many years, so many I can't even remember where I got it. Super cute and has silver round coin looking details that dangle all over it. Love this look and a great example of dressing up tee shirts with a skirt.

Above are some of my bohemian, Turkish style necklace I have found on eBay. Below are some similar on eBay now or that I recently have ordered to add to my collection.

I ordered this one for $6.99 last week similar to the one I have already but like the center detail.

I got this one a year ago off eBay for $5.99 and love it have seen similar ones sell for three to four times that.

My favorite kind of arm party is a bohemian one. I have loved this type of jewelry since I was a teen. It's funny cause the new tattoo chocker necklaces that are plastic I see my teen wearing, I wore when I was her age, and pieces like this I was wearing around 16-20. Still have some of my older pieces. Including a anklet that jingles. We go to the renaissance festival every year and I wear my gear, usually dress up like a gypsy or bohemian style maiden.

Love these wide bangles. They look amazing solo or with some coin or simple Turkish style bracelets.
Love these feather bracelets, my mom got me my first Alex and Ani bangle for Christmas, which is the Buddha one.  I had to check them out right away online because I loved it so much and my next purchase was the solid feather, a hamsa and evil eye.  They look great with the bohemian style bracelets also.

This is my Alex and Ani feather bangle, they also have one with a feather charm. My next tattoo will be a feather. Love the feather design.

I won the above skirt at a party I went to many years ago for a gym opening for a friend of mine. They had pole dancing classes, yoga, belly dancing and other types of workout classes, I won the bellydancer package that came with this skirt, Turkish coin necklace, bracelet, anklet and the finger cymbals. Super cool. I also have a blue scarf or skirt like this I got my oldest daughter at one of the renaissance festivals to wear. Super cute, can be worn as a scarf, shawl, or skirt. I wear mine around my waste or shoulders over a long skirt and top, that's my renaissance costume. My kids now have their own and are usually gypsies or pirates. Lol.

More jewelry layered, got this shot from eBay and one of the items I just ordered a couple weeks ago. Got the turquoise and silver bracelet to match my others for $6 amazing prices.

My bangle in antiqued silver, paid $4 with free shipping a few months ago and is amazing quality.

Love turquoise pieces and this one is gorgeous.

Remember if you love these pieces you can find them on my websites but check out eBay if you have an account, they have a lot you can bid on and buy it now choices also. Almost always free shipping but patience is key cause the shipping can take 1-3 weeks specially on these smaller pieces.

Enjoy and hope you love my stellar finds for the boho chic style. More rocker chic looks coming soon.

Target black comfy styles for Spring

Last week scooped up a couple cute items at Target while shopping for home decor and groceries. Also was preparing for Valentine's day party at my little one's school. Grabbed cute valentines cards, candies and popcorn, along with a cute Hallmark Piglet Cupid and some goodies for my girls.

I always go to Target for house hold items but can't help but walk through the apparel department. They had some amazing clearance deals but I am stocked up for winter and grabbed a few items the weeks before, I did find a couple cute tanks and tees on sale in basic solids or stripes but my favorite items were some new Mossimo items they had out.

I posted a little while back a cute romper I grabbed in yellow and spring shades with a yellow cardigan, but I was drawn to a few black staple items for my wardrobe. I recently have been cleaning my closet and had to donate some items that are now to large for me. I needed a new long black and white maxi skirt, found the perfect one with a great slit up the front on one side by Mossimo. I also got a cute zip up black vest, black jogging style loose fit pants and an adorable black tank style romper.

This is the cute romper I wore Friday afternoon with a black and white printed sweater cardigan.
Romper on the rack at Target before I made the decision to purchase
Cute Mossimo black, zip up vest with side zip pocket. Fitted and super cute, found some matching black jogging style, loose fit pants that are so comfy I couldn't pass them up. I have a few pairs of jogging sweats for home wear but these are made for wearing out and about but still so cozy.
Vest and jogging pants together from this weekend. Ended up pairing with a gray tank versus the black I was wearing in the photo. The charcoal gray broke up the black on black plus I don't like when my blacks don't match exact. The pants match the vest perfectly. I believe they are meant to be worn together.

Super cute black and white striped maxi skirt, with a slit on front side. Love this skirt fits amazing and hits at the perfect length. I am always having issues with length and I am not short. I am 5'8 but depending on brands I either have them to long or to short. This skirt and the romper are perfect length.

Once again Target hits a home run and trust me they had many other super cute new styles in store but promised myself I would not be buying any more clothing till I finish cleaning out my closet lol. Hope everyone is enjoying the Super Bowl and weekend, lots of home decor posts to come this week along with some diy projects for updating your decor without spending a ton of cash. Spray paint and regular paint is amazing for refreshing your home for spring, to add some pops of color without having to repurchase all new items.

Thank you as always for passing by and happy fashion hunting.

Thursday outfit

A little cool weather outfit of the day, had to throw this together quick today after having a scare at my daughter's school not long after I dropped her off. Just finishing cleaning and organizing my closet, which has made getting dressed so much easier.

Little collage of some of my favorite shots.
Before the scarf and fingerless hand warmer style gloves. Have on a basic black tank top from Old Navy, super cute and baggy, off the shoulder, lightweight cream sweater with a black heart from 2chicsandacause, also the cream and black boot cuffs are from same shop. Found them on FB and they also are on IG. Black leggings were a Christmas gift from my mom and she said they are from Marshall's, they are super soft and lined. Boots are Steve Madden and found these at TJ Maxx in black and brown on clearance at Marshall's not long after. Love them. Obsessed, also target had a similar look in same height and I have a taller pair I got at target on clearance recently.
Here you can see the amazing cute scarf that can be worn many ways, had super cute button detail and was from Walmart, another great gift from my mom. The gloves or fingerless hand warmers are black and have a cute button detail, found these on eBay for $3.

Have some amazing spring stuff coming soon. Loving pastels and prints, silk shorts with lace trim and lots of sandals. I love peach, coral, aqua, mint, and light yellow. Can't wait to show some cute things I have found. Enjoy and happy shopping. Xoxo

My ootd from Sunday

Sunday night we had some amazing weather here. I know a lot of you are having some crazy weather and hope everyone is keeping warm along with saying safe. Here we don't get much cold weather and it is always a nice change. Sunday I decided to layer up and wear some items I have not gotten much use out of but am looking forward to wearing while in vacation next month.

We decided to take a trip out west to Holiday Park in the Everglades for the sunset. I got some amazing photos of the sunset along with meeting some amazing ladies from IG while I was there. I always love to meet other ladies who have a love for photography like I do. Also it's fun to meet people from Instagram.

For my outfit I wore a pair of Americsn Eagle jeans that I love. I love many brands and some are more expensive then others but when I am looking for an inexpensive pair of nice fitting jeans I always hit the American Eagle outlet. Even their regular stores always have amazing sales along with a great clearance section, but the outlet has a huge clearance area and always has the jeans on sale for half of what they retail for. I love their skinny jeans and super skinny jeans. They are soft, fit amazing and for $20-25 can't beat it.

I paired those with a eBay find white tee that has a quarter of the sleeve ribbed and my favorite thumb holes for your finger, love this because I can keep my hands warm and don't need gloves or hand warmers. I layered with my Old Navy clearance vest in navy and white stripes, and brought my navy peacoat along in case I needed an extra layer as the sun went down. I also had my Burbery scarf in navy plaid and clearance mossimo boots from Target. Another amazing deal with cartwheel I found last week.

Here is a flat lay shot of my outfit before I got dressed. Posted on IG

The tall navy socks with lace trim and bow were another eBay find, under $3 with shipping. They are super cute and tall. You can't see but the have a heart design on them.

A selfie from IG of the outfit on once we returned home from taking photos.

I don't like to take bathroom mirror selfies but it is the easiest way to get the entire look without having to have one of my kids take a photo for me lol. I saw at Walmart they have the selfie stick that you attach your iPhone or phone to and can take pictures with. May invest for better photos for you all to see.

Impressed myself because I got everything seen here on eBay or from the stores on sale at 50% below retail or more in some cases. Old navy had an amazing sale the day after Christmas online and target is killing it with sales. Will have a post shortly about my target finds and deals this week, including that pouf I posted last week that was on sale for $41, well I went back to get a few things with a giftcard I won got target and it was on sale for 29. Hope to get another one today.

I have been working hard on spring cleaning. All week I have been cleaning my closet and dressing area, donating many items and will be selling more stuff. I will have some photos soon but first have to make a target run. Stay tuned for my cleaning shots and tips for organizing your closet. Also will have some shots of my bohemian inspired bedroom update, target finds and more outfits of the day, along with some weekly mail. Always gl email and to share my newest finds and deals.

Enjoy xoxo

Happy New Year, winter style shots

Happy new year to all. Sorry been gone for a couple months took a break to spend some time with my family and prepare for the holidays. Even though I have taken a brief break from then blog still been busy finding some cute fashion deals and enjoying playing with some different style for the winter season.

I recently have purchased many new items online and in stores on sale. Old Navy, H&M , Urban Outfitters and Anthro to name a few of my favorite stores have had some amazing after holiday sales. I was super excited to finally find an amazing quilted puffer jacket with fur trimmed hoodie for $20 from H&M, scooped up some J Crew quilted vests in pin strip, and camo, had the herringbone but sold it recently on eBay. Got a few cute sweaters, a jacket, vest and other cute items on sale from Old Navy. Target had some super cute boots I got back in the fall on sale for $24.99 in cognac, they lace up and have a mid heel. I also found a tall black pair with buckles on sale for 24 this passed week. All the stores are starting to mark down boots and winter clothes here. My mom got my little one the cutest pair of black boots for $10 at walmart. They have a little heel and super cute straps with buckle.

Also added some new cute graphic tees to my collection, rocked some older flannels and sweaters, some new jeans I love by Machine denim. Of course my regular  favorites by Vigoss, Miss Me, Hudson and lucky brand to name a few. Love layering and wish I had cooler weather where I live but we have yet to have many cool fronts this season. As I type this the temperature is dropping here but not suppose to get that cold.

Quickly going to post a few photo collages of some of my outfits from the month of November and December, along with some recent purchases either I ordered online or scooped up in store while returning items from the holidays. Found a super cute lace trim sweater online from Utban Outiftrers in black and olive green then found a similar one at Marshall's for $19.99, it is a cable knit sweater with lace trim and grabbed that in cream first then found a pink color this week.

Enjoy the photos and I will update this post tomorrow with all the details for the photos, for what I am wearing, brands, stores to find them and deals. Hope everyone had an amazing holiday and New Years. I am excited to be updating the look of the blog, plus I will have more winter styles, deals and spring finds coming soon.

Wish the best for everyone in 2015,

Some cute graphic tees I have been wearing. Like to layer for the cooler months with cardigan, button down chambray or flannel tops and kimono style, open front tops.
Top left is from Target and is my first spring purchase, it's a cute long romper that is strapless and I layered with a yellow cardigan also from target.  Next to it was my Christmas Eve outfit, kept it comfortable and simple with a Marshall's sweater and leggings, the bottom left is a simple black tee from Old Navy and this cute Lucky Brand Aztec style cardigan, my mom purchased me for Christmas. Love it. Then next to that is my eBay find tassel, kimono that I got for &10.
Been wearing sweaters when ever the weather drops the slightest, some u have had for awhile. The top left and bottom left sweater is a loose knit, off the shoulder white sweater I have from Kohls and purchased last winter, I paired it with Machine ripped jeans and a simple white tank top. I got a lot of comments and likes on my Instagram for this outfit. Very comfy and not to warm for those Florida winter days. Top right was the lace and cream sweater I mentioned in my post above, I found this at Marshall's and was only $19.98 , paired with lucky brand jeans also from Marshall's. Bottom right is another old sweater I got last winter from Marshall's and paired with some skinny jeans by Seven denim. I have been wearing a lot of leg warmers and talk socks with boots this season also. I will post a entry soon with my socks, leg warmers, leggings and boots.
Top left and right along with bottom left is a outfit I threw together for holiday shopping and a end of the school year party before Christmas break. The sweater is a cable knit Michael Kors sweater I purchased on eBay last winter, paired with Vigoss jeans, cream lace trim leg warmers and talk, brown leather, Guess boots. In the evening it was a little cold here so grabbed out my Tory Burch brown leather jacket to keep warm.  Bottom right is a simple pair of holiday leggings, and a warm oversized, black sweatshirt. Both items purchased from a online boutique I follow on Facebook called 2Chicksandacause. They donate some of the proceeds to a set foundation or fund every month. Love when some of my money goes to a good cause.

More graphic tees I love, top left was my Good Vibes only tee from Mulberry Press Co, next to it a new tee I got in October from Pebby Forevee. Love it and worn it several times, has a off the shoulder cut look and love the saying, it's a John Muir quote, "The mountains are calling and I must go". Excited because the mountains have been calling and we are going. Bottom left is from Be Still Clothing and is my camo be still and know tee. I believe I have posted this before. One of t favorites, love the camo print tee with white font.  Bottom right is a tee I found from a shop on eBay that makes tons of cute graphic tees and tops, it is a forest green unisex tee with, check your ego amigo. Saw it and had to order.
Top two sweaters are old sweaters I have had for awhile, both are from Express. I love stripes every time I look through my closet I laugh and tell myself no more stripes. The bottom left is a outfit from Old Navy, a simple white tee, flannel and jeans. Bottom right is from the FB boutique mentioned above, 2chicksandacause and it's a vest, with Aztec print. Their prices are great. Ordered a sherpa jacket, this vest, oversized cream sweater with a black heart, some leggings, black sweatshirts, boot cuffs and Aztec legwarmers all from them and was an amazing price. All the items fit amazing, super cute and well made. Highly recommend.

Aztec brown and cream leg warmers, and cream lace trim leg warmers. The Aztec ones I got from the FB boutique, then got the cream ones off eBay, also got my little one a pair, and grabbed myself several colors since the price was so amazing. When ever I see something super cute online but it isn't priced kind of high, I always check eBay. The leggings, leg warmers, boot cuffs, fingerless gloves, scarves and even kimonos have all been found on eBay for a fraction of the cost in online boutiques. I love to support small businesses and independtly owned businesses with an original or handmade item but sometimes being a stay at home mom that has her own small business, I need to look for a deal or bargain.  Then bottom right is my old navy haul, just a glimpse. I got four sweaters, three tank tops, button down plaid shirt, striped quilted vest and navy coat. Amazing sale after Christmas.

Last of all another glimpse of my John Muir quoted tee from Pebby Forevee, love the cut and style of this tee. Machine jeans and then Marshall's sweater in pink with lace trim.

I will update and edit this post tomorrow. Sorry for any typos but been wanting to post all week, been under the weather due to flu season. A lot of new things to come in home decor and design. In the process of remodeling kids rooms. Got the paint and bedding along with some accents an decor pieces. Will have before and after shots hopefully but will have after photos for sure. Also painting bathroom and hallway, hangjng chandeliers and art so lots to come. Again hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and holiday along with a very happy new year!

Melissa Gorga's Sequin Romper

On the Real Housewives of NJ tonight Melissa Gorga wore a cute strapless, short romper that was black with silver sequins. I am starting to google now and haven't found the exact. I have seen a couple cute ones that are comparable at Fredrick's of Hollywood and French Connection. Have some photos of a couple need to do a little more research the photo below was from Dillard's website by French Connection, which Melissa has worn a couple sequin dresses by in the past. Still hunting and if anyone else finds out who makes it or some similar ones please let me know:).  Thank you to readers who let me know where the romper was purchased,  it was available thru Shop Ambience but is sold out, I will post a photo below.

More to come.....
