Touch up on St. Patty's day Gold and Green mani

I added the OPI Man with the Golden Gun gold too coat to all of my nails that I started with Butter London British Racing green earlier in the week with just an accent nail with gold. Didn't have time to repaint all my nails so added a fresh coat of the green then added three thin coats to get a lot of gold on each nail to finish off.

Was going to use the Essie brighter green I posted late in February but had no time with my daughters begging to have movie night. This should do since I will only need for tomorrow then removing for a pastel for vacation. Enjoy photos and again I used Butter London British Racing green which is a deep emerald green and topped with OPI man with the golden gun real gold flakes top coat. Marshall's and TJ Maxx purses.

Lately my local Marshall's and TJ Maxx have had huge shipments of Michael Kors, Juicy, Coach, Jessica Simpson and other nice bags also in gorgeous bright colors along with pastels for spring and summer.

Last week before payday I was browsing Marshall's waiting for my little one to get out of school and came across a Michael Kor's Hamilton purse in silver. I have wanted a Hamilton for a little while but at Christmas time when Macy's had their friends and family sale I went for a dressier black python bag with silver chain and hardware cause I couldn't resist for the price. Then entered an online contest to win one of three Michael Kors bags and actually won a jet set tote which I would have never bought but was pleased with cause it isn't the usual canvas material rather a nice almost PVC material, which I love because the canvas ones stain and get dirty/fade quickly if you carry it a lot.

I didn't get the Hamilton bag and once I got home I was mad! Even if you don't have the cash at the time both Marshall's and TJ Maxx have layaway so it makes it easier to not miss out in a great find. My main reason for passing up was I really want turquoise or bright color or a black one.

I figured keep looking so that is what I have been doing. I frequent these stores often since both are close to home and my daughter's school. Every Tuesday and Thursday around 9:30-11 they roll out the new freight and stock the shelves. Today my mom and I walked into TJ Maxx as they were unpacking. I was excited but unfortunately didn't fall in love with any of the ones they got in today:(. Then Marshall's is always either a hit or miss today they had a couple but none again I had to have. I have been carrying around forty bucks to throw one on layaway as soon as I find it but hasn't happened.

I took photos of the ones I liked at TJ Maxx at let me tell you there was several ladies who walked in a filled their carts. Most were canvas ones and a few totes they all ranged from 119 up to 249. I tend to like an all leather bag usually but some of these were super cute. I am holding out for a bright color or all leather black bag for now and I know if I'm patient I will find one especially since passed few weeks they have been getting ALOT!

Enjoy the photos of the bags below. All the ones I took pictures of we're $179 and $199. I almost got the gray or blue one and liked the black canvas that has the Hamilton outlet look. My mom liked the brown and ran canvas with orange accents. Again I like silver hardware on my bags but if I really like one and the price is good I will buy one with gold:).

Essie Escapades great spring/summer shade

Today I painted my nails using the color Escapades by Essie. I messed up my quickie manicure I did the other night at the beach and was considering doing same color I did my toes yesterday which is Essie Midnight Cami, love this navy blue color:).

Making dinner so didn't get to remove any polish I got on cuticles but I didn't have much:). I applied Butter London nail foundation as my base polish. Once that was dry I quickly applied two coats of Essie Escapades. I may have done a third coat if I had more time I don't care for the visible tip line on nails, but time was of the essence tonight lol.

I finished off with my favorite quick dry shiny top coat by Out The Door:). Love this top coat for when I need them dry super fast. Way better for me then Seche. Seche is thick and I get shrinkage along with lines if I lay on something or hit something. I also love Poshe for my other favorite top coat. I use that one a lot also but doesn't dry as fast, but seems to help prevent chipping quick.

I love this color. It reminds me of a coral but with some bright pink mixed in. Coral is one of my favorite shades along with turquoise right now:). Love them. It is a refreshing bright and cheerful color. I think it is great for spring and summer. Can't wait to use with a bright turquoise shade.

Making a beer can chicken now smells good;)~. Back to reality tomorrow :(. I feel good though got so much done around the home front and had fun too.

Butter London Slapper pedicure

Paint my toe nails a couple times a week sometimes usually Monday or Tuesday then sometimes on Friday if I am going out and want the polish to match shoes or outfit. I go for a pedicure at salon every two weeks but mostly just for the scrubbing and cleaning up usually get clear polish sometimes a French cause I don't usually keep the color cause I like to paint my own. I have over two hundred polishes of my own so I always have a color I want to try or something that looks amazing with shoes or an outfit.

This past weekend I went for turquoise color by Butter London called Slapper. I haven't worn this color yet but love it. I like bright, dark or bold colors and sometimes settle for a French but more natural looking French not pink cause I have a foot fetish always like my toes to be seen and living in Florida I wear a lot of flip flops and sandals.

I applied a base coat of Butter London nail foundation, then two thin coats, could have done one coat cause polish covered amazing but wanted a little brighter:). Two coats of Butter London Slapper then Poshe quick dry top coat. If I don't decide to change the polish for color change or new look my toe polish will last two weeks. Rarely ever chips just new growth looks tacky to me lol.

Excited to start wearing blues, whites, reds, greens, metallic colors and more for holidays. I love winter/Christmas time. Got some fashion and jewelry accessory finds to write up and post also then working on photos of the dresser I finished also my master bedroom makeover and daughter/guest bathroom makeovers:). Lots of posts to come and by this weekend will have the new contest posted with Joby nail art decals, coupon and some mini Poshe top coat and orly polishes. Enjoy pedicure pics and I have the new attachment for my phone with 3 in 1 lense just always forget it lol. It takes much clearer close up photos with micro lense and want to show you some. I used it for the Joby owl sticker close ups. Off to get some photos of my jewelry and fall/winter wardrobe additions all amazing deals from Kohl's and then my new Marc Jacobs finds from eBay will be here soon. Can't wait:)!

Joby nail art gold collection

I added one of my Joby nail art easy to apply nail decals to my ring finger on each hand as an accent along with the Essie Decadent Dish. I thought the gold would look nice with this deep burgundy/brown fall hue:).

Essie Turquoise and Caicos Joby Nail Art Tiffany inspired manicure

Posting some photos of my Tiffany inspired manicure I did using Essie turquoise and Caicos nail polish along with the amazing Joby Nail Art decals. I got some amazing variety of Joby decals and been using them a lot! They are super cute and easy to apply. Love them an recommend them to everyone, I get lots of compliments and comments about them:). Everyone thinks they are painted on.

These super cute bows have rhinestones in some of them in the middle of the bow. I will be posting many more photos including ones with all the nails done using the decals. I use tweezers to apply them once my polish is dry, make sure it is dry cause if it is wet it leaves and indent which isn't pretty. Then I apply a top coat and it looks almost seem less like it was painted on. They stay on as long as your polish and remove very easy with polish remover.

I applied base coat of Sally Hansen's maximum growth nourishing base coat. Then three coats of the Essie Turquoise and Caicos cause two coats was still looking streaky in spots. I also have china glaze for Audrey that is a Tiffany inspired turquoise but that also is streaky to apply. Wanted something a little different so went with the Essie polish this time. After the coats dried I applied two decals one of each now with a rhinestone from the Joby collection and then topped all nails with a top coat of Out The Door, my favorite along with Poshe.

I just wanted to take a minute to write a quick post about my blog. I started blogging a little over a year and a half ago. I was starting a baking business and event party planning company. I wanted a way to show off my work and write about the products I loved using for my events and baking. I later started surfing on pinterest a lot and got big into crafts and refinishing furniture so I started blogging about that. Then being a woman I am always sampling beauty products, gadgets and home decor/products so I started writing about my favorite products, deals and sales I would come across.

I started this blog specifically for beauty products like hair, makeup, nailpolish and nail techniques I found on pinterest. I also always had people asking me where did you get this or what is that scent in your home. I realized a lot of people just like me google about products and read reviews. Also that many love to try out new products etc.

I am always signing up for sample programs like Birchbox, glossy box, qvc test tube, julep nail club etc. I love to try new products and share what I love and then also let people know what I don't care for. It's all opinion bit I enjoy sharing and reading other blogs also.

I love to share sales, coupons and deals with others cause I love to get a tip on something I can get for below retail or free sometimes. Being a stay at home mom with no full time income of my own I am always searching for sales and deals. I rarely buy anything for full price or without a coupon or code. Even when I order something or purchase something my kids need I hit the Internet and look for deals, coupons or Internet codes to save even if I just get free shipping that saves me money which then excites me lol.

It is hard to start a blog and gain followers. I started my baking blog and even after almost two years I get lots of views but have a handful of followers. One day I would love to have a successful blog that is followed by many. It is a work in progress for me but I am always looking for followers and I am always getting new products to sample and review. I would love for people to follow my blog and recommend more things you would like to see or how to get more interest in my blog. I follow a lot of fellow bloggers and I really enjoy reading about others experiences with sales, products etc.
