OPI DS Extravagance vs Zoya Aurora

I found my Zoya Aurora and did the comparison. Just from the bottles I could tell they were close but not exact. Close enough that someone does not need to own both. The Zoya is a lighter purple and the glitter is more holographic looking, way more sparkly:). I would recommend the Zoya Aurora hands down.

The OPI Designer series is also very nice it is a deeper purple and has the glitter effect just not as bright or sparkly as the Zoya.

I tried to do a side by side comparison on same hand but is very hard with lighting then I use my phone for pictures still. Really need to start using my new camera more:). I will say that the OPI only needs one coat, it is amazing coverage in one coat. The Zoya needs two for sure. Then the Zoya looks super shiny without the top coat but the OPI needed a top coat to bring at the sparkle in the glitter.

Check out the photos and let me know what you think. I say close enough to only need to have one or the other bug not an exact duplicate. More to come because tonight I started doing a comparison and inventory of all my polishes. I will have a blog sale and contest coming up soon. Have a few indie colors I will be selling so keep an eye out, Lynnderella fans let me know I have several I don't use I just swatched them, not a fan of thick glitter to hard to remove then ruins my nails. Good night everyone;)

Butter London Slapper pedicure

Paint my toe nails a couple times a week sometimes usually Monday or Tuesday then sometimes on Friday if I am going out and want the polish to match shoes or outfit. I go for a pedicure at salon every two weeks but mostly just for the scrubbing and cleaning up usually get clear polish sometimes a French cause I don't usually keep the color cause I like to paint my own. I have over two hundred polishes of my own so I always have a color I want to try or something that looks amazing with shoes or an outfit.

This past weekend I went for turquoise color by Butter London called Slapper. I haven't worn this color yet but love it. I like bright, dark or bold colors and sometimes settle for a French but more natural looking French not pink cause I have a foot fetish always like my toes to be seen and living in Florida I wear a lot of flip flops and sandals.

I applied a base coat of Butter London nail foundation, then two thin coats, could have done one coat cause polish covered amazing but wanted a little brighter:). Two coats of Butter London Slapper then Poshe quick dry top coat. If I don't decide to change the polish for color change or new look my toe polish will last two weeks. Rarely ever chips just new growth looks tacky to me lol.

Excited to start wearing blues, whites, reds, greens, metallic colors and more for holidays. I love winter/Christmas time. Got some fashion and jewelry accessory finds to write up and post also then working on photos of the dresser I finished also my master bedroom makeover and daughter/guest bathroom makeovers:). Lots of posts to come and by this weekend will have the new contest posted with Joby nail art decals, coupon and some mini Poshe top coat and orly polishes. Enjoy pedicure pics and I have the new attachment for my phone with 3 in 1 lense just always forget it lol. It takes much clearer close up photos with micro lense and want to show you some. I used it for the Joby owl sticker close ups. Off to get some photos of my jewelry and fall/winter wardrobe additions all amazing deals from Kohl's and then my new Marc Jacobs finds from eBay will be here soon. Can't wait:)!

Nail haul, more nail mail and freebies

Yay! I have been receiving a lot of the orders I placed for polish of eBay, copious, amazon and some other sites. Then I have started nail buddies, similar to pen pals but nail pals. Find someone else who lives in another state, make wish list and either trade or have a deal of either a price or polish amount to send each month. If anyone is interested in being nail pals comment or message me we can set up something. If you are like me I love mail I will even do samples of hair and makeup products, items I make we can make it fun. Im open. As of now I have one nail buddy.

I also have a friend I grew up with who owns a salon/spa in New York and her sister works for sephora. They told me they were going to a trade show and some fashion events that I could make a wish list or just let then know what I wanted then they would send me some products. I had no idea what I was going to get. Thought maybe a couple things I came home to two boxes. I got a bunch of Zoya, OPI, Orly, Posche top coats, removers, files, perfume samples, bb blow dry cream samples, new shadow brushes, (I love cosmetic brushes), lip glossess, blotting pads, tweezers, nailart brushes omg. I can't even tell you.

Some of my favorite products are Murad facial cleanser and toner the full line of facial care products. I got cleanser, toner, acne spot treatment. Moisturizer and SPF moisturizer. I have some recent purchased ones but my preteen daughter has started breaking out she asked for pro active but it dries out skin, she is just hormonal doesn't need something so harsh so my lucky little girl got cleanser, moisturizer and spot treatment. Also I gave her a double ended black and brown eye liner pen cause she loves eyeliner. I don't use eye pencils I use a brush and shadow for my eyeliner. My little one for a cool sephora stackable lip gloss this is actually super cool and would make great gifts for young girls my 12 year old was mad. She got way more but I give the baby lipgloss and a couple perfume samples and she was mad lol. I have to make sure they both get something and my little one loves fragrances and lipgloss.

Below posting some photos of what I have gotten since my last post then a few swatches of polishes and my recent manicure I did tonight, which is now on my top ten of favorite polishes. It's Dior Purple Revolution, it is so dark looks black in pictures but it's a deep gorgeous purple.

Hoping to build my polish rack this week. I need to get my polishes organized where I can color organize them so I can see what I need and don't need. I am planning a blog sale or posting some on my online store soon.

Enjoy my photos. I have to try to finish my wreaths and fall/Halloween crafts tomorrow, then have some jewelry orders to fill. Working two events one is a birthday party and the other is a promotional event for halloween. I have a lot on my plate and I am dying to write a guest blog entry for a instagram pal so I can get more exposure.

Please if you follow my blog help me out share my link on your Facebook or you can post a link for one of my contests:) I would be so grateful.

Here are my photos and next up blogging about hair care products then a self home tanner review and the best or favorite picks of mine.

I am blogging from my phone so I can't post comments under photos so I will try to get on laptop that way Incan post names of nail polish and other products. That way you know what is what if you see something you like.

Jelly sandwich manicure

Today I was home with my little one who is sick again:(. Going to school made her get the horrible cold again just this time it seems worse. Hopefully she will heal quick cause her birthday is this Sunday.

I decided cause a girlfriend of mine did a jelly sandwich on her nails and sent me photos so I have been wanting to do this, did a sample on fake nail this weekend but had free polish so was waiting. I used china glaze ride the waves a beautiful bright blue. I applied a base coat, then two thin coats of ride the wives. Then I made my own middle coat. Wanted something with glitter and small hex flakes then some small sparkles so I used my dollar tree stars, small hexs and then disco ball silver glitter coat. Waited forever for that to dry.

After a long drying period I applied a no even coat of ride the waves and let dry again. Topped off with clear coat then there it is my jelly sandwich. Look forward to doing more like this and interested to see how long before the sparkles and hexs peel off cause being a mom of two I am always chopping my nails doing lots of interesting tasks lol.

Here are my photos. I am hopefully going to Disney this weekend and have some cute ideas using my Cinderella looking julep blue with a pink shimmer over top. My princess manicure. Stay tuned. Also want to do a post on birthday freebies with links to the sites cause I got lots of free food, beauty products and coupons for my birthday yesterday. What girl doesn't love free goodies:). Yay:) Have a great evening and enjoy the photos please excuse my cuticles been cleaning all day and didn't have time to clean them up:(.

Sally steals on sale

This week started back to school for my girls so in the am I'm up super early and dressed to drop them off. I drop off my youngest at 9 so I have till 11:30 to pick her up and that means time to kill so I have been going around browsing stores.

I have found some amazing deals at TJ Maxx, Marshall's and Sally's this week and a cool find at the Dollar Tree to share.

Starting off with Sally's, Tuesday morning I ran into Sally's waiting for TJ Maxx to open and they have a ton of China Glaze, Orly and other brands marked down. Some are 3.50, 2.49 and 1.50 then you get 50% off that price plus I have some Sally's credit and points. Tuesday I got a gorgeous green figured since fall is coming stock up on some darker fall colors. The color is Agro and has a metallic sheen to it. I did a mani that day using that color and Nicole by OPI Not a Gold bigger. Look good together:)

Today I decided to swing by the Sally's by my house cause they always have a huge selection and mark down newer colors too when they have been on shelf awhile. This was an ultimate score and where I used my Sally's credit. I got For Audrey, one of my top favorite colors cause it is a Tiffany blue and what girl doesn't love the color blue on the Tiffany's box:). It was 1.50 then 50% off so .75! I also got china glaze Harvest Moon, great fall color a metallic rust color, Stone Cold a dark Gray with silver metallic shimmer, I love darker colors, Luxe and Lush which has iridescent flakes looks like snow:), and one of my new favorites Full Spectrum this one has multi colored sparkle and glitter. I also got a small bottle from Finger Paints in hip hip hue ray which is a solid white with skinny brush for nail art:)!

Earlier in the week I scooped up two packages of nail art 8 mini bottles that have glitters, flakes and even shapes in them for added little accents. I have seen these at beauty stores and on the beauty nail aisles for a few packets well over 5.00 up to 12.00. For eight mini bottles it is a dollar! I ran by the dollar tree by my Sally's this am to grab the rest cause they have six different packets with different styles and of course they were all sold out but decided to run to the dollar tree by sedanos they always have what I'm looking for and picked up the rest. You know what this means? Lots of nail photos from mani and pedis to come:)

Posting photos of beauty finds and then my quick mani I did with the green and gold:) Enjoy and I will be posting some cute purses, clothes and other deals I found at TJMaxx and Marshall's shortly:). Hope you have a great weekend and excited my birthday is Monday can't wait:).
