I was trying to pick a color for date night tonight and also looking to find a pretty pink or red for valentine's day.
From thumb to pinky I swatched Julep Joan, pointer finger is the disappointing matte drying "so called" holo silver from Julep Rebel, then Julep Rose from my mystery box, please excuse the bubble had cotton on finger nail still but was swatching quick and then ring finger is OPI DS Reserve and pinky is Julep Petra.
My favorites were of course OPI Reserve, Julep's Joann and Petra:). The Rebel holo looked very flat maybe with a top coat it would shine but wasn't like any of my other holo polishes. Julep Rose is pretty but like shimmery shades right now:).
I decided to go with Julep Joann let hubby pick and he said eithe Joann or Petra were his two favorites:). May use the OPI next. Julep polish usually chips on me with a day or two. I decided to try Seche top coat forgot how awful it smells very toxic fumes. Will see if my opinion changes at all. Wanted to try the julep poly topcoat but didn't have time for polish to dry then top coat to dry needed quick very busy today:).
Enjoy photos let me know what you think or like:).
Happy Saturday

OPI DS Extravagance vs Zoya Aurora
I found my Zoya Aurora and did the comparison. Just from the bottles I could tell they were close but not exact. Close enough that someone does not need to own both. The Zoya is a lighter purple and the glitter is more holographic looking, way more sparkly:). I would recommend the Zoya Aurora hands down.
The OPI Designer series is also very nice it is a deeper purple and has the glitter effect just not as bright or sparkly as the Zoya.
I tried to do a side by side comparison on same hand but is very hard with lighting then I use my phone for pictures still. Really need to start using my new camera more:). I will say that the OPI only needs one coat, it is amazing coverage in one coat. The Zoya needs two for sure. Then the Zoya looks super shiny without the top coat but the OPI needed a top coat to bring at the sparkle in the glitter.
Check out the photos and let me know what you think. I say close enough to only need to have one or the other bug not an exact duplicate. More to come because tonight I started doing a comparison and inventory of all my polishes. I will have a blog sale and contest coming up soon. Have a few indie colors I will be selling so keep an eye out, Lynnderella fans let me know I have several I don't use I just swatched them, not a fan of thick glitter to hard to remove then ruins my nails. Good night everyone;)

Thank you to all my new followers..
I am so excited to log on to the computer today and see that I have gotten some new followers. It hasn't been easy. I have no idea how some people have over 100. I have a facebook page for my baking and I have over 250 likes/fans. That was easier cause all my friends would post a link and people would check out my work and then like my page. Helped me get a lot of exposure and business. I have considered a fb page for my blog maybe that would help get me more exposure also.
I would have contests on my fb page for a certain # who ever was that number would win free cakes, cupcakes or gift certificates and it worked amazing. That is why I have started having giveaways and contests on here. I hope to catch other bloggers attention then hope that they will share the contest or my link on their blogs and also I would love some advice on ways to get more followers. It is hard cause I blog about so much. With my business blog it is all cakes, baking, recipes, party and event planning stuff then home decor. I started this blog cause of my love for shopping, finding amazing deals on designer products from beauty, fashion to things for my kids and home. I love reading other blogs and checking out pinterest.
I am so excited to have any new followers it makes me super happy. I hope the list continues to grow and more people start to enjoy my finds, photos, nail and beauty product reviews etc. I love reading other blogs so I hope some of you are enjoying mine also. Good luck to everyone who entered the contests and I promise I will continue to have them, the prizes will change from beauty products, to home products, jewelry I make, crafts and more.
Thank you again and you have no idea how much it means to me=)
