Radiate Positive vibes, Boho Circus

                                          BohoCircus

// One of my favorite new sites, they also have a page on Etsy and link is in their IG profile @Bohocircus make sure to check out their sister store @arosyoutlook. ✌️Also you can now click on the above link to take you directly to the site.

BohoCircus is a great shop I found on Instagram and after checking out their Etsy store the first time,  I was ordering my first tank. I collect graphic tees and already owned a gypsy and wanderlust tank with the definition, once I saw their Bohemian definition tank or tee, had to order one. Their customer service is amazing and the ladies are very kind. They also have another store called A Rosy Outlook. Tha store has lots of Texas tees and items. I emailed them to thank them and let them know how much everyone loved my new tank, also sent a photo of myself wearing the tank paired with a cute black and white skirt. They messaged me back and asked what other tee or tank I was interested in and size, within a week I had a package on my doorstep. I am always so excited and grateful, for years of blogging I read all these reviews and everyone was always getting all these free samples and sponsors to send them items, it took me awhile but now thank to social media it is a lot easier to find new shops and it also helps to have a lot of followers on your social media and blog. I am always so honored and grateful whenever someone sends me a new item to try or wear for my social media. It is great for the stores and brands, along with being great for me. I love to support and help new shops, brands and designers show off their amazing good as well as help them get more exposure. I remember my first samples back when I started from hair product and beauty product companies along with some of my first tee shirts and apparel items. I also would get gift cards for stores and would have a challenge for my bargain shopping to spend under a certain amount but be able to get the most for the money, that was always fun. The ladies from Boho Circus and A Rosy Outlook not only made me so happy sending me two tees, one Gypsea tee and then I was most excited about the Texas Road trip, or Welcome to Texas map tee. I told them about our trip and they were so kind to not only send me the tee shirts but to tell me of all kinds of cool boutiques and shops I could stop at while in Texas. They are so inspiring and awesome. I have since ordered more items and plan to order more pieces for when I get back, I want to get some home decor pieces as well as I feather love bag, I love feathers.

Tee from @Bohocircus on Instagram or BohoCircus online.

Shorts are by Machine jeans and were purchased for $10 plus promo code so ended up being $7-8 on Wetseal.com.

I ❤️ this photo and the light radiating the positivity and good vibes around me. I have never been at such a great place in my life where I not only know myself better than ever but I have really accomplished and battled through so many obstacles in life to come out so strong and with such a kind heart, full of love and positivity. Good vibes are the bet feeling ever and I hope to continue down this road well into my 40's.
  //  Above photo I am wearing a
necklace by Lacey Ryan, it is from her collab with Maurices.com. Love this silver rhinestone necklace with horn. It's gorgeous and wear it often. Another fabulous and talented designer who has been so kind to me. I really am blessed to have met and connected with so many strong, creative, inspiring and empowering woman. The feather is a charm my hubby got me because I love feathers off eBay.

Shoes are white converse I got new off eBay, in the box still for $20. Great deal.

Bracelets are Lokai classic, blue and camo. Visit them on IG @Livelokai.

Will be adding the links when we get back from vacation, hoped or thought I would have time but haven't been busy on this trip even at night. Having a great time.

My evening look is a camo tank from Walmart. Only cost $3.

Vest was from Marshall's awhile back always love vests or cardigans now kimonos the passed couple years for wearing over tanks and tees. Necklace was from Tillys and the skirt is Urban Outfitters. I have two because it's so awesome. Has side pockets with tie strings and side slits. Rocks totally ✌️. Comfy and stylist.

My bag is from JCrew.com. It's a black with tan inside, large tote bag. Great for vacation fits my wallet, camera, sun block, hat, sunglasses, reading glasses and what ever the kids decide they don't want to carry or wear lol. Also items we buy while adventuring. Love it.

My new hair color is called the Rose Gold Ombre. It's a blonde, peach, coral, orange and reddish gold tone color, using Pravana brand hair dye, which is the best for vibrant long lasting fun colors. Mixed with Olaplex for the stripping or removal of previous color than using a treatment on after dying and a at home conditioner my hair has never been healthier. I started using Pravana over four years ago before that used Paul Mitchell ink and other brands mixed to produce the colors but never lasted as long or were as vibrant. The Olaplex treatments I started after the holidays and only used the olaplex either when removing or stripping or after color. Only recently since spring have I been using the three step treatments and they have changed my color game. Before I always had to worry about removing color or lighting my under neath darker or brighter shades, would usually have damage and was always having to cut my hair but luckily now my hair is passed my mid back and healthier than ever. Love it. I also don't shampoo I use a conditioning cleanser by Matrix similar to Wen hair care, plus only use once a week at the most trying to go as long as I can between washes, I don't use flat irons or hot tools expect a curling iron here and there or when I got it done had it blow dried straight because I have been wearing natural for awhile. I have very strong hair, that with stands a lot of coloring and stripping or bleaching, as well as course, thick and curly hair. I am blessed by the hair God's to have very thick and strong hair. Love pravana color and Olaplex. I truly love my new color and haven't had this many compliments since last summer and the summer before when I went to my orchid and purple ombré then the purple lavendar ombré last summer. The blue was fun and loved th mermaid locks but loving my new lighter and brighter colors. I get stopped so many times when we are out asking for photos, where I got it done and what colors were used it's amazing. Love to inspire others to be brave and bold with their hair color. We only live once and color is so fun along with a great way to express your inner creative and wild child. I always tell ladies of all ages and stages in life that anyone can rock it just have to find what works for you. I have not been brave enough to dye from root to tip in awhile but I am over 3/4 color and only a 1/4 blonde bow most of my hair is pravana. Starting with a light peach then fading into a coral, then light orange and bright orange to finish off with a reddish shade almost strawberry blonde but funkier on the ends. The vibrancy and shine is stunning.

Be sure to check out the new online boutique I am collabing with they had a sale tonight for happy hour with 30% off using code HH30. Not sure if it's over yet was from 6-7 I believe check them out please and be sure to follow. Great bohemian style and fashion. Their Instagram is @BohemianVibeBoutique and they have the best boho chic and gypsy inspired clothing. Also be sure to check out the one of kind accesories and jewelry, one of my favorite Adam Rabbit has some pieces on their website. Love the agate slice bangle. Gorgeous and plan to order one for my collection after vacation.

Wanted also to say thank you so much, was notified the other day my blog has reached an all time steady high in numbers for daily, weekly and monthly views. I usually get a lot of high numbers but have had some of my highest numbers ever especially in two years this year, including three consecutive months of amazing views, comments and more. Means so much to me that my blog I started for fun really is enjoyed my so many. I hope to only better it more now that I have some collaborations, brands I am rep'ing for along with many people sending me samples. Plus now that I work in the fashion industry full time as a professional stylist and curator I am able to bring you even more fun fashion stuff. Going to have a behind the scenes photo shoot post coming up for a local swimwear designer and her shoot for her website coming up, and much more. I am super excited and happy. I really am such a grateful and humble person so to have this blog be doing so good makes me so happy. Xoxo love you all ❤️✌️

Melissa

PS I am away till the 22 and once I return home I will be finishing with editing the blog as of 2015 with adding all new clickable links, and photos. Also I will be adding more reviews, going to have a review only tab, photos tab or style look book tab, deals and bargain shopping tips as well as links to press, media and other guest spots I have done on other blogs, pod casts, and magazine features. Excited to share. I have a review I wrote for Miami swim week on swim wear and the Triangl bikini that is in a local magazine as well as on their blog and a feature in the Miami Fashion review. I will have a press, media and editorial feature page added also. My goal was to launch a new blog but don't want to lose followers or confuse anyone so going to just make some adjustments and additions to the page. Hoping to really fix it up and now that I am able to with my new MacBook hubby got me, excited to show all of what I have learned as well as features for my new spot working a Silver Jeans Ambassodor, collabs with Boho Circus, Bohemian Vibe Boutique, Mandee's, some amazing jewlery designers and four different tee shirt designers that I am going to be debuting some exclusive designs for. Over the moon happy to share all of this with everyone. Also will have more Triangl stuff, have several new suits waiting besides my Brigette Moondance and some dupes, then some higher end inspired suits to compare for everyone. If you love the Triangl suits you will find a style you love in your price range. Don't forget to check eBay. I won two off eBay under $50 brand new that people ordered and didn't fit with tags and box. Remember look around before taking the plunge if you are younger or on a budget, you can have high end designer stuff without breaking the bank trust me. I am not rich by any means and I have loads of clothing and designers, I have a love for high end clothes but I don't spend a lot I shop savvy and love to save. Have a great one and thank you again my eyes swell up with gratefulness and pride over everything good coming from my blog, job, and social media. I am so blessed and thankful. Peace and love always. XOXO ✌️❤️

Instagram OOTD shots

I am so sorry I have not had time to post a article. I need to write up my review for the shots for summer along with another update on my waist cincher but have been so busy. The job has me working like crazy. I am now working for the company that hires and contracts out the stylists for the magazines and shoots as well as got promoted to a stylist and curator. It is exciting and sad I can only do this for a couple months because I do not work during the summer. It is a time to spend with my kids and I never let any job interfere with my time with my girls.

I was hired by the magazine as a assistant to the lead editor for the fashion section and magazine but then she loved my wardrobe and had asked me to help styling shoots. After my second time assisting the stylists the head of the company approached me and asked me if I would want to work for them. I was so overjoyed but felt bad leaving my boss at the magazine, she urged me to take the position and told me she saw it in me from the first interview. I have been working like crazy basically taking my girls to school and heading downtown to the office, I spend my days going through racks of clothes, boxes of shoes, bags and accesories it is amazing. I get to see all the newest lines from the designers before they are even released to the public, it has it's perks. Curating is also a blast getting to pick my favorite pieces and put them together for looks, I was sk nervous at first because some of the stuff isn't my style but I quickly was getting the hang of it and even though it isn't my style it have learned I have an eye for styling for sure. It has felt great to get so many compliments and have everyone tell me they can not believe I never did this before or thought of being a stylist. I have always thought my style was more laid back and stay at home, mom look lol but I have been told that I have an amazing sense of style and that my look is very unique.

I already let me boss know I won't be able to work the summer and she has begged me to at least consider being on call for jobs and made me promise I would come back in the fall for fashion week. I would love to and I am really considering it. Again for me this is a dream job not so much cause it was my dream job because I never pictured myself doing this or set out to have a job like this but now that I have done it I absolutely love it and it comes so natural for me. I am way better at styling them writing lol, that's for sure.

Anyways, since I don't have this blog linked with my ig wanted to share some of my own outfits from the passed couple weeks. I am working on the new blog and it will have way more stuff like a link to my IG account which will be a fashion and blog exclusive account for photos just for here. I also will have links, more reviews and a lot more photos. I am off to pack we are going to Rockville tomorrow for a weekend of live bands. It's Florida's version of coachella for rock music and can't wait. Enjoy my photos and have a great weekend. Next week I will work my best to get the reviews up for several shops, wardrobe pieces, my cincher update and the shorts for summer reviews. Thank you for your patience and loyalty ❤️✌️

End of the week styles.

Quick post before bed to end the week with my outfits for Wednesday through today, Friday the 13th. Got my hair colored today and willl post a quick preview of how it came out at the end. I will have much better photos this weekend. These photos were taken at night with poor lighting. It always looks better in sunlight. I love it, the colors are so bright and vibrant. I stayed with the purple and blue tones but added more of the neon and pastel blue so that it doesn't look so dark. I also colored higher up on my top layer so now the underneath is three shades of blue and then the purple pravana from the vivids line. The blues I have are pastel, neon and vivid shades. The top layer had some purple and orchid that had faded to a light almost pastel pink. Now I have the neon and pastel blue also for a more ombré look, which looks teal and royal blue. Really happy with how it looks. My hair feels soft and looks shiny which is honestly amazing with all the coloring I have done the passed six years or longer. If you like cool and fun hair colors check out some of my older posts with hair photos. I am always changing my color, I have been in love with hair dye since I was 15. Being blonde makes it easy to be any color you want, also been using the new Olaplex system in my hair my passed few visits and won't color or bleach my hair without it. What an amazing product. Moving along,,,

Here are my outfits from Instagram posts for the rest of the week. Monday and Tuesday are in the previous post.

Wednesday

All ❤️ NOH8 from the NOH8 campaign. Love this tee. Paired it with a cute pair of LA Idol black capri length jeans.

The Wander Full Great Smoky Mountains were calling me on Thursday and we are going to be heading there next week. Super excited. This cute tank is from Old Navy along with the gold long pineapple necklace.

Button down long sleeve tee with pineapples is from Target I got it on clearance last year, and the shorts are yellow JCrew chino shorts. Super soft and my favorite chino style shorts. I also have this same pattern tank top from Target and a cute cream with gold foil pineapples from Old Navy to match the necklace perfect.

Today before my hair appointment I threw my hair in braids since it was raining and I was about to get it colored, I didn't sleep good last night due to my hubby working the midnight shift and being sick with a really bad head cold I suddenly came down with on Monday. No matter what I was not missing my appointment today. Always so excited to get my color done. Really didn't want to wear anything that could end up ruined from bleach or hair dye so figured I would wear some older clothes.

I picked an old tee from Marshall's by Lucky Brand, this cute worn looking black tee says "Don't feed the hipsters" with a bear. Since the salon is always cold and it was raining decided to wear my leopard print cardigan from Kohl's by A Byer. Jeans are by American Eagle and are the super skinny stretch in dark wash. I rolled them up for a cropped look so the bottoms didn't get wet in the rain and threw on some cute leopard print reef sandals from Macy's.

Hope you enjoyed my end of the week outfits, most of the items are older pieces I have had except for the NOH8 vneck tee which I purchased back in January online. Hope everyone had a great week and has a fabulous weekend. Xoxo ✌️❤️

I didn't forget here are a couple peeks at my hair, and promise to post better photos over the weekend when I have time to curl it and take some good shots.

A little collage of some quick shots I snapped. Hard to see all the pretty colors and contrast.

Here it is all pulled forward so you have some pieces peeking through that are from the back. Underneath is purple, dark blue and neon blue, then the top layer in the back is neon blue and pastel blue which gives a teal color when blended. Then you will also see some purple and pink left over from my ombré over the summer with the shades of purple and pink.

My hair stylist uses Pravana color for my hair. Today I had some color applied to my roots to lighten and then she added these three colors. The middle bowl is a blend of pastel blue a neon blue, then you have the vivids purple and neon blue.

Can't wait to post more photos with better lighting so you can really see how pretty the colors are and the contrast.

Enjoy and thank you for passing by. Remember life is too short for boring hair if you have been considering adding some fun color to your hair go for it. We only live once and it's just hair, it will grow out or you can always dye it back. Start small with some highlights or the underneath, maybe a thin layer and if you like it you can gradually do more. I highly recommend going to a salon because I have colored my hair at home, the color they sell at Sally's and other stores doesn't last long. Usually washes out or fades right away. Also I do not recommend bleaching your hair at home unless you have experience and help. I have colored hair for many years and still wouldn't do my own hair alone without someone to help with hard to reach areas. It's worth the extra money to get good quality hair dye that will last and someone with experience so you don't fry or ruin your hair. You can also by hot heads brand extensions in fun colors that are easily applied with a thin medical grade tap, no glue and they don't ruin your hair. They are also washable, reusable and you can style with flat iron or curling iron. They have small ones my salon sells for $5-7 each and I have a few wider ones I got for $10 each. You can google hot head extensions to read more about them. I have blonde ones in my closet I wore when my hair was short for a wedding, saving in case I ever want to add some length. Luckily my hair is really long, I cut off two to three inches today which was hard because I loved the length but needed it. Again can't rave enough about the Olaplex, balyage system. They have three steps one for adding to the bleach or color to lift your hair without burning or damaging which means you can now achieve the lightest shades possible. Second step is added to your hair after coloring to condition and seal the hair leaving it healthy and shiney. Then they have a third step to use at home. It works wonders and has improved my hair so much. I noticed a difference the first use, and keeps getting better. Trust me I strip and bleach often to achieve these bright vibrant colors because you have to have a white base. Google it for sure and ask your stylist it can be pricey but depends on the salon. I am lucky to have several friends with their beauty license and get it at retail. Paid $85 from the salon for a small amount and $30 for the third step but now pay way less at the beautician's cost. Having pretty cool hair isn't cheap or easy but thanks to pravana and my Olaplex I can have it. Okay I am off to bed, good night all... Sorry if any typos late and didn't sleep good last night. Bless you all ✌️❤️

Day to evening tee shirts

Wanted to show a quick day to evening, office to weekend, styling with a cute tee I purchased from Style Latelty. I am always wearing tee shirts and tank tops then I have fun dressing them up or down with jeans, or skirts etc.

I think tee shirts have always been my biggest wardrobe item next to jeans and cardigans. I also have tons of sandals and flip flops because I live in south Florida. When I was in high school I was known as the jeans and tank top with flip flops girl, was always my style and when it wasn't really hot outside would be tee shirts, usually band tees. I have always been big into rock or heavy metal music.

Below are a couple examples of how you can take the same cute basic tee with a cute saying or graphic then dress it up or down. This took me a few minutes to run in my closet and grab a couple items, I could put together much more detailed and cuter things for sure but just wanted to do something quick.

Let me know what you think. I think you will be tee obsessed like me, if you aren't already very quick.

Girl Boss tee from Style Lately, Green military style jacket with detachable fur collar I got from American Eagle a few years ago but you can find similar styles everywhere the army military look is back in again. I have always loved camo, army green and tan along with my love for skulls and ripped jeans or studs lol. For me it is always in style. The pants I have had for a long time also they are great cargo style camo pants with an amazing fit, found them at Dillard's and are made by Fire Jeans, the back has Asian style writing where the tag would be.

This is the same cute tee from Style Lately, paired with a cute AB blazer from Macy's, and a pencil skirt from Express. The necklace I added in to show a more dressed up, evening look. The necklace is from Kohl's and is made by Rock & Republic.

Here is a cute side by side and keep in mind you can always take layers off to give a more casual look or add more layers like jewelry, scarf and accessorize with boots, heels and a cute bag to change it up. I didn't put a lot of time into this wanted to show that it can be next to effortless to get a cute look with a simple tee in minutes. Also with basics most of us fashion lovers have already in our closets or homes.

Hope you enjoyed this. Be sure to check out style lately for cute tanks, tees and more. Below is another tank top I got with this tee that is super cute and says Not High Maintenance. Can't wait to wear these out and will for sure post photos here and on Instagram.

Enjoy your week.

Shopping finds for October

I found some amazing things at Marshall's, TJ Maxx and on eBay at Last Call from Neiman Marcus:). I got a ton of new workout gear and clothes, way to much to how. I had a lot when I signed up a month ago but have literally lost 18 lbs or more and body is transforming amazing. I had to get smaller bottoms and some slightly smaller tops. Luckily my girls don't shrink much when I lose weight, I am lucky to be gifted in that department, Ty God lol.

I also got some new sweaters and jackets. Posting my favorite and best finds. One is a Juicy hoodie that I paid thirty six dollars for at Neiman Marcus on sale:). Love it has bling and is neutral in a heather gray to go with everything. I also got this amazing Michael Kors cream sweater got 48 on sale at Last Call:). It is baggy and looks great with a tank underneath, perfect for the not so cold south Florida weather.

I also found this young, fabulous an broke tie dye skirt that can also be worn as a dress at Marshall's for 24.99 was 150 or more retail. I love it:). I got some Juicy boots similar to Uggs with animal print fur, I love animal print and they also have Juicy in silver sequins across the back, these were 54 at Marshall's and were 98 to start for the Marshall's price and said compare to 179. I have lots of Ugg's but I love juicy everything so I thought these were perfect to wear with my sweats on cool days when I take my girls to school.

I also got some black patent leather Tory Burch logo sandals on eBay for 50 and some cute coral sandals from Marshall's for 14.99. Trying to think of some of my other finds?! I got some cute scarves at Marshall's and a couple for really cheap off eBay. I got a new Michael Kors bag but that wasn't on sale a little good job pat on the back for an amazing month in October gift for me from my amazing man:).

I am also sharing some photos of my new chandelier that hubby hung for me last week, my hand made wreath, centerpiece and front door decor. Also a cornucopia I made myself. You can see some more items I have made on my blog here or my business blog, link is at the top of my page along with at my Etsy store Dlitefulcr8tions. I have a lot of cute winter stuff coming together now that I will be posting in the week to come.

Enjoy my finds and if you have any comments or questions I always love to hear:). If you have a blog please post your link so I can check it out. Have a great week.

Sorry I post from my iPhone a lot and it shuffles photos all different ways. I always try to log on from my iPad or MacBook when I am home to edit that so bare with me:)
