Weekends We Football & Silver Girlfriend jeans...

Hello and happy Labor Day weekend, this weekend is the kickoff of college football and we have season tickets this year. Looking forward to some Fun, friends, food and football of course a few beers too.

Quickly some Friday and weekend outfits.

Spell and the gypsy, also known as Spell Designs and Spell Byron Bay, graphic tank. This Festival Fox graphic tank is a favorite, purchased back in May/June originally purchased same tank but on a S was too small for me and then it sold out. I quickly sold it and found a M that fits me perfectly. Love the feather design on back and distressed look.  My black agate beaded bracelet is handmade by the talented and super sweet Whiskey + Bone on etsy.

Paired it with my Silver Jeans Co, girlfriend jeans in dark wash. These are amazing if you have not seen my prior posts, love the fit so much ordered the pair I normally would have chosen first. I always go for the distressed and more worn finish but wanted a less distressed dark pair for work and other events. My jewelry is a spiked necklace and arrowhead bracelet from my Rocksbox that arrived this week. Loving this box and the first monthly subscription box I think is worth every penny. It's only $19.95 a month and you get unlimited jewelry rental all month. You customize your style with a survey, then add items you love to your wish list. They then style a box with 3 pieces and you can keep as long as you want or return after a few wears for another amazing set. You can purchase the pieces you like at a discounted price also. Both the necklace and bracelet are by Slate. I also got a cool ring by Kendra Scott. Will post a photo below of the box. Posted prior but just in case you didn't see.

You can use my code MELISSASBFF10 for your free month trial no strings attached and you can cancel anytime.

Promise you this box will rock your world if you love accessories as much as me.

A favorite shop I found out about from Lacey Ryan, jewelry designer. They carried a few collections by her and we don't have them near me but order online often. Saw a friend on IG rocking these rust color perforated ankle style boots, and they were on sale couldn't pass them up. Then I love Wildfox couture sweatshirts cause they are soft, light enough for Florida fall and winter then just love the cute sayings. This sweatshirt reminded me of their style tops and love the saying for fall.  Last is the turquoise accent braided belt I purchased for my new Spell folk town mid length dress for fall. Got it on eBay for under $8.

Ordered this cute graphic tee for the football games when my team isn't playing against UM, found this cute one on IG by @m.eandyou, M.E & YOU tees. Paired it here in my flat-lay with the lighter wash and distressed textured worn look girlfriend jeans I got after falling in love with my first pair. These are amazing and the fit is tailored to my body, accentuating very nicely they are so flattering on. Silver Jeans never disappoints me. Been my go to brand for over twenty years now and as you have seen in my posts I have pairs over 10 years old still looking like new, and I own many many pairs. Can't own enough pairs of amazing fit and style jeans. If you have never tried Silver jeans I recommend you try on a pair next time you are shopping you will be hooked.

Yes, weekend graphic muscle tank by Love Culture. This tank is a few years old but still rock it when the weekend rolls around, one can never have too many Friday or weekend graphic tops. I know I love Friday and the weekend. Of course converse go with everything and perfect for a football game and tailgating. Today was my babies 9th birthday and we had an amazing day. Like mama she went shopping after opening her gifts, she got games, both board games and video games, books, and toys but we went shopping she wanted clothes. She had her own style I allow her to pick out and try on whatever catches her attention. For her age she is amazing at styling her own looks. She got some amazing combat style black boots with some fringe on the front below the laces, corduroy rust skirt overalls, some total boho chic rompers, dresses, skirts and tops. She really has amazing style, she also used my $40 Kohl's cash to get the same a Cattle Skull pullover sweatshirt and Aztec style bell bottom leggings I got before my birthday, she got an adult XS and my mother in law is hemming them since they were a little too long. We will be twinning this fall for sure. Wish I could find myself a pair of boots just like hers, they are from Old Navy were under $20 with the sale for Labor Day weekend. She spent $90 at Old Navy and walked away with boots, a few dresses, romper, two skirts, shorts, and a few tops. Tomorrow she is going shopping with grandma after her football game she cheers at to spend her cash.

Hope everyone has an amazing weekend and here's to football season beginning. We have college game tomorrow and then Sunday our fantasy football draft. Can't wait to see what my team is like this year. Peace, love and light always XoXo 💋

Pam & Gela new graphic Frankie peace tank with their a line faux leather skirt. Necklace and some bangles by Rock n Republic, paired with some Alex and Ani bangles.

Love the new Pam & Gela graphic tanks every season I think they can't beat the previous seasons styles but these are my faves. Love how they not only pay attention to cool graphic designs but love the addition of edgy details like beads and rhinestones. They never disappoint.

My May Rocksbox pieces by House of Harlow 1960, Slate and Kendra Scott. You can use the code MelissasBFF10 for a free trial month. No obligation month of jewelry you can wear and return or if you love a piece you can keep them and buy. What a fun box. Love accessories they are the icing on the cake for every outfit that last detail to complete every look.

Another of my new Pam & Gela summer graphic tanks. This one has a summer vibe with the refreshing ice cream cone graphic and blinged out details in the jewelry. Paired with Miss Me pink linen shorts, eBay scored kimono, necklace is my Slate piece from Rocksbox, and Alex and Ani bracelets.

This top I have wanted since the beginning of the year when Pam & Gela released their spring collection. I was happy to be able to get it finally and on sale, always love their sales. My necklace is a two layer gold tone, triangle and Hamsa hand piece from BooHoo.com.

An outfit from my daughter's multi cultural event this week for the school. Paired this wrap style top from Maurices.com with a cream tank from Target, mom frayed bottom jeans and gold tone necklace from BooHoo.com, Floral, fringe bottom kimono from Buckle.com and of course more Alex and Ani pieces.

Some of my spring faves from Alex and Ani, their feather painted charm, my birthstone for August, and the UNICEF butterfly charm. Paired them with some colorful PuraVida Bracelets, don't forget you can use my exclusive promo code MelissaSep20 for 20% off with PuraVida.

Black Bardot, off the shoulder cropped top, and gold tone necklace by BooHoo.com worn with this denim patchwork pencil skirt from Citizens of Humanity.

Turkish coin necklace and matching bracelet I got for $10-12 for the set off eBay awhile back, worn with this sexy and comfy Pam & Gela tank dress with ruched skirt bottom. Love this dress, yes you read my description of it correctly it's not an error, this dress is both comfortable and sexy. It is made of the softest cotton, and the ruched bottom and curve hugging design really accentuate the body nice. One of my favorite things about the brand, all Pam & Gela styles are stylish, trendy, chic and comfortable.

Woke up to rare cool morning here in Florida for this time of year, grabbed out this bomber jacket I got off Poshmark for $12 love it. Ring is a bohemian silver engraved wrap ring from Bohemian Vibe Boutique.

Last outfit I will share don't want to bore you with scrolling, you can always follow me on Instagram @cr8tivewanderlust for all my daily fashion and style posts. This romper is from Target, paired with a lace kimono from PacSun and Lacey Ryan necklace.

Styles from the week

You will find all the details on the above photo below.

Wearing my new favorite distressed skinny jeans by Silver Jeans of course. The top was on sale at Pacsun and love the high slit side, shoes are camo Toms style slip on sneakers I scored last year in Jacksonville at Rockville for $5 at Walmart. Super comfy and who doesn't love camo?!

I won this cute necklace from Creationsbyacat on IG she has an Etsy store which I will be adding the link below and if you love unique handmade jewelry you will need to check out her goodies.

My Friday outfit was this top which when it arrived I was not sure about because I ordered a large and it was huge but wearing it I love that it's oversized and fits off the shoulder. Looks great with leggings or skinny jeans. I wear one of those Walmart as seen on TV Genie bras almost daily now, they are so comfy and lol good under these style tops. I also really love that they make me look smaller busted if that is even possible.

My necklace is a long horn necklace by Lacey Ryan and is from her first collection she collaborated with Maurice's, my feather is from eBay that my hubby got me and still wear it often it's become a favorite. I have a beautiful one similar but smaller with matching ring by Pandora my amazing hubby got me also which you will see I alternate them. I have so much jewelry it's insane but I love to accessorize. My jeans are by Silver jeans as well, the boots I scored at Target retailing for $39.99 I paid $24.50 thanks to a sale they had online which the manager matched for me in store. Alex and Ani bangles always. I pretty much always wear Alex and Ani with an occasional mixed in string or other bangle in same style or metal even maybe a color to match my ootd.

Wearing this top again, these two tops one in olive the other plum are on repeat. They are so comfy and cute plus they look amazing with jeans or leggings. My leggings I scored at Payless while shopping for shoes for my little one on sale for $9.99 they are thick and the colors are dark which I love.

My ring is my new favorite by Fawninginlove on Etsy. This has become my favorite jewelry shop on Etsy. She makes incredible pieces and the quality is amazing. I have never had a piece fall apart and she always responds to all my messages so kindly. She wraps everything gorgeous and really does take so much pride in her jewelry and brand. I highly recommend her and you need to head over to her Etsy store when you have some time if you love hand made jewelry because you will be in love. I have a few shops I have ordered from for some time and love them but have had issues with pieces falling apart and having to fix them myself or not hearing back from them when I have an issue. I am supportive of all shops that I purchase from and like to see them appreciate that kindness and support.

Another gorgeous Lacey Ryan necklace paired with this olive top from Fashion Junkee site. My tote is Bohemian Vibe Boutique whom I hope to work with some more in 2016.

Found this adorable fit and flare almost A line cut dress in gray, they also have red and beige. Was contemplating ordering something similar online for double the price but while Christmas shopping found these at Marshalls for $14.99. These look cute alone or with leggings, stocking, tights, tall socks and boots. I have mine paired with some tall black ruffle top socks from Tilly's and combat boots then a skull scarf and some cool jewelry.

Not sure if everyone noticed my feature on Alex and Ani's Instagram this week. I was so honored and over 10k likes. They also sent me many messages on Twitter and loved my blog post along with photos. I adore this company and may not have been a supporter since they started because they only recently became popular here last year and I don't state I was an established fan for years when I only started posting photos in the last few months. I got my first one for a gift and since most have been gifts but they are my favorite arm candy out there right now. Loved that they are made from recycled metals and made right here in the USA, then love the many cute styles plus they are the best to stack.

Another Alex and Ani stack from last week. I rarely wear all my bracelets at once maybe once in a while I like to wear a few mixed and matched.

Wish you could see the sparkle in my gel nail polish, my toes are just red but have the prettiest sparkle red nails can't keep my eyes of them they are so pretty.

Last up ending this post with my little ones pedicure and reindeer nail art had done today, she loves it and I think it's adorable.

Tomorrow we got tickets to see Star Wars at the IMAX in 3D and are having a family day but have some cool posts for more holiday gift ideas, wrapping pics, traditions and a recipe for some home made fudge then an inside look at a shoot I styled for New Years before we close out the year. My company doesn't like for us to post photos working on our personal sites but my boss gave my permission to share this one since I worked so hard. You will get to see some great New Year's Eve outfit ideas and choices if you are looking for something special to wear to a party or event.

Have a great weekend and only five days left. Enjoy that last shopping, wrapping and planing. I will be spending some Qt time with my family tomorrow and most of the week. Have some small last minute gifts or shopping to complete, a lot of wrapping because I keep buying and have packaging arriving daily and lots of baking to do. Can't wait to share some family traditions and recipes. Keep an eye out this week. Also check out my features tab for some of my latest reposts online. Been honored and grateful. Xoxo

Festive Friday Fashions

Festive Friday Fashion

Today I am sharing some styles I have recently received from Maurices.com.  I got this cute sweater skirt awhile back and had shared it here on my blog.  I have worn it a few times now and paired it with black and brown sweaters or tops.  I love this skirt it has a great fit and is excellent for the South Florida winter which isn't exactly cold, we are lucky if it is cool.

I paired it with this Camel sweater I got last year on clearance from Old Navy, a crochet fringe style scarf I have had for sometime now.  I don't remember where I got this it may have been a gift during the holidays but I know I had it back when I went to Colorado and that was around 9 years ago.  My fun Bison necklace with moon charm is by Fawninginlove on Etsy, and my gold bracelets are all Alex and Ani.  I recently invested in some new Alex and Ani pieces, I have some I have not worn yet on my posts but will be sharing very soon.

This fit and flare sweater dress is my most recent Maurices item to wear and I love this dress with leggings.  I paired it with a festive black cropped cardigan that is see through in the back and has these adorable bows on the button snaps.  My necklaces, shorter crystal is mounted in silver and by Fawninginlove, the longer one was a gift from a dear friend a few years back.  I believe she got it at a store called Dots that is now out of business in my area.  It has disco ball beads, spikes, a large heart and some crystal beads mounted on a round charm style holder.

My shoes are from Fashion Junkee and are the lace up, faux suede ballet flats I posted a few posts back.  These retail for $25 and is a great price for this style.  They are very comfortable and run true to size.  I love the lace up look and they look great with jeans, leggings, dresses, basically everything.

They really are adorable and I get so many compliments everywhere I go.  My daughter has the camel brown color, we wear the same size so we buy a lot of similar items or ones we both like in different colors or styles so we can share.  It is fun it is like having double the wardrobe.

Hope you enjoyed my fun Friday festive looks, below I have links for the exact shoes at Fashion Junkee and a link to FawninginLove on Etsy.  Below that I have the other items and some similar items to the ones I am wearing.  I think the shoes are a staple item and of course a woman can never have enough jewelry.  Off to hit the mall before I get my girls, started my Christmas shopping and need to grab some clothes along with some other items on their wish lists that I can't find at some of the spots I have hit.  I did a lot of online shopping this year with some amazing sales, promo codes and free shipping.  Can't wait for the goodies to come and wrap for under the tree.  Hope everyone has a great weekend XOXO

Lacey Ryan Fall line at Maurice's.

Last year I discovered this amazing designer from NY, her name is Lacey Ryan and she designs amazing jewelry. Every piece is so creative, unique and I love how all her pieces can be stacked, or mixed and matched. I have many pieces from her line, and from her Maurice's exclusive line. I got my first piece as a gift and once I discovered that she had a line at Maurice's I was hooked. I love that she has collaborated with Maurice's to make a line that is not only affordable but high quality also.

I love how her pieces have a bohemian look and vibe to them. My favorites are her beaded bracelet collections, and I love her long layering statement necklaces also. I have a few of her hand chains and just ordered a hand cage. I have wanted one for a while and was so excited to see she designed one for her new Fall line at Maurices.com.

Below are some of my favorites from her new line. Be sure to go to www.maurices.com. You can also follow Lacey on Instagram at @Laceyryaninc and she has a link to her website on her profile. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites, who am I kidding I love the entire line but I did try to narrow it down some. I ordered a few pieces and can't wait to wear them. Have a fabulous week, and stay tuned for some high lights this week from Ny Fall fashion week. Along with more of my favorite shops and designers this fall. Xoxo ✌️❤️

I love all the gold and bronze tones for fall along with the reds, greens and browns. Turquoise is my favorite color and stone along with tiger eye. I love how she put together this line using so many amazing tones for fall.  I own two layering necklaces and a few lariat style necklaces by Lacey Ryan and my favorite is a triple layer gold tone necklace with a bronze horn and arrowhead. I get so many compliments on it. I love that all my previous pieces I own will mix and match so well with the new line also, so then I can still wear my favorites from prior seasons but have some new pieces to freshen up my looks. Lacey Ryan really is my one of my top faves for jewelry designers. I was super excited to see all these new pieces.

Above are some of the silver and turquoise pieces I loved with one gold and turquoise piece thrown in. I don't wear a lot of earrings but I have to have these arrowhead earrings love them. Also as soon as I saw this turquoise bracelet set it went straight into my cart, I have been wanting a turquoise set by Lacey. It really was hard to only get a few pieces but I had to narrow it down because I was not planning on ordering. Hope I can scoop up more pieces next payday.

I grabbed the long lariat style arrowhead necklace, the turquoise bracelets and the hand cage, I hope to order the two layering necklace sets, tiger eye ring, and the turquoise hand chain next payday then maybe another bracelet set in browns. Be sure to check out all these items on Maurices.com.

I have to have this set above, love the tiger eye arrowhead and will match so nice with my gold tone feather earrings from her prior collection. Feathers are my favorite and again I adore her layered necklace sets this one is one of my new faves.

I love this silver ton triple layer necklace also. For $29 you can't beat it and will match amazing with the five set bracelets I ordered.

I won a gift certificate on my birthday to Stella and Dot when we went to dinner at The Melting Pot. They had a ladies night event going on and I had the raffle ticket in my napkin for a chance to spin the wheel and win a prize. I picked out a lovely silver and rhinestone triple chevron design ring, this necklace will match amazing.

I was really excited for this hand chain. Love her hand chains and cages this one has the cage style and looks amazing. Can't wait to receive it.

This is the bracelet set I went with, I own a few sets of her beaded bracelets and every one is gorgeous, like I mentioned above they also are all great for mixing and matching or stacking.

Hope you enjoyed some of my favorites from the Fall line by Lacey Ryan and Maurices.com XOXO

Gray Fall Fashion Faves..

My Fall Gray Favorites

Last fall I got a few amazing gray pieces for my closet and this fall already grabbed a few items I love and in gray. Usually I don't go back to back years loving the same styles or colors but this fall I still love gray. I love the regular burnt orange, reds, browns and neutrals but gray really is the color I am gravitating to again this fall. Last year I got some gray jeans and boots, then a great gray jacket and some gray sweaters. I already had a Michael Kors gray purse my hubby got me for my birthday so I was looking for some pieces to wear with that bag. I really loved bringing the gray shade into my wardrobe and love how it looks with black and white or adding a splash of color also.

These trends were hot off the runway all in gray tones...

This year I saw these amazing boots, they are made by Kristin Cavallari and as soon as I saw these suede and fringe boots I had to have a pair. I almost went with brown or black but honestly the gray kept standing out to me. Gray really does go with everything like black and brown, it is a neutral shade. After purchasing these boots for my birthday now I am on the lookout for other amazing trends in gray for the upcoming fall and winter seasons. I found some cute sweater dresses, skirts, jackets, flannels and more. Wanted to share a few of my favorites. Below are a few of my faves and I will be sure to add links this week to the post.

The infamous boots that called me out. As soon as I saw these in a email from an online store, I had to have them. I normally wouldn't splurge but it happened that the email came the week of my birthday and I figured why not. Last year I got a taller pair of boots at Target on clearance at the end of the season for $15 and then have a pair of Hunter boots in gray. Just cleaned all my boots off over the weekend because they tend to get dusty through spring and summer. I even parted with some pairs I haven't worn in a while since I got a few new pairs last season and at the end of the season on clearance.

I love these suede and fringe Kristin Cavallari boots. It was hard to decide on the color, they come in black and brown also, but the gray just stood out. I love the higher thin heel and again fringe is a fave of mine. Going to go great with my favorite bohemian pieces and my rocker style pieces also. Can't wait.

A collage I posted on Instagram of my favorite gray fashion pieces for the fall.

I have a couple pairs of gray jeans but I also really love white jeans. These jeans are made by Silver Jeans Co. They are the Suki Mid Skinny jeans and look amazing on. I am an ambassador for Silver Jeans and have worn this brand for over a decade. I have loved these jeans long before becoming an ambassador for the brand and was beyond psyched to become one of their brand ambassadors.

This fabulous sweater vest comes in gray and cream, it is made by Silver Jeans and can be ordered at Maurices.com. Can't wait for this to arrive ordered both colors, love sweater vests since I live in South Florida and it doesn't get very cold here. It's a great way to layer but not get to hot. I have lots of different style vests, some kimono style, sweater, or just regular cotton vests. I always love to layer my tops and vests are perfect for the warmer climate where I live.

Gray sweater dress from Maurices.com. This is another great fall or winter fashion piece for Florida climate. Light weight and knee length.

A couple of flannel button down tops I ordered from Maurices.com also. Love flannel and plaid button down tops for fall and winter. Great again for layering over graphic tees or solid tees. Like the gray accent in the flannels so they can be paired with my new boots and jacket.

This silver and blue flannel from Maurices.com is so soft and fits amazing. Love that this flannel has white, gray and blue so I can wear it with jeans, my gray pieces and the options are endless with the great color combination.

I saw this sweater skirt in this pretty Aztec style pattern and had to have it. Have so many tops that will look good with this and think it will look great with taller boots, mid boots, booties and heels. This is also from Maurices.com.

Above is my new gray Moto style jacket. I found it at Maurices.com. I looked awhile for the perfect gray jacket that wasn't priced to high. I know I won't get to wear it a ton but wanted a great jacket to wear with all my new gray pieces. I broke down and purchased a great fringe brown Pam&Gela jacket off eBay for under $175 but still expensive but was really happy with the price and fit of this jacket. The quality is also awesome. It retails for $69. Go to www.maurices.com and check out all they're amazing trendy and stylish fashions. They have the best selection of tees, tanks, jeans, jackets, dresses and accessories. Love Maurice's they have become one of my favorite new stores. So happy I discovered them last year cause since I have really gotten some amazing pieces.

Of course I have to feature a graphic tee shirt. Love this gray and white, thankful graphic tee from Sweet T's on Etsy. They have some really awesome and cute tee shirts, tanks, baseball tees (raglan) and sweatshirts. Their prices are awesome and the quality is excellent. I love graphic tee shirts and have many different brands and styles, I use to splurge and was willing to spend some crazy amounts on a really good graphic design tee or tank but recently I have really been watching what I spend and really paying more attention to quality also. I had paid some crazy prices for tees to only have them made poorly or the actual shirt being stiff or really thin. Now if I am going to not care about quality I just buy $10/15 tees from wherever but I can say there are still a few online shops I have found and etsy stores that make amazing and unique tees and tanks on high quality tee shirts. This is one of my favorites. Be sure to check them out. Their tees average $20-25.

Thank you for checking out my fall gray fashion favorites, and I will be sure to add links to each item under the photos this week. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Stay tuned have lots more to come for fall from fashion to home decor along with some fun Halloween costume ideas also. Xoxo ✌️❤️
