Styles from the week

You will find all the details on the above photo below.

Wearing my new favorite distressed skinny jeans by Silver Jeans of course. The top was on sale at Pacsun and love the high slit side, shoes are camo Toms style slip on sneakers I scored last year in Jacksonville at Rockville for $5 at Walmart. Super comfy and who doesn't love camo?!

I won this cute necklace from Creationsbyacat on IG she has an Etsy store which I will be adding the link below and if you love unique handmade jewelry you will need to check out her goodies.

My Friday outfit was this top which when it arrived I was not sure about because I ordered a large and it was huge but wearing it I love that it's oversized and fits off the shoulder. Looks great with leggings or skinny jeans. I wear one of those Walmart as seen on TV Genie bras almost daily now, they are so comfy and lol good under these style tops. I also really love that they make me look smaller busted if that is even possible.

My necklace is a long horn necklace by Lacey Ryan and is from her first collection she collaborated with Maurice's, my feather is from eBay that my hubby got me and still wear it often it's become a favorite. I have a beautiful one similar but smaller with matching ring by Pandora my amazing hubby got me also which you will see I alternate them. I have so much jewelry it's insane but I love to accessorize. My jeans are by Silver jeans as well, the boots I scored at Target retailing for $39.99 I paid $24.50 thanks to a sale they had online which the manager matched for me in store. Alex and Ani bangles always. I pretty much always wear Alex and Ani with an occasional mixed in string or other bangle in same style or metal even maybe a color to match my ootd.

Wearing this top again, these two tops one in olive the other plum are on repeat. They are so comfy and cute plus they look amazing with jeans or leggings. My leggings I scored at Payless while shopping for shoes for my little one on sale for $9.99 they are thick and the colors are dark which I love.

My ring is my new favorite by Fawninginlove on Etsy. This has become my favorite jewelry shop on Etsy. She makes incredible pieces and the quality is amazing. I have never had a piece fall apart and she always responds to all my messages so kindly. She wraps everything gorgeous and really does take so much pride in her jewelry and brand. I highly recommend her and you need to head over to her Etsy store when you have some time if you love hand made jewelry because you will be in love. I have a few shops I have ordered from for some time and love them but have had issues with pieces falling apart and having to fix them myself or not hearing back from them when I have an issue. I am supportive of all shops that I purchase from and like to see them appreciate that kindness and support.

Another gorgeous Lacey Ryan necklace paired with this olive top from Fashion Junkee site. My tote is Bohemian Vibe Boutique whom I hope to work with some more in 2016.

Found this adorable fit and flare almost A line cut dress in gray, they also have red and beige. Was contemplating ordering something similar online for double the price but while Christmas shopping found these at Marshalls for $14.99. These look cute alone or with leggings, stocking, tights, tall socks and boots. I have mine paired with some tall black ruffle top socks from Tilly's and combat boots then a skull scarf and some cool jewelry.

Not sure if everyone noticed my feature on Alex and Ani's Instagram this week. I was so honored and over 10k likes. They also sent me many messages on Twitter and loved my blog post along with photos. I adore this company and may not have been a supporter since they started because they only recently became popular here last year and I don't state I was an established fan for years when I only started posting photos in the last few months. I got my first one for a gift and since most have been gifts but they are my favorite arm candy out there right now. Loved that they are made from recycled metals and made right here in the USA, then love the many cute styles plus they are the best to stack.

Another Alex and Ani stack from last week. I rarely wear all my bracelets at once maybe once in a while I like to wear a few mixed and matched.

Wish you could see the sparkle in my gel nail polish, my toes are just red but have the prettiest sparkle red nails can't keep my eyes of them they are so pretty.

Last up ending this post with my little ones pedicure and reindeer nail art had done today, she loves it and I think it's adorable.

Tomorrow we got tickets to see Star Wars at the IMAX in 3D and are having a family day but have some cool posts for more holiday gift ideas, wrapping pics, traditions and a recipe for some home made fudge then an inside look at a shoot I styled for New Years before we close out the year. My company doesn't like for us to post photos working on our personal sites but my boss gave my permission to share this one since I worked so hard. You will get to see some great New Year's Eve outfit ideas and choices if you are looking for something special to wear to a party or event.

Have a great weekend and only five days left. Enjoy that last shopping, wrapping and planing. I will be spending some Qt time with my family tomorrow and most of the week. Have some small last minute gifts or shopping to complete, a lot of wrapping because I keep buying and have packaging arriving daily and lots of baking to do. Can't wait to share some family traditions and recipes. Keep an eye out this week. Also check out my features tab for some of my latest reposts online. Been honored and grateful. Xoxo

Weekend Wanderlust wear

I want to start off by saying, I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving holiday weekend. I had a lovely time with my family and enjoyed decorating our tree Friday. Still a lot of decorating to do with lights on the outside and little things inside but this year keeping it simple since things have been rather hectic lately. I am very excited for Christmas break with my daughters and some time to unwind without so much on my plate. I have made several New Years resolutions already for the upcoming year and really looking forward to all that is to come. Looking back on 2015 I had so many amazing experiences and memories that I can't imagine what is to come for 2016. Hopefully lots of wonderful new memories and adventures✨ I am open to just about anything new and ready to really spread my wings this year. I feel like as my children get older I am really starting to enjoy the time I have for me.  After several years of being a stay at home mom on and off, I have learned over time it is okay to make time for myself and focus on me instead of just being mom. Through this experience I have truly become happy with who I am and trust me for a couple years there I was lost trying to find out what I wanted to do, but life has this funny way of always working itself out. If things are meant to be they happen. I really believe if you are a kind and good person great things happen.  I am so grateful for all the support and kindness that has been extended to me by not just my blog readers but by the many amazing people I have met from school, work, and social media.  Now onto my weekend wanderlust and fun fashion.

Yesterday we decided to head over to a local market that has lots of booths from food, hand made items and more. I always love to visit the local markets and support local small businesses. I found some amazing gifts for the holidays along with some great produce and fresh made bread.

My Saturday look was casual wearing my Wanderlust graphic tee from Tilly's paired with some American Eagle skinny jeans with torn knees and a long knit duster I got on clearance from Pacsun. I finally broke out my canvas tote I got last spring from Forever21, last time I used this was over the summer on our family trip. I love the feather graphic and deer head pin. Canvas totes are great for taking shopping because they are light weight yet large enough to carry your purchases as well.  The gorgeous arrowhead necklace I am wearing is made by Simply Quinn's and I will post the link to her etsy shop below along with a code for 20% off for my blog readers. Bracelets are Alex and Ani then my shorter necklace was a three piece set from Pacsun.

Above these gorgeous bracelets are from Rose Gonzales designs and I actually won these off a contest she had on Instagram. I love the colors and that they can be worn mixed and matched with many of my other pieces.

On Friday we had to purchase a new fake tree for the house, it seems last year both trees we own decided to have some of the lights go out. They didn't have the feature where one light burns out and the rest stay on sadly so I had to make do last year adding a strand of lights to the areas that were burnt out. It wasn't easy to find a tree we liked, I didn't want to spend $200 but at the same time I like a full realistic looking tree. We always had real trees until we discovered my daughter was allergic and my cat decided he wanted to eat the needles. We had a gorgeous tree for our living room we got after Christmas almost ten years ago for $30 that retailed for over $200 but since we needed one right away I went with a 7.5 foot tree Walmart had on sale for Black Friday. It was only $70 and looks amazing. It isn't as wide as I like but after Christmas I hope to find one like my last one, I saw one perfect already at Walmart with clear lights for $199 hopefully they will have some left then I will use this one in my family room. We usually do two trees haven't decided if I am doing that this year since I am keeping it simple, but my family room is a smaller area and this new tree is beautiful with both white and colored lights, it would work perfect there. We plan to donate the two trees we have to families in need that don't have a tree along with some ornaments and lights. Every year we enjoy the local adopt a family holiday programs, also my girls school adopts a family for each class. I know the trees will be very appreciated by someone.

My Friday outfit was this fall graphic tee by Robby and Dee Studio on Etsy paired with my Walmart flannel, Rag and Bone elephant bell jeans and Pacsun necklace.

Above photo was taken after my daughter had applied my makeup the day before and was back to my natural self for Friday. It was awesome to see how much she knows about makeup and to have a glam look for the holiday. I really did enjoy it and I am more open to having her do my makeup in the future for fun.

After we had the tree up I decided it was time for some comfy clothes to decorate the tree so after a shower I threw on this soft vintage graphic tee with a buffalo. It is an old tee so I don't have a link for this tee but I will find some close styles for anyone who likes Buffalo/Bison as much as I do and add to the link below. I paired it with some tie dye gray sweats by Pam & Gela, love this brand. I purchase 90% off my collection off eBay then the other 10% off their site when they have sales. For Black Friday I ordered several graphic tees, a black dress, camo skirt and some more jogger style bottoms. They have the best tees and tanks. I love all their designs.
Use my link for 20% off Pam & Gela

My Tilly's floral dress with thigh/knee height slouch socks and suede black boots. Boots are Steve Madden and very old, dress and socks are from Tilly's. The necklaces are Forever21 and Blackblackmoon.

Love this dress it's cute with leggings or tall socks and boots.

I paired it with my shaggy fringe best here for a more bohemian look.

Hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend. Xoxo

( Sorry for typos I left up over night had proofed it for misspellings but did not read the entire post over and a lot of my did were turned to didn't, I recently got the new iPhone 6s plus and I am still getting use to my keyboard and auto correct is always the worse on my phone.  I am working hard to make sure typos are corrected and all posts are proof read, everyone makes mistakes.  Also I am not a writer so I try to post more photos and links lol)

My week of ootd posts

My Week of Fashion OOTD posts...

Here are some of my #ootd posts from IG and Twitter.

I found these cute tunic babydoll dresses last fall and ordered a tan one, it arrived damaged so the owner of the eBay shop was kind enough to let me keep the damage one, which I sewed the seam that was undone, and she sent me this one to replace for free.  Love when a store has amazing customer service and goes above everything to make sure their customer is satisfied.  I could not find an exact match but below found a close one in navy.  If you search Umgee Babydoll Tunic lots of styles will pop up and all different prices.

Similar design in Navy

I happened to get very lucky one day when walking the shopping plaza by my house and one of the little boutiques was having a sidewalk sale, I found my white crochet and fringe detail vest marked down for $7.99.  I tried to find a good bargain deal but had a hard time even finding this style vest.  Right now the fringe all over vests are trending, which I ordered one while searching I found for under $25 on eBay.  I saw they were trending and selling for over $35 up to $50 so grabbed one that was $22 with shipping.  Love it.

My sandals are knee high MIA black gladiators.  I had a gift certificate I won for PacSun so I scooped up two pairs of these and some feather print Converse, along with a few cute graphic tees and tanks.  I found links for the same sandals below in both brown and black.  I have a similar dress to the one above in tan and brown with a red, blue multi colored Navajo style print on the front chest area that look amazing with the brown sandals or brown boots.

My necklace I was able to find almost the exact same one at Maurices.com below

Last up my bracelet, purchased from my local Forever 21 store.  As you know their stock sells out fast and is always changing.  I could not find the same exact one, mine is a stretchy silver turkish looking bracelet with little bells on the outside.  I found this pretty etched silver bangle

My wrist party is Alex and Ani bangles, I have a retired feather bangle, the charm feather, buddha charm, monopoly dog, and pineapple charm.  I also am wearing one of my PuraVida Bracelets for a splash of color.  Be sure to check out PuraVida and use my code MelissaSep10 for a discount when checking out.  They are a great company donating money to many charities and proceeds from the sales of all the items helps employ local Costa Rican Artisans.

More Karma Less Drama tee by LeMotto.  Black and white pencil skirt from Forever 21, statement necklace for Walmart for $5, Rock & Republic heels ( best heels ever so comfortable), Alex and Ani charm bangle and heart beaded stretch bracelet, mixed with some gold plain bangles and my Juicy Couture Locket and Key bracelet that was a gift from my mom.

My gorgeous necklace is a pink agate slice from Adam Rabbit Jewelry on Etsy.  She had a $10 mystery necklace sale where you would receive a mystery necklace valued up to $30.  I have many pieces by her and love them all, this one is no exception it is beautiful.  She does not stock this exact same necklace in her shop but one of my favorite stores does have the same stone but with gold chain

My tee shirt was a special order from Girl Monday Apparel on Etsy.  They have lots of fun and humorous sayings on many styles of tees and tanks, we all know I love graphic tees and tanks.  I have found so many amazing shops that I love.

My BillaBong Women's tank is sold out at Pacsun.com, I did find them in stock in all sizes below

My jeans are Jcrew Boyfriend jeans and I have several pairs, they are one of favorite fit and style jeans I own, the distressing is just right and they fit amazing.  Also they are made of the softest denim. I do not put these in the dryer, they are washed on delicate or my steam cleaning setting then hung to dry.  Grab them while they still have some left.  I got them on sale every time and just grabbed a last pair before they are all gone.  Size down one size for good fit.

Use my code MelissaSep10 for 25% discount on all PuraVida orders

I'm a sweet disaster tank, feather kimono with pom pom trim, Hollister boyfriend jeans and Lacey Ryan necklace. Details below for items.

My tee is from Pony Show in Nashville, they have an Etsy store and I have to say all their graphic tees and tanks rock.  Love this store and love all their other vintage items also.  Great find for sure.

or some that have not read this in my previous posts, I am a Silver Jeans Co Ambassador and love this brand.  My first pair of jeans they sent me when becoming an ambassador for their brand we're these amazing Boyfriends jeans I had wanted to order for a few months.  I have over 20 pairs of Silver Jeans and the only style I didn't own were the boyfriend style.  These are now one of my favorite go to pairs of jeans whether cropped or worn ankle length.  I love them with everything I wear them with.  Check the out in the link below.

My purse is my everyday bag, I got it from the Christmas in July 50% off sale at Bohemian Vibe Boutique.  It is currently sold out and I am looking for others that are comparable.  They did have a brown in stock if you want to check the link below.  It is an amazing bag and I get compliments every day, people always think it was way more expensive.  I paid $30 for it retails for $60, best $30 I ever spent lol.  I have used it daily unless I need a brown bag or something smaller.  It comes with a wristlet style pouch that is attached to one of the straps, then has fringe detail on the sides love love love.

Above tee is also from Pony Show same link as above...

My amazing shoes from Sophie May Shop in Utah.

Gypsy soul floral tee and Not all who wander tee in blue from Boho Circus.  You can find both tees at

Gypsy Soul tee by Boho Circus with a Lace kimono from PacSun, Gunne vintage 70's floral skirt and Turkish coin necklace I got off Ebay for under $10.

Above link for the Gypsy Soul tee is for a Unisex Medium please be sure to get your correct size.

My kimono is sold out couldn't find but you can find many styles similar on eBay.

I am the queen of finding items that are really on trend or hot selling items for less.  I saw these necklaces two years ago in a high end catalog for $75-95 and matching bracelet was $50-65.  I got the necklace and bracelet for $10 with shipping.  They are made very well, the material is thick and I have owned my necklace for over a year and worn it many times nothing has broken or happened.  My bracelet I have had a couple months less than the necklace and same thing both are solid well made pieces, very heavy.  Love them and can't imagine anyone who paid the high end price because these really look identical.

Not all who wander tee, Boho Circus

Also available in other sizes and colors, this link is for the unisex Medium.

Necklace is from one of my favorite Etsy Jewelry shops, Fawning in love.  It was a one time item but she does have similar items and lots of other great pieces everyone should check out.  Make sure to pass by her shop and show some love.

Hope you enjoyed my week of fashion and hope the links help you find the items I wore that you like, trying to make it easier for everyone who reads the blog.
