Silver Jeans Co Styles

Silver Jeans Co

In the center the Suki Mid skinny jeans with embroidered details.  All these jeans have the Silver Jeans Co We fit flex denim.  Denim that has just the right amount of stretch to hug your curves and fit your body they way you like.  Silver Jeans Co has some new styles being released for Spring that I can't wait to share with you.  They have the Sam, boyfriend jeans and Kenni, girlfriend jeans.  Boyfriend jeans are designed mid rise, with that comfy slouchy fit like a pair of your boyfriends jeans would have, then the girlfriend jeans have a lower/mid rise that are slightly more fitted in the hips and thighs with a tapered leg.  These new fits are a lot like their prior boyfriend and girlfriend fit jeans just some slight changes.

Their new Avery is for the ladies who love the Suki fit, these were designed with the same curvy fit as Suki but these have a higher waist.  I know the Tuesday jeans have always been a favorite of mine but the older low waist isn't really my go to rise anymore so now keep an eye out for Calley, these have the straight fit a lot like Tuesday jeans but with a mid rise.  Then Silver Jeans has designed the Mazy which is going to be the high waisted version of the Tuesday jeans.  I cannot wait to try both these styles since Tuesday fit were my first love by Silver Jeans Co.

Below are the Berkley Jeans which are similar to the popular Aiko fit with slightly curly fit and shape perfecting low rise.  The leg has a slight straight fit through the thigh and then tapers toward the ankle.  Love these and can't wait to share some photos of them on.  If you ever wanted a higher waist the new Aiko's have been designed with a comfortable mid rise waist now perfect for everyday wear.

I will be bringing you more of the new styles in the weeks to come for Spring.  I just ordered some of the Kenni jeans and will be rocking the Berkley in weeks to come.  I am sure it will only be a few weeks before I have multiple new styles to share with you and some new shorts also.  I was on www.silverjeans.com today and in love with their cute new graphic tops then their new shorts caught my eye.  I am always looking for just the right fit shorts, I have found many styles of jeans I love but shorts are always another story.

My week of ootd posts

My Week of Fashion OOTD posts...

Here are some of my #ootd posts from IG and Twitter.

I found these cute tunic babydoll dresses last fall and ordered a tan one, it arrived damaged so the owner of the eBay shop was kind enough to let me keep the damage one, which I sewed the seam that was undone, and she sent me this one to replace for free.  Love when a store has amazing customer service and goes above everything to make sure their customer is satisfied.  I could not find an exact match but below found a close one in navy.  If you search Umgee Babydoll Tunic lots of styles will pop up and all different prices.

Similar design in Navy

I happened to get very lucky one day when walking the shopping plaza by my house and one of the little boutiques was having a sidewalk sale, I found my white crochet and fringe detail vest marked down for $7.99.  I tried to find a good bargain deal but had a hard time even finding this style vest.  Right now the fringe all over vests are trending, which I ordered one while searching I found for under $25 on eBay.  I saw they were trending and selling for over $35 up to $50 so grabbed one that was $22 with shipping.  Love it.

My sandals are knee high MIA black gladiators.  I had a gift certificate I won for PacSun so I scooped up two pairs of these and some feather print Converse, along with a few cute graphic tees and tanks.  I found links for the same sandals below in both brown and black.  I have a similar dress to the one above in tan and brown with a red, blue multi colored Navajo style print on the front chest area that look amazing with the brown sandals or brown boots.

My necklace I was able to find almost the exact same one at Maurices.com below

Last up my bracelet, purchased from my local Forever 21 store.  As you know their stock sells out fast and is always changing.  I could not find the same exact one, mine is a stretchy silver turkish looking bracelet with little bells on the outside.  I found this pretty etched silver bangle

My wrist party is Alex and Ani bangles, I have a retired feather bangle, the charm feather, buddha charm, monopoly dog, and pineapple charm.  I also am wearing one of my PuraVida Bracelets for a splash of color.  Be sure to check out PuraVida and use my code MelissaSep10 for a discount when checking out.  They are a great company donating money to many charities and proceeds from the sales of all the items helps employ local Costa Rican Artisans.

More Karma Less Drama tee by LeMotto.  Black and white pencil skirt from Forever 21, statement necklace for Walmart for $5, Rock & Republic heels ( best heels ever so comfortable), Alex and Ani charm bangle and heart beaded stretch bracelet, mixed with some gold plain bangles and my Juicy Couture Locket and Key bracelet that was a gift from my mom.

My gorgeous necklace is a pink agate slice from Adam Rabbit Jewelry on Etsy.  She had a $10 mystery necklace sale where you would receive a mystery necklace valued up to $30.  I have many pieces by her and love them all, this one is no exception it is beautiful.  She does not stock this exact same necklace in her shop but one of my favorite stores does have the same stone but with gold chain

My tee shirt was a special order from Girl Monday Apparel on Etsy.  They have lots of fun and humorous sayings on many styles of tees and tanks, we all know I love graphic tees and tanks.  I have found so many amazing shops that I love.

My BillaBong Women's tank is sold out at Pacsun.com, I did find them in stock in all sizes below

My jeans are Jcrew Boyfriend jeans and I have several pairs, they are one of favorite fit and style jeans I own, the distressing is just right and they fit amazing.  Also they are made of the softest denim. I do not put these in the dryer, they are washed on delicate or my steam cleaning setting then hung to dry.  Grab them while they still have some left.  I got them on sale every time and just grabbed a last pair before they are all gone.  Size down one size for good fit.

Use my code MelissaSep10 for 25% discount on all PuraVida orders

I'm a sweet disaster tank, feather kimono with pom pom trim, Hollister boyfriend jeans and Lacey Ryan necklace. Details below for items.

My tee is from Pony Show in Nashville, they have an Etsy store and I have to say all their graphic tees and tanks rock.  Love this store and love all their other vintage items also.  Great find for sure.

or some that have not read this in my previous posts, I am a Silver Jeans Co Ambassador and love this brand.  My first pair of jeans they sent me when becoming an ambassador for their brand we're these amazing Boyfriends jeans I had wanted to order for a few months.  I have over 20 pairs of Silver Jeans and the only style I didn't own were the boyfriend style.  These are now one of my favorite go to pairs of jeans whether cropped or worn ankle length.  I love them with everything I wear them with.  Check the out in the link below.

My purse is my everyday bag, I got it from the Christmas in July 50% off sale at Bohemian Vibe Boutique.  It is currently sold out and I am looking for others that are comparable.  They did have a brown in stock if you want to check the link below.  It is an amazing bag and I get compliments every day, people always think it was way more expensive.  I paid $30 for it retails for $60, best $30 I ever spent lol.  I have used it daily unless I need a brown bag or something smaller.  It comes with a wristlet style pouch that is attached to one of the straps, then has fringe detail on the sides love love love.

Above tee is also from Pony Show same link as above...

My amazing shoes from Sophie May Shop in Utah.

Gypsy soul floral tee and Not all who wander tee in blue from Boho Circus.  You can find both tees at

Gypsy Soul tee by Boho Circus with a Lace kimono from PacSun, Gunne vintage 70's floral skirt and Turkish coin necklace I got off Ebay for under $10.

Above link for the Gypsy Soul tee is for a Unisex Medium please be sure to get your correct size.

My kimono is sold out couldn't find but you can find many styles similar on eBay.

I am the queen of finding items that are really on trend or hot selling items for less.  I saw these necklaces two years ago in a high end catalog for $75-95 and matching bracelet was $50-65.  I got the necklace and bracelet for $10 with shipping.  They are made very well, the material is thick and I have owned my necklace for over a year and worn it many times nothing has broken or happened.  My bracelet I have had a couple months less than the necklace and same thing both are solid well made pieces, very heavy.  Love them and can't imagine anyone who paid the high end price because these really look identical.

Not all who wander tee, Boho Circus

Also available in other sizes and colors, this link is for the unisex Medium.

Necklace is from one of my favorite Etsy Jewelry shops, Fawning in love.  It was a one time item but she does have similar items and lots of other great pieces everyone should check out.  Make sure to pass by her shop and show some love.

Hope you enjoyed my week of fashion and hope the links help you find the items I wore that you like, trying to make it easier for everyone who reads the blog.

My favorite clothing item, jeans!

This post is going to be dedicated to my favorite item in my closet, denim or jeans.  Whether skinny, bell bottom, boot cut, capri, bermuda or shorts, even skirts I love jeans!  I have been big into denim my entire life.  Being in South Florida I spend all my time in some version of denim, with the occasional linen or cotton bottoms.  I love skirts and have been in a long dress or skirt mode for awhile but I still end up in my jeans after a afternoon of running the kids.  Next to my sweats that I wear while home or to the gym jeans take up a lot of my closet.

It is not easy to find a good fit, good quality nice pair of jeans anymore.  I have gone through a lot of phases in my life.  I use to love American Eagle but since my second daughter the low low cut jeans don't cut it.  Hate having my undies or butt hanging out and then having to adjust all day or pull them up.  I also went through a phase three years ago after I lost all the baby weight and was in the best shape I been in since I was 25 with wearing designer brands only.  During this time I wore True Religion,  Paper, Denim, Cotton, Miss Sixty, Luck Brand and more.  During this time though I came across a few brands that I have stuck with through all sizes.  When I was looking for a pair of skinny jeans a couple years ago when they became the thing, I wanted a pair only for my boots, I don't like how they look on me with sandals, I am tall but have hips and thighs.  Anyways, I came across Miss Me jeans and wow do I love these.  I always loved the white thick stitch on the True Religion jeans but the over $130 price, not for me.  I always shop outlets or clearance so rarely pay full price.  I have found a boutique in my area that does the Miss Me jeans at buy one get one half off a few times a year and I stock up.  I have never seen them at Marshall's like True Religion, Lucky Brand and Seven.

I also love Silver jeans.  I have this side of me that still wears some of the stuff I did in my early twenties, I am a rock n roll girl at heart, love me classic, new, old, any kind of rock, even the crazy heavy stuff which is my favorite lol.  So even though I am in my thirties with two kids I still love black, and I love ripped destroyed jeans.  Silver jeans makes the best destroyed denim ever=).  I love the way they wash, wear and how long they last.  Going to post a few photos from the Miss me, Silver and Dillard's websites of some of my favorite styles and washes.  I have over twenty Silver Jeans and close to thirty Miss me.  That includes capris and bermudas.  I have even more in my smaller sizes but don't count the ones I can't wear currently.  I have one pair of Silver Jeans I have had for four years and the older they get the better they look and feel.

The Miss Me jeans run for anywhere from $50-$140 depending on the detail, rhinestones etc.  I usually pay around $65 a pair with sales and buy one get one deals.  Silver Jeans can be anywhere from $29.99 at Marshall's, hard to find though up to $89.  I still wear True Religion, only from the outlets, every now and then American Eagle and I like Seven for Mankind too, just a few cuts though.

One of these days I will take some photos of my collection.  Let me know what brands you love=).
