Gypsy Yummy Colorful Style

Gypsy Colorful Soul

My outfit of the day by Spell & the Gyspy and Pam & Gela

Happy Wednesday, mid week and feeling so happy today. Not sure if it's just my mood since the week is flying by or if it's my beautiful outfit of the day today. Clothes make me feel so good and it's one of the many reasons I love fashion so much. An outfit can really make you feel so good, confident and ready to take on the day. It's amazing what the right clothes can do for a woman. I love helping other women find their style or look, so many women struggle with being able to express their inner creative and bring out their true vibes through their clothing. A lot of women buy whatever the latest trends are and wear whatever they see everyone else wearing but for me I like finding clothing that really expresses my inner gypsy soul, eclectic creative side and pieces that make me feel confident about myself. You don't have to be a size 1 or have an unlimited budget to dress to impress, and you should never dress to impress others you should always dress to impress you. Whatever makes you feel beautiful and confident should be what you are wearing who cares what anyone else  thinks, we are all unique and have our own style sense or opinions on how things look. I work with people who wear all high end designer fashions and they don't look confident or happy, they look uncomfortable or stuffy. Dress for you and only you. Wear what you love and don't be afraid to mix basics or graphic tees that you would normally pair with jeans, but mix them with pencil skirts, maxi skirts and maybe a blazer for a work look, or a kimono for a more bohemian feel.

Today I had to wear my new Pandora skirt and chambray top by Spell & the Gypsy. It is such a gorgeous pattern and the colors are yummy.

I paired my skirt and chambray button down top with another designer I love, Pam & Gela. I love their clothes, especially their graphics tees. They have some amazing designs and love the little added extra bling, or embellishments they throw on the tees and tanks to make the graphic print really stand out. This ice cream cone tank had just the right colors to mix with my skirt without being to matchy.

Next up is accessorizing, for me accessories are like the icing on the cake. You make this yummy perfectly layered cake then you need to finish it off with some icing and sprinkles, I like to add lots of bling or layers of jewelry. My tassel necklace and one of my bracelets, the coconut shell and rose quartz one, are by 31ements. This amazing artisan has a shop on Etsy and has some great styles that can be mixed and matched with lots of styles.

My arm candy today is a little mix of some of my faves, from left to right, rose quartz and coconut shell bracelet by 31ements, white beaded with turquoise color stone charm by Lacey Ryan, beautiful blue and white beaded Buddha bracelet by Gypsy Haven Jewels, and then an ivory and pink tassel bracelet by Fawning in Love also on Etsy. All these shops links will be here in this post and also can be found in my favorite shops on the side bar of my blog.

Love my Pandora skirt by Spell & the gypsy. Spell Designs has some of my favorite pieces and each collection just blows me away with all the amazing patterns, graphics and designs. They have some of the most amazing fabrics and textures. This skirt has a button front with slit down the front from around the knee. It has extra fabric gathered on the sides to give that romantic bohemian look, and the chambray top has a matching floral print.

The chambray top has pearl snap buttons, and love the frayed unfinished ends of the top. Perfect for layering or for fall/winter when you need some extra warmth.

Hope you enjoyed my outfit of the day for Wednesday. I will add some links for whet to buy, just so you know this skirt and top I found pre loved, it was sold out online but it may still be available on the Spell Designs Australian site or I will check some other stores that carry the Spell collections. I know I have seen the dress on Revolve or Free People site not long ago. The Pam & Gela tee is on sale now in their huge warehouse clearance sale. Grab one quick because the sale has been going on for some time and this will sell out soon.

Here's to a great start to the week and to the weekend which is almost here. Peace love and light to everyone. Thank you for your support, kind comments and love. Be sure to follow me on Instagram @Cr8tivewanderlust and on Twitter @Gypseawanderer. Xoxo

Spell & the Gypsy Colletive

Spell & The Gypsy Collective

I have always loved the gypsy bohemian style, next to my graphic tee and ripped jeans rocker look I would say is my long flowing skirts, maxi dresses, midi skirts and dresses, camisole tanks, cool graphic tops, kimonos, cool jewelry, fringe bags, and strappy sandals. Boho chic or rocker style are my two go to looks that describe my own eclectic taste and spin on style. I love vintage boots high, mid and low. Turquoise and silver funky jewelry, even my home decor is an eclectic array of bohemian, hippie, gypsy, and wanderlust, or traveled designs.

When I first came across Spell it was their Byron Bay Australian site, I was googling looking for some nice maxi skirts and boho chic tops and their site popped up. I had been buying no name brand or smaller boutique maxi skirts and dresses or anything that had that vibe I could find online or even in stores, but once I came across their site I was hooked. I have always loved to wear a kimono over my graphic tees or tops to dress them up, and I also noticed Spell had a lot of really cool vintage vibe graphic tees and tanks. It was everything minus jeans and since they had had a few embroidered denim jeans, shorts and chambray tops. It is the perfect line for my style and for me to pick up pieces to help express my inner gypsy soul.

One of my first pieces was this kimono with feathers and cattle skull design which I got on sale almost two years ago, soon I had a few graphic top and skirts.

As you can see their pieces go so well with other pieces I already own, some are recent pieces like my lace skirt from Target others are vintage pieces I have found at thrift stores. My Turkish coin necklace and matching bracelet I found on eBay for under $12 for both.

The longer coin necklace can be worn as a belt, body chain or long necklace. Love versatile pieces like that, and have had that since I first purchased my belly dancing scarf a few years back for the Renaissance festival.

I got this raglan Easy Rider super soft tee on sale from them and also have the tee with roll up sleeves that can also be worn like a tank in grey. Looks great with their skirts, jeans, and even some flare or bell bottom style leggings.

I got this skirt off eBay for $35 and here paired it with a Spiritual Gangster Wild and Free graphic tank, with a tan solid tank and my Forever 21 fringe bucket bag. This skirt is cute and goes with so many style tops, I am totally hooked on their skirts cause I can wear them with solid tees or a similar tone or print graphic tee/tank.

On another day wore this skirt with a Free People gauze and lace top with tassel sleeves. My necklace is a gorgeous three layer piece from Lacey Ryan's Maurice's collection.

Then I have styled it with a pale pink solid Pam & Gela v neck basic top, and Simply Quinn's hand made arrowhead necklace. The half crescent is part of a triple necklace pack I got from Forever21 but my girl at Fawning in love has some alms or identical on her Etsy page, link below also, and Whiskey and bone has a few similar look but in white.

As soon as I laid my eyes on the Spell grey distressed Festival Fox tank I had to order it. Has a feather on the back and I am into distressed everything. This tank is so soft and the distressing is some of the best I have seen.

Here back in May/June I paired my tank with a fringe suede style vest, Ettika stacked star velvet choker and a long silver braid. Wearing a long denim vintage skirt from the late 70's not seen in photo.

This tee is another favorite because blue is my favorite color, especially turquoise, I love to wear and decorate my home with lots of blue accents and all shades. The shorts are also Spell, they have a tie tassel waist and the sides tie up with tassel finished strings. They are so cute on and go perfect with a lot of my tees since blues are my favorite.

Here wearing the Spell Turquoise Stone Hunter tee with my Ettika beaded chokers. Love to stack my beaded chokers they really compliment all my different outfits and favorite styles.

Their latest collection and I was so excited when I ordered the Turquoise tee above because while I was away over the summer Spell launched their US site.  Prior to them launching their US site I would always have to look on eBay, Free People and Revolve or order from their Australian site which didn't bother me but did take long and cost more for shipping. Most of my eBay scores have been amazing prices but end up paying $12-18 for shipping and sometimes it would take a week to two weeks to arrive. I didn't mind but trust me the US site is awesome and shipping is super fast.

I wanted this tank and skirt as soon as I see them, had my fingers crossed just hoping the new styles didn't sell out before I was able to order. Missed the army jacket, and another dress I wanted but working on getting them off eBay or their Australian site now.

My hubby ordered this tank, Smokin dreams and the Babushka floral and lace skirt for me along with the Revolver skirt as part of my birthday presents this year. Found this cool turquoise squash style silver and feather necklace with matching earrings online for $17. My turquoise arrowhead bracelet is House Of Harlow from last summers Rocksbox sample sale.

This is the Revolver skirt and really wanted the dress but they didn't have my size. I paired it with a top I have had for some time I got at Free People while on vacation. My long brown suede look bolo or lariat necklace that has a choker look with layers of suede material and gold accent feathers I got from Tilly's along with a black one with crystals. The blue and gold inlay bohemian tusk necklace is made by Fawning in Love.  You can find Fawning in Love on etsy, link below and in favorite shops, then you can follow her on Instagram @Fawninginlove to see all her new designs before she lists them.  She has the cutest packing and always is a pleasure to work with, she has custom designed pieces for myself and my daughter, if you visit her Etsy store you will see the Melissa choker which is a design I had her custom make for my daughter after I purchased a beautiful ring and later she created a bracelet that would match it perfectly.  The day the bracelet arrived my oldest daughter saw and thought it was a choker so she asked me to see if she could make her the same look as my bracelet in a choker, she can only wear short necklaces to school because long necklaces aren't allowed, they consider them a safety hazard in the halls and stairs with so many kids rushing to classes.  Laura was so sweet and created the most gorgeous choker for her and then let me know she created one without the center stone then named it after me.  I found her shop on Etsy almost two years ago and purchased a ring from her, after that I have ordered many items from her and she has always gone above and beyond.

This skirt has pockets which for me always seal the deal when trying to decide between one style, pattern or color combo. I have worn this with solid tops, graphic tops and more.  The best thing about bohemian style is that it's all comfortable, cute and can be worn so many ways. I have a ton of tops, kimonos, and accessories.

Gypsy Witch graphic tank, by Spell is another favorite. I ordered a blue one cause as you can see my black has been worn many times. I was all my clothes mostly by hand, on the delicate setting or steam rack in washer, then always hand or lay out flat to dry so the material doesn't get stretched out. My African beaded turquoise, black agate bracelets and custom Wanderlust gold bangle are from Whiskey + Bone. Can't wait to share more of this amazing designer with you all. Check my prior post for more of my pieces and keep an eye out for them all styled into my daily looks.

Long necklace is the green beaded, Buddha rosary style necklace on sale now at Ettika for $9.99. The skirt is my Revolver Spell and the Gypsy skirt. My shorter necklace is an amazing handmade smoky Quartz mounted in a bullet, made by Whiskey + Bone.  Be sure to check out the Whiskey + Bone shop and follow her on Instagram @Whiskeyandbone, she has so many amazing one of kind designs and unique styles all made with the best quality materials.

Babushka midi dress and Lace Kimono. Whiskey + Bone necklace and bracelets, use code WANDERLUSTBABE to save 10% off on Etsy, bracelets are a mix of Alex and Ani faves.

Folk town mid length dress with double tassel neck closure and the Babushka blue floral print with lace detail midi dress. Two of my favorites. Excited to share more of my Spell collection this week as I wear them. Feel very blessed to have been able to buy the pieces I have wanted for some time, trust me they are worth every cent because the quality is amazing and the style is timeless, they will be cute for decades to come. Another reason why I love these designers because their patterns, styles and accessories all have that vintage vibe that is always in style.

I have had an amazing birthday weekend and thank you for all the wishes. Means so much to me to know so many people thought of me on my special day and weekend. Off to spend the final portion of my birthday weekend with my girls. Peace love and light always, xoxo.

Love the new Pam & Gela graphic tanks every season I think they can't beat the previous seasons styles but these are my faves. Love how they not only pay attention to cool graphic designs but love the addition of edgy details like beads and rhinestones. They never disappoint.

My May Rocksbox pieces by House of Harlow 1960, Slate and Kendra Scott. You can use the code MelissasBFF10 for a free trial month. No obligation month of jewelry you can wear and return or if you love a piece you can keep them and buy. What a fun box. Love accessories they are the icing on the cake for every outfit that last detail to complete every look.

Another of my new Pam & Gela summer graphic tanks. This one has a summer vibe with the refreshing ice cream cone graphic and blinged out details in the jewelry. Paired with Miss Me pink linen shorts, eBay scored kimono, necklace is my Slate piece from Rocksbox, and Alex and Ani bracelets.

This top I have wanted since the beginning of the year when Pam & Gela released their spring collection. I was happy to be able to get it finally and on sale, always love their sales. My necklace is a two layer gold tone, triangle and Hamsa hand piece from BooHoo.com.

An outfit from my daughter's multi cultural event this week for the school. Paired this wrap style top from Maurices.com with a cream tank from Target, mom frayed bottom jeans and gold tone necklace from BooHoo.com, Floral, fringe bottom kimono from Buckle.com and of course more Alex and Ani pieces.

Some of my spring faves from Alex and Ani, their feather painted charm, my birthstone for August, and the UNICEF butterfly charm. Paired them with some colorful PuraVida Bracelets, don't forget you can use my exclusive promo code MelissaSep20 for 20% off with PuraVida.

Black Bardot, off the shoulder cropped top, and gold tone necklace by BooHoo.com worn with this denim patchwork pencil skirt from Citizens of Humanity.

Turkish coin necklace and matching bracelet I got for $10-12 for the set off eBay awhile back, worn with this sexy and comfy Pam & Gela tank dress with ruched skirt bottom. Love this dress, yes you read my description of it correctly it's not an error, this dress is both comfortable and sexy. It is made of the softest cotton, and the ruched bottom and curve hugging design really accentuate the body nice. One of my favorite things about the brand, all Pam & Gela styles are stylish, trendy, chic and comfortable.

Woke up to rare cool morning here in Florida for this time of year, grabbed out this bomber jacket I got off Poshmark for $12 love it. Ring is a bohemian silver engraved wrap ring from Bohemian Vibe Boutique.

Styles from the week

You will find all the details on the above photo below.

Wearing my new favorite distressed skinny jeans by Silver Jeans of course. The top was on sale at Pacsun and love the high slit side, shoes are camo Toms style slip on sneakers I scored last year in Jacksonville at Rockville for $5 at Walmart. Super comfy and who doesn't love camo?!

I won this cute necklace from Creationsbyacat on IG she has an Etsy store which I will be adding the link below and if you love unique handmade jewelry you will need to check out her goodies.

My Friday outfit was this top which when it arrived I was not sure about because I ordered a large and it was huge but wearing it I love that it's oversized and fits off the shoulder. Looks great with leggings or skinny jeans. I wear one of those Walmart as seen on TV Genie bras almost daily now, they are so comfy and lol good under these style tops. I also really love that they make me look smaller busted if that is even possible.

My necklace is a long horn necklace by Lacey Ryan and is from her first collection she collaborated with Maurice's, my feather is from eBay that my hubby got me and still wear it often it's become a favorite. I have a beautiful one similar but smaller with matching ring by Pandora my amazing hubby got me also which you will see I alternate them. I have so much jewelry it's insane but I love to accessorize. My jeans are by Silver jeans as well, the boots I scored at Target retailing for $39.99 I paid $24.50 thanks to a sale they had online which the manager matched for me in store. Alex and Ani bangles always. I pretty much always wear Alex and Ani with an occasional mixed in string or other bangle in same style or metal even maybe a color to match my ootd.

Wearing this top again, these two tops one in olive the other plum are on repeat. They are so comfy and cute plus they look amazing with jeans or leggings. My leggings I scored at Payless while shopping for shoes for my little one on sale for $9.99 they are thick and the colors are dark which I love.

My ring is my new favorite by Fawninginlove on Etsy. This has become my favorite jewelry shop on Etsy. She makes incredible pieces and the quality is amazing. I have never had a piece fall apart and she always responds to all my messages so kindly. She wraps everything gorgeous and really does take so much pride in her jewelry and brand. I highly recommend her and you need to head over to her Etsy store when you have some time if you love hand made jewelry because you will be in love. I have a few shops I have ordered from for some time and love them but have had issues with pieces falling apart and having to fix them myself or not hearing back from them when I have an issue. I am supportive of all shops that I purchase from and like to see them appreciate that kindness and support.

Another gorgeous Lacey Ryan necklace paired with this olive top from Fashion Junkee site. My tote is Bohemian Vibe Boutique whom I hope to work with some more in 2016.

Found this adorable fit and flare almost A line cut dress in gray, they also have red and beige. Was contemplating ordering something similar online for double the price but while Christmas shopping found these at Marshalls for $14.99. These look cute alone or with leggings, stocking, tights, tall socks and boots. I have mine paired with some tall black ruffle top socks from Tilly's and combat boots then a skull scarf and some cool jewelry.

Not sure if everyone noticed my feature on Alex and Ani's Instagram this week. I was so honored and over 10k likes. They also sent me many messages on Twitter and loved my blog post along with photos. I adore this company and may not have been a supporter since they started because they only recently became popular here last year and I don't state I was an established fan for years when I only started posting photos in the last few months. I got my first one for a gift and since most have been gifts but they are my favorite arm candy out there right now. Loved that they are made from recycled metals and made right here in the USA, then love the many cute styles plus they are the best to stack.

Another Alex and Ani stack from last week. I rarely wear all my bracelets at once maybe once in a while I like to wear a few mixed and matched.

Wish you could see the sparkle in my gel nail polish, my toes are just red but have the prettiest sparkle red nails can't keep my eyes of them they are so pretty.

Last up ending this post with my little ones pedicure and reindeer nail art had done today, she loves it and I think it's adorable.

Tomorrow we got tickets to see Star Wars at the IMAX in 3D and are having a family day but have some cool posts for more holiday gift ideas, wrapping pics, traditions and a recipe for some home made fudge then an inside look at a shoot I styled for New Years before we close out the year. My company doesn't like for us to post photos working on our personal sites but my boss gave my permission to share this one since I worked so hard. You will get to see some great New Year's Eve outfit ideas and choices if you are looking for something special to wear to a party or event.

Have a great weekend and only five days left. Enjoy that last shopping, wrapping and planing. I will be spending some Qt time with my family tomorrow and most of the week. Have some small last minute gifts or shopping to complete, a lot of wrapping because I keep buying and have packaging arriving daily and lots of baking to do. Can't wait to share some family traditions and recipes. Keep an eye out this week. Also check out my features tab for some of my latest reposts online. Been honored and grateful. Xoxo
