My outfit of the day by Spell & the Gyspy and Pam & Gela 

Happy Wednesday, mid week and feeling so happy today. Not sure if it's just my mood since the week is flying by or if it's my beautiful outfit of the day today. Clothes make me feel so good and it's one of the many reasons I love fashion so much. An outfit can really make you feel so good, confident and ready to take on the day. It's amazing what the right clothes can do for a woman. I love helping other women find their style or look, so many women struggle with being able to express their inner creative and bring out their true vibes through their clothing. A lot of women buy whatever the latest trends are and wear whatever they see everyone else wearing but for me I like finding clothing that really expresses my inner gypsy soul, eclectic creative side and pieces that make me feel confident about myself. You don't have to be a size 1 or have an unlimited budget to dress to impress, and you should never dress to impress others you should always dress to impress you. Whatever makes you feel beautiful and confident should be what you are wearing who cares what anyone else  thinks, we are all unique and have our own style sense or opinions on how things look. I work with people who wear all high end designer fashions and they don't look confident or happy, they look uncomfortable or stuffy. Dress for you and only you. Wear what you love and don't be afraid to mix basics or graphic tees that you would normally pair with jeans, but mix them with pencil skirts, maxi skirts and maybe a blazer for a work look, or a kimono for a more bohemian feel.

Today I had to wear my new Pandora skirt and chambray top by Spell & the Gypsy. It is such a gorgeous pattern and the colors are yummy. 

I paired my skirt and chambray button down top with another designer I love, Pam & Gela. I love their clothes, especially their graphics tees. They have some amazing designs and love the little added extra bling, or embellishments they throw on the tees and tanks to make the graphic print really stand out. This ice cream cone tank had just the right colors to mix with my skirt without being to matchy.

Next up is accessorizing, for me accessories are like the icing on the cake. You make this yummy perfectly layered cake then you need to finish it off with some icing and sprinkles, I like to add lots of bling or layers of jewelry. My tassel necklace and one of my bracelets, the coconut shell and rose quartz one, are by 31ements. This amazing artisan has a shop on Etsy and has some great styles that can be mixed and matched with lots of styles.

My arm candy today is a little mix of some of my faves, from left to right, rose quartz and coconut shell bracelet by 31ements, white beaded with turquoise color stone charm by Lacey Ryan, beautiful blue and white beaded Buddha bracelet by Gypsy Haven Jewels, and then an ivory and pink tassel bracelet by Fawning in Love also on Etsy. Love my Pandora skirt by Spell & the gypsy. Spell Designs has some of my favorite pieces and each collection just blows me away with all the amazing patterns, graphics and designs. They have some of the most amazing fabrics and textures. This skirt has a button front with slit down the front from around the knee. It has extra fabric gathered on the sides to give that romantic bohemian look, and the chambray top has a matching floral print.

The chambray top has pearl snap buttons, and love the frayed unfinished ends of the top. Perfect for layering or for fall/winter when you need some extra warmth.

Target Peep toe ankle boots

Everyone loves Target and I have been spending a lot of time at the local Target stores trying to find some clearance or sale items for my home that I'm currently changing up some of the decor. I make a point of always browsing the clothing and shoes of course then checking my Cartwheel app, coupons and I also have the red card. I saw these cute Peep Toe perforated ankle booties on sale for $32.99 I had a 15% off and got an additional 5% with my red card. I scooped them up around $28 and love them. I had a similar pair I got over a year ago at Macy's in a grayish taupe tone but they are ready for replacing and had seen the new Toms version of this style but for the price decided to go with these. They run true to size and are very comfy. These are perfect for me living in South Florida where it is hot all year round because they are a cool version of boots. I love how you get a lot of air and don't have to wear socks. These are my new faves. 

I also grabbed this ottoman I took the picture of the shoes on, a marble top table, leather fold out accent table or ottoman and a globe for my house then for our camper. I can't wait to show you all my new decor and designs once in completed with them. My entry accent wall is coming along amazing, received my Wanderlust wall sign made by Earth and Ash on etsy. It is everything I had envisioned and then some.

Hope everyone has had an amazing week, I know I'm totally run down from all the running around with school, work and my kids after school sports or activities. My birthday is Saturday and football season is starting, my girls both have started their seasons cheering and can't wait for the FSU VS UM game, we have season tickets to the UM games this year and being an FSU fan I'm really only excited about the one game. Today ordered some cute graphic tops for the other games with football or tailgating sayings, then also got tickets to see the Prophets of Rage. If you haven't heard about them yet it is the original band from Rage Against the Machine with the singer from Cypress Hill and Public Enemy. Can't wait for that show been a huge Rage against the machine fan since I was a teen and seen them many times with their signer Zak, will miss him but excited to see the band play some of their old jams. Off to bed have a great night and make sure you look for these super cute boots for fall next time you visit Target. Happy Friday y'all , I know if you are like me the weekend is the highlight of your week. I spend from Sunday night to Friday morning counting down to the weekend when I can spend quality time with my family enjoying the beach or just relaxing together. Tonight I'm excited to share with you an amazing jewelry designer from Cope Cod, MA.  

31ements, (Elements) is owned and created by the talented Morgan Kendrew. The 31 in the name of her line comes from her love for basketball growing up, 31 being her jersey number. I love her creative spin on the name, I have always loved to use numbers in my business, blog and social media names. Morgan is very talented and artistic, she graduated from Brandeis University with a Bachelor's degree in Arts.

Her jewelry line is created with precious gem stones and good vibes in every piece.  As Morgan has posted on her website,  " Every gemstone is said to have its own metaphysical meaning and energy from the four elements: earth, air, water, and fire". There is a piece that is sure to appeal to everyone and have meaning to each person who wears any of the pieces from her collection.

I love to support small businesses, especially those who take the time to hand make all of their items, creating their own unique designs that show the love and passion the designer has for their pieces. 31ements tassel necklaces are one of my personal favorites, I love how she has taken a trendy boho chic design adding the beach vibe with the addition of gemstone chips on each necklace matching the tassels color. These beauties retail for $34. You will find Rose Quartz, Lapis Lazuli, Coral, Fancy Jasper, Unakite, Amethyst, and Turquoise gemstones on all of her pieces.

This wire wrapped arrowhead shaped obsidian or crystal quartz with paisley leaf pendant comes on a 28" brass necklace for $34. As you can see in on of the photos above,  it looks fabulous layered with other pieces like the tassel necklaces and the Kyanite necklace I am wearing below.

Above I'm wearing the Kyanite gemstone piece with one brass crescent moon on each side. Hung vertically from a delicate brass or 14k gold plated chain measuring about 24". This piece retails for $32. The stone has a gorgeous sparkle and love the moon charms on each side, no matter which way the necklace sits it looks the same so you don't have to worry about your pendant twisting and not showing the crescent moon charm. Love this design and the stone is gorgeous. Blue is my favorite color, reminds me of the sky and ocean, Representing relaxation and tranquility.

Recovering post

Home recovering from a procedure and wanted to post some of my Instagram shots from the passed week. Promise to have some new stuff for y'all real soon.

Dress by Loft, love this light weight chambray dress paired with this amazing Kimono I got off eBay. Wearing my silver Alex and Ani bangles. 

My top is old and was from Kohl's Apt9 love the white with blue stitching, skirt is a new favorite and has been on repeat already a few times. I got it from Forever21 and love the 70's feel. It has a button down front, a line cut, and side pockets. The heavier solid denim makes it look even more vintage. Love love this skirt. Paired it with some lovely blue gems like my agate slice necklace by Fawning in Love on etsy, you can check out her Instagram page @Fawninginlove. I had a regular agate necklace but saw this gold feather one and wanted so badly. I had left a comment on an older photo and the amazing designer notified me when she made a new one that was similar to the one I loved, I had to scoop it up right then. Matches amazing with some other gorgeous handmade agate slice pieces I own.

Love my coral, orange and blonde ombré. Pravana color and Olaplex treatments have made my hair look amazing. Really enjoying this color. Now wondering what's next? For now I love this color combo so going to touch up and keep till winter. Think this will be a great fall color. Red maybe my next color, haven't done a red in a while and since I am in the same color family may need to give it a try before going to my next colors. 

     

Mermaid at heart always, love the ocean and love the beach. Even if you move me to the mountains a piece of my heart will always be at the beach. This sundress was a purchase from Target in spring and love this simple graphic tank dress. 

My favorite new denim skirt on repeat here from Forever21 and the necklaces are all from Forever21 as well.  The long black cord necklace has feather, bohemian and crystal charms, then have a gold feather and a opalite style stone necklace that came in a three piece set from Forever21. It also came with a brown gold dipped style agate looking necklace but don't have that piece on here. The black cropped tee is from Anthropology, and my gorgeous black fringe tote is from Bohemian Vibe Boutique. 

A gorgeous brown leather cuff I got in Disney, it has my girls names engraved on it and a silver heart charm. I paid $10 for this and love it. My new favorite piece for fall. Looking for a brown leather feather necklace which I found a few on Instagram and going to order this week.

Ootd Fashion Post

Today I am packing for our vacation, currently in the process of washing the last load of laundry and just finished cleaning the house. I always love to leave the house spotless, and have fresh linens so when we come home we can just relax that first evening. I also try to wash my clothes the last day of vacation or when we have some down time since we rent a house, that way I don't come home with two weeks of dirty laundry. It is a great way to do things because then you can come home from vacation and chill instead of having to clean or wash clothes the first couple days you are home. 

We are super excited to leave tomorrow am, we are picking up the rental car and booked a mid size SUV but my hubby called because the girl told me I could get a free upgrade the day I pick up and looks like we are going to get a Tahoe for the price of the Explorer or Equinox. I drive the large Lexus SUV, but we don't like to put mileage on my car if we don't have to, we are hoping to get the Tahoe or even a mini van if that's all they have, since it has more room. We will be gone two weeks and need lots of room for luggage along with room to stretch out and be able to relax while driving. I always over pack lol, and have two daughters so we have a lot of luggage. 

While I am traveling I will be updating and posting on the blog, especially while we are driving to the locations. I am hoping to be able to have time to work on some of the posts I have had ideas for, for some time but just haven't had the time to sit down and type up. I have several reviews on shops and products I would like to share as well as some more photos. 

Today I just wanted to quickly post from my iPhone and upload some new photos of some of my ootd posts from Instagram along with my new hair photos, and some other new stuff I got. I am excited and sad I will be missing the annual Miami swim fashion week but my post on the Traingl bikini will be up on several local blogs thanks to my amazing boss. It isn't the same post I shared here but I plan to repost or share the link here. It has more photos of the suit on, detailed photos of the suit, from stitching to buckle and more. Plus I review not just the swimsuit but the website, live chat, customer service, sizing, material, shipping and discuss some research I did on their return policy and how others felt about returning their suit. Keep an eye out here and on my Instagram for that, also I will be showing some of my favorite Miami swimsuit designers along with the best swim fashion shows to hit, the ones I would have been at for sure if I wasn't away on vacation. I was lucky enough to work this passed week and weeks prior with several amazing designers on helping set up or design their booths, style their shows and more. I am sad I won't be here for the actual event but it has been amazing being part of it. Also got some super cute bikinis and cover ups to share when I return. Hoping by the time I get back I will have my custom Betty bangs bikini made, and can show you how amazing her suits are. She makes them all by herself with her sewing machine, she is famous for the teekini where she took band tee shirts and sewed them with a lining turning them into sexy, super hot, swimsuits that were all the buzz here in Miami and south Florida. I am lucky enough to have met her many years ago before her line took off and she sent me one bikini many years ago and I just recently contacted her about getting a custom made gypsy bohemian vibe bikini made, she promised me as soon as swim week was over she would make it. 

Okay enough rambling about that lol, here are the photos I wanted to share below. I will add details below each photo. Also I will be adding the links to the site and posts little by little, as you can see in some posts I have already changed them. I post most of my blog posts from my iPhone because it is so easy, all my photos are in my phone and I just find it so convenient. Only down side I can't add the links to sites. I like to have a few links that make it easier for you, the reader to just click and be directed straight to the web page or even the product I am showing or reviewing. I promise I will have most of the more recent posts updated by the end of the month. 

Enjoy my photos and new stuff I have gotten. A few items didn't make it yet, I still have till six tonight for UPS and Fed Ex to deliver, I may update if they do make it later adding some more photos but if not I will have some amazing handmade jewelry I ordered from a sweet lady I met on IG @gypsyhavenjewels and some other eBay scores. 

This super cute Caftan style top is from Forever 21. It is made of a super sheer, light weight gauze style material, with a pull tie right below your bust to adjust, it really accentuates your figure and looks amazing. Love the black Aztec style pattern that trims the top. It can be worn as a dress or beach cover up, or like I have it with some light weight leggings in capri length. 

I chose to pair it with my Adam Rabbit raw citrine necklace and a silver crescent moon with star necklace I found on eBay. 

Can't see them but wearing black Tory Burch sandals with silver TB logo and a similar design black and cream bottom. Love TB sandals, flats and even her flip flops. 

Got this super cute pair of pajamas at Target. I also got a pair with icecream for breakfast, and ones with little cute foxes on them. Wanted some light weight pj's since we will be in the hot south and Texas. The cute doughnut socks I found at Forever 21 and also have a pair with Pineapples and Foxes, which made me have to grab the fox pajama's also. I was told the fox pjs are normally only sold online but I guess someone had returned them to the store, my daughter also wanted a pair and when I asked the lady looked to see on the computer if they had any in the back or in store that maybe we over looked, but she said that they were a online only item and had been a return. They are super cute and for $14.99 can't beat it. 

I ordered a large order from Wet Seal over two weeks ago and it arrived this week. I got this cute, Go climb a cactus tank, for $6 and these ripped white Machine denim jean shorts for $10, also wearing my Forever 21 cactus necklace. Can't wait to rock this in Texas. I also got other shorts, jeans and tops you can see on my Instagram page, @cr8tivefashionwanderlust. You can also always look just at my graphic tee and tank collection on Instagram by using the hashtag #melissastees. Makes it easier if you only want to see my collection of graphic tees and tanks versus all my other many photos lol. 

More cute tops from Boho Circus. Love this Free Spirit, VW with feather graphic tank and the Radiate positive vibes tee. The kimono underneath I scored for $3 bucks off eBay. It's gorgeous and have seen the exact same and similar ones from $25-45 online. It has the tassel crochet style bottom and lovely blue teal floral print. I love it. 

M new hair color which I call rose gold ombré. It's a light blonde to reddish, orange, coral color ombré, there are shades of peach and coral as it gets darker. It is blended lovely and after having to strip my hair two days in a row, thanks to a product I have been using for around 6-8 months, Olaplex, my hair is even healthier them before. Normally it would be fried but this Olaplex three step product is amazing. The blue I had didn't want to come out the neon shade was very happy and didn't want to leave but the orange eventually just covered it and canceled it out. 

Looks brighter due to the lighting but it is a gorgeous white blonde that fades down into a peach, coral and then orange and brownish red tone. Love it and couldn't be happier. Judy, a new stylist I found did it for me and used of course Pravana colors, that's all I use in my hair and again Olaplex. 

Here wearing my pam&gela tank I got for $20 off eBay, blonde power! Love it this is my third top from their line. I have two tanks and one tee. Love them. 

Wearing my silver jeans suki shorts and forever 21 kimono, the necklace is also forever 21 and the bracelets are Lacey Ryan, and lokai. For those who don't know already I am a official brand rep or as they call it at Silver jeans, a Silver jeans Ambassador. I was so excited am honored to be asked to apply to be a part of this amazing program and then even more excited and over joyed to get the email welcoming me. I love silver jeans and have worn them for over a decade. I will have an upcoming post dedicated to the brand and all the many styles I own.

Summer style

No one likes a shady beach, right? Love this graphic tee by a favorite of mine, Everfitte. You can find them on Etsy.com and Instagram @everfitte. I have a few tops by them, my Friday I'm in love tee and my Don't be like the rest of them darling tank, are also by Everfitte. I also have a mornings are for mimosas tee I haven't worn yet. They have a lot of cute designs and styles of tops, if you love graphic tees and tanks like I do for sure check them out. 

The Kimono which you can't see good in this shot is by Billabong and was a gift. A perk of being a stylist/curator. 

Old navy clearance shirt dress from last spring I wore the other day, forgot to post.

This cute fringe white tank came from Forever21 and love how it really dresses up this maxi skirt and basic blue tank. 

The skirt was from Kohls and the tank Target. 

My necklaces: the longest one is a white gem stone with silver serpentine style chain by Lacey Ryan. The feather was a eBay score and I have the charm on a similar serpentine style necklace because I wear these two together often.  You can't see but also have on a rhinestone mom pendant which I purchased at Kohls sometime over the passed 2-3 years. I have not shopped at Kohls since last spring so anything from Kohls is older. 

My bracelet arm party stack this day was Alex and Ani feather bracelet, and the Buddha charm. The beads are all Lacey Ryan which you can follow on Instagram @laceyryaninc and the mama bracelet is a new shop I love @candycoutureshop on ig. 

My little one and I started a succulent bowl garden. I have lots of individual planted succulents around my house but we wanted a little garden. We shopped all over and then used a bowl I got with an arrangement back a few years ago that I saved, some charcoal for the bottom to keep it drained, succulent and cactus dirt, then rocks for decorative reasons. I purchased a small spray bottle to water these and it was so cute my little one wrote every other Wednesday on the calendar water our plants, lol. Love her.
