Cute in style tees

Yesterday I blogged about cute in style tees that are popular all over now. There are so many amazing places from eBay and etsy to order. As well as pop up shops and websites like www.stylelately.com. Also locally the store Love Culture is going out of business and I have gotten a few cute tops that are $14-15 on sale at up to 60% off. Check out some styles below from style lately as well as some cute similar tees you can find at Love culture on sale if you have a local store closing or you can find on their website for regular price. I got my hi haters bye haters tee for $7 I believe and the you can't sit with us tee for $6 at my local store which is going out of business. 

Will have a lot of great features this week from Marshall's and TJ Maxx also. Not sure if I mentioned it in my previous post but if you like converse you can always find the one star style at target for less but Marshall's had the black and white high and low style for $24.99 and $29.99. Also a great find I got two weeks ago were some super cute freebird by Steven boots, Steve Madden has a line of cute cowboy rocker style boots that usually retail for over $199-$299 and found a super cute pair at Marshall's for $99.99 two weeks ago. Just wanted to share this deal, they only had the cognac color but still super cute and amazing price.

T-shirt and Tank Obsessed

For years, since I was a teen I have always loved jeans and a cute tee or tank. Usually with flip flops or a cute pair of sneakers, like vans or converse. I always had cool concert tee shirts or graphic tees. Loved the wife beater style tank tops too in solid colors or cool prints. My closet is so ridiculous that I can't even share a photo till I finish cleaning it out, it is bad. I also have two dressers for my clothes but I prefer to hang them and be able to see everything versus digging in a drawer. But I have to work with what I have. 

I would love to have a huge closet, which honestly my closet isn't small at all. I use to always fold my tees and tanks then have a talk dresser that I had filled with them, but then started hanging my favorites. My collection has gotten bigger and bigger over the years. I have a lot of tees and tanks now with cute sayings. It's amazing how many creative people are out there and the cute ideas they have. Some of my favorites are still my concert and band tee shirts, I am a rocker girl at heart. I was in my mom's tummy when u attended my first rock concerts, my brother was a huge Kiss fan and my mom would take him to shows, and I was so lucky to attend these. I remember being two or three years old and seeing Kiss live, I loved it, the blowing up and fire, loud rock and roll, tons of people it was so intense. I always thought I was meant to be a rock star but never had any of the talents. Instead I just went to every local rock show along with the big bands, I was hooked. I have some shirts that are over twenty years old and still look amazing. 

I love sports so also have a large collection of football tees and other sports teams I like. Recently I have become into shirts with cute sayings. I am not a morning person at all and a friend got me a cute tank top a few years ago that says "I don't do mornings" and it quickly became a favorite. My fashion style has always been very casual and rocker style. I love destroyed denim, I was wearing destroyed denim when I was 16 so over 25 years ago and love skulls, camo, studs, and have always had a passion for cutting up my own clothes and creating a more cutting edge style. 

Figured I was due for a blog post about my shirts. Have blogged about my fashion finds and deals, shoe obsession and my favorite jeans. Now I have to have a post about favorite tees. I find a lot of my favorites on etsy and eBay. Also stores like Marshall's, TJ Maxx, Love Culture, Forever 21 and even good will is a great spot. We also have these consignment stores called Plato's closet here. I will buy a men's shirt way to large for me or even a shirt that is worn or has a small hole then cute it and tie it or knot it in a cool way just cause I like the logo or quote on it. 

My hubby use to be big into joke shirts and shirts with different crazy dirty jokes or sayings also. He orders me tees all the time and some of the ones he has picked out have become classics and favorites. It's funny cause I have always considered myself to not be a big fashion person when it comes to having style, but I get stopped often and asked who makes that or where did you find that. It is what inspired me to start blogging years ago and still inspires me now to post certain topics on my blog. Tees and tanks are great cause you can dress them up with a cute skirt and later with other tanks and tops or cute cardigans, kimono tops and jackets or even vests. I think a cool tee or tank with a hot skirt and great heals is a go to outfit for me. My everyday fashion is jeans, capris or shorts with a tank or tee, flip flops or converse and a cute tee shirt or tank top. 

Some of my personal favorite tees and tanks are my collection of wifey shirts. My hubby has called me wifey since we got married, I have been programmed in his phone as wifey for 16 years and he got me a wifey tee about 12 years ago and since I have a lot of different styles. My favorite is one he got me for Christmas this year off eBay that says wifey and then says the year we were married. Super cute and comfy. I also love my ILY vneck gray wifey tee and then I have a super glitter wifey flowing tank top. I have a few of those in different colors and fonts. 

I like the ones with sayings about copycats and crazy people also since I have had some issues with a crazy myself and they just are perfect for people who know me, or about the situation. I could ramble on forever about my tee and tank collection but think the best thing to do is show some of my favorites and then share some amazing sites you can purchase them at. I don't think I can fit them all in one post but will have several posts over the next month dedicated to my love for the cute graphic and quote tees or tanks. 

As I think I may have mentioned awhile back my laptop has needed an update but recently decided to save up for a new one so I have been posting from my phone, this makes posting harder for sharing links and photos. I will do my best to share the info until I can get online on my desktop or laptop to post. If you have any questions feel free to comment and I will do my best to get you the information. Also will have some cute tees and tanks for photography lovers, cause I have a few of those I love.  Thinking I may revamp my blog soon and try to get it more organized and back to being laid out better. I kind of started slacking since my office became a storage room after we got our garage door fixed and my kids took over all my computers and tablets lol. I love blogging and sharing my love for crafts, baking, photography, home decor, fashion and more. If you have followed my blog over the passed few years then you know I am all over with what I post about but usually everything is something that every female and mom can relate to lol. This year nautical was a bit of a fashion obsession of mine, from anchors to anything nautical or boat/beach related. 

Old Navy has had some super cute tops and love their pixie pants a new favorite.

I know there are a lot of different styles and types of tees or tanks but wanted to post some of my favorites from this summer that I wore. Will have more coming soon and will post links to where I got most of them. Believe it or not a lot of them were from Old Navy, Love Culture, Marshall's and TJ Maxx. Blonde, purple and magenta ombré hair

Here are the photos I promised in last post of my hair. In May before the end of the school year I had my hair colored again and went for a darker purple with magenta (orchid) ombré.

My hair color is done by a professional i no  longer do it myself and she uses pravana hair dye.  I really have enjoyed it but last summer had the purple ombré and have had purple or pink since I can't even remember how long ago. Time for a change so since I am planning to change it next week wanted to get a quick post up before I make the big change.

Long time no post...

Hey there followers and readers. Sorry I have been MIA had a crazy busy summer but will have a lot of cool new things coming soon. I am selling my prints still and you can find them on my fb page and ig page. I have sold many over the passed year and am excited for some new exciting additions along with website. 

I have been busy working on so many things but most important I enjoyed my summer with my girls. We went on a couple of amazing trips and really got to spend a lot of quality time together.  Family is always most important to me above all things and I am blessed to have the summer to spend with them. Sad they are back to school and my life is crazy hectic right now with their insane schedules. My oldest has started high school and my days are a lot of driving around picking up or dripping off. 

I will have some new home remodel photos and amazing decor tips for the fall. All budget friendly of course. Working on a fall fashion blog post. Have some amazing deals and finds that are great for the upcoming fall/winter season. Also will have updates on my Botox migraine treatment. So far it has been a life changer and amazing results. 

Also will be changing my hair from the purple ombré. Have to check and see if j posted any photos of my summer color. Last summer I had the purple ombré but this summer added some magenta and did more of my hair. Changing it next week hopefully so will check to see if I posted any photos if not will be sure to post some today.

Moroccan oil

This passed weekend I finally took the plunge and purchased the Moroccan oil shampoo and conditioner along with the light oil. Was a investment but after one use I already see a huge difference in my hair. Usually my hair tangles awful because I color my hair a lot and have bleached it many times, I had no issue combing it after my shower and then after towel drying applied a small drop to the ends of my hair with nothing else, it dryer amazing and feels so soft. Not to mention the amazing smell. 

I haven't posted in awhile because I have been very busy with volunteering at my daughters school and working on photography. We are also in the process of doing some work to our home. I can't wait to share all the photos when we are done. I have almost finished the dining room, my bedroom is complete just have to finish my closet update and organizing. Then we are redoing our living room with all new furniture, decor and rugs, painting, family room is getting a mini makeover with new rug, curtains, decor and more, guest bathroom will be gutted in a few weeks and totally redone and our kitchen is getting a mini update because we have to fix a cabinet with our garbage can that the track broke, also awhile back my youngest daughter spilled nail polish remover and it messed up the wood on our island plus from people sitting at the stools it got messed up so we are adding some stone and sanding down then staining it. I also remodeled my home office with stuff I already had and some diy projects to make it a office and craft room for my girls and I. I am updating entry way and much more. I will have lots of before and after photos along with some amazing deals I have found while shopping. Still hunting for rugs and some small items. We were excited to finally find a fabric sectional that customizable also. It is a huge change. We have always had leather but I wanted something comfy and not cold that my pillows don't slide off of. 

Stay tuned and promise I will be posting lots of new photos and work I have done with my photography in weeks to come. Fashion finds, home decor as remodeling pics and some more on my Moroccan oil experience. Thursday I have a hair appointment and my now orchid, purple ombré that has been worn for passed six months will be blonde with multi colored ombré ends and orchid underneath, spicing it up for the summer. 

Also excited for the summer. We are renting an apartment on the beach this weekend for Memorial Day weekend, going to Washington, D.C. for forth of July and hubby's birthday, surprising him! Then we are renting for a week in the keys again, same house we rented last summer. It is going to be a fun filled and memory filled summer for sure. 

Again stay tuned for the home renovation photos and posts. Have had a lot of contractors here from garage door guys, patio guys, outdoor kitchen, windows and new doors, paint, kitchen, bathroom, and more. Excited to share our journey and show my brown basic neutral home brighten up and come alive with lots of color and inspiration from the beach, and morrocan design. Hope everyone is doing great. I couldn't be busier or better since my Botox treatment things have been life changing. I had my third treatment last week and doing amazing.

Botox update

I have officially had my second treatment almost a month ago and have to say this is a life changer. Right around the time the next appointment was set for I started getting headaches and migraines again. Had three bad headache days and one bad migraine that lasted two days but that was the week before my appointment to get the shots again.

I went to my second appointment and it went great. I know 30 something shots in the head and neck sounds awful but the needle is so small and honestly I have to say that the pain is way less then the pain of migraines. Migraines had me laid up a few days a week and it was taking a toll on everything in my life. Most important it was taking time away from my children which is most important to me. I don't want to be laid up in bed for days and not be able to play or do stuff with them. 

I was sore again for a couple days, I would recommend but you don't have to, bing someone with you and try to make your appointment when you don't have anything much going on for a few days. My hubby took me and he took a day off to help me with the kids since I get a sore neck. 

I highly recommend this treatment. I don't take any daily medication anymore for the migraines or anything for that. It is so nice after years of taking different medications to be medication free finally. Very liberating and I am very happy. Wish I would have found this sooner it had helped with so much. Recycled cookie sheet diy

Recently I updated and moved my home office around to transform it into not just my office but a craft room for my girls and I. It is a large room and was not being used to it's full potential. 

I didn't have a budget to buy new items and used a lot of items I already had in the office along with some stuff I had stored away from remodel and design projects along with a drafting table I got my oldest daughter almost three years ago and never put together due to lack of room. 

I packed away all my holiday and seasonal decor along with storing all my craft materials and sectioned off the office by moving my desk to the center. Now we have a large home office craft room for my girls and mama:).  My youngest had asked me for a new desk and a magnetic board, she currently has her easel with dry erase and chalk board then a table with two chairs for her to play and make crafts on. I had a board I made her with fabric and ribbon like a corkboard kind of for displaying photos but she wanted a magnetic board. I planned to buy her one one of these days from ikea like my oldest daughter has in her room above her desk but again haven't had the money and did this update with no budget.

Today I spray painted two old cookie sheets I was going to throw away then used contact paper I got a couple years ago for the off or that match the colors we painted the walls. I let her pick out some cute accessories like magnets and a cute pen holder and basket from target dollar section. All I have left to do is hot glue a blue ribbon to the back and tie a bow so I have something to hang it from:). She told me she loved it and best of all mama made it with love, so cute. Below are photos of the finished and in progress diy and more to come of other repurposed and recycled items I used to redo the office and make it somewhere I can enjoy with my girls. Since I did this we spend so much more time together all of us, when I am working on my laptop or business stuff my girls are drawing or doing homework right beside me best idea ever:).

Amazing holiday lights

Every year this time of year I take my daughters to see some of the amazing holiday light displays from home owners, neighborhoods and local parks along with some churches that go all out.

Thursday night we went out to Plantation Acres to visit the Hyatt house, which will be on Mondays episode of the Great light fight. After that we drove a few minutes away to see one of the best light shows I have seen in awhile, put on by Plantation Baptist Church. They have thousands of led lights that are synchronized to music and wow what an amazing treat for your eyes:). It really put us in the holiday spirit. 

Tonight we are going to Trade Winds park which I use to go to as a child and use to take my oldest daughter to every year, but they had stopped doing it and this year re started it. It is a 3 mile drive thru an amazing display of lights:). They also have 3d features that I am interested to see:). Will have more photos tomorrow of that.
