Birthday month, pretty packages

Today my Spell and the Gypsies package arrived. Placed two orders and one was on my porch when I got home today. So excited I have been eyeing these skirts for a few weeks then try to order all their graphic tees and tanks when they come out with new ones but missed one while on vacation. Luckily I found it on eBay from Australia so it is on its way, then I ended up ordering a jacket, white top and mid length blue floral dress also. Those should arrive next week. The shipping was so quick now that they have their US site, and the customer service is amazing. I had some sizing questions and they answered me right back, they were on point too cause I went with the mediums and everything fits so good. I will be wearing these pieces a lot. I posted everything earlier this week for you when I ordered.

Love this graphic tank with eagle and guns, matches amazing with my new floral high low handkerchief style skirts. The orange is the revolver skirt and has the cutest lace trimmed pockets. I got the below tank off eBay to go with it then plan to wear the lighter floral skirt and graphic tank together.

Gypsy witch singlet was sold out when I was ordering my festival fox tank but found on eBay for $50. A lot of them were selling for $100-180 so I think I got lucky.

I have been admiring these squash turquoise style necklaces for some time and found this one with the feathers which are my favorite on eBay. I ordered from a store out of TN, was only $17 for the earrings and necklace. Perfect for my boho gypsy looks.

This was only $5 and couldn't resist since I love Cattle Skulls and turquoise.

Saw this dress was released a few days after I ordered my skirts and tank so had to grab this with some other pieces I have been wanting. Also got some stuff from Pam & Gela I posted earlier this week that arrived then waiting on two other packages from their huge warehouse sale, a Nordstrom order, then more eBay finds. Can't wait for everything to arrive so I can clean out my closet. For sure will be rocking these new looks this week and I will post photos of everything else once they arrive.

Hope everyone has an amazing weekend, my kids go back to school a week from Monday. Sad to see summer end as always, love having my kids home and being able to spend some quality time together. Plan to adventure some this week I have been wanting to take them to Butterfly world, Rapids water park and then of course the beach. Praying for some sunny days. Enjoy the end of the summer and can't wait to continue to celebrate my birthday all month with you. Be sure to enter my celebration of reaching 20k followers on Instagram with a contest for my birthday month with 3 packages containing some of my favorite brands, shops and designers. The entry deadline is Aug 31 and I will announce a winner by Sept 6. Peace love and light to all xoxo

From Leather to Lace

Today my post is sharing two looks I wore the passed two days, one is a more rock n roll vibe look with leather and studs and then my other look doesn't have any lace but it's the opposite extreme of the leather look. I decided today to go with a classy Audrey inspired flared full mid length skirt and cropped heart print sweater with heals. My heals I borrowed from my daughter and they are super cute with an ankle strap, gold buckle and simple strap across the toes.

My lace look if you want to call it that. Both the top and bottom are from Forever 21. The skirt was under $25 and the top was $17.

The shoes are from Love Culture and cost under $30. Necklaces are by Juicy Couture, one is a blinged out lock the other a key.

The strongest actions for a woman is to love herself, be herself, and shine amongst those who never believed she could. She builds others up because she knows what it is like to be torn down. She never judges others because she has never walked a day in their shoes and knows the struggles she has had to endure all while being judged by others. She doesn't compete with others because she only wants to be a better version of herself not someone she doesn't know, because just because someone seems to have it together on the outside she knows things are not always what they seem. She treats others with kindness, because she was raised to treat people the way she wants to be treated. She is unique, strong, confident and beautiful.

Something I wrote with a combo of quotes and inspirational pieces I love. I am myself and I love myself. I don't judge or compete and especially don't copy.

My rocker look I wore some fabulous faux leather, high waisted leggings I found on eBay for under $6 last week paired with this fabulous sheer studded top I got awhile back from Kohls by Rock and Republic.

It was raining when I took these shots and got a huge rain drop on the front of my top which can be seen slightly on the left front. Didn't notice till after I looked over all the photos.

My necklace and bracelet is also by Rock and Republic from Kohls and were clearance finds a few years back. The top was missing a few studs but had some in a little bag with the tag so I got it and sewed the replacement ones on myself. I got it for 75% off so you can't beat that. Then the jewelry was also clearance because the necklace was part of a set and only had one then the bracelet was stretched out but I fixed that also just buy clipping then tying the elastic pieces tighter. Sometimes it pays to check for damaged or open items because you can save a lot. I don't mind fixing something if the price is good.

Last thing I left out from my look are my vintage thrift store find Frye boots. They are in amazing shape, I have had them almost a decade and they had to be close to 5-10 years old when I got them. They are very 80's looking but then again I don't know for sure how old they really are. They looked new when I got them 8-9 years ago. I paid under $30 for them.

I hope you enjoyed my looks. The top outfit you can find the pieces still cause they are recent buys, the Juicy jewelry is a few years old but they always have cute similar styles every year. The bottom outfit the top and jewelry are old along with the boots but the leggings I will add a link for the shop I got mine from and also Walmart had some cute leather leggings in store.

Have a great week and excited to share some other cute styles this week. Have some amazing motto leggings in olive and black with ribbed leg patch I found on eBay, some rust color Rag and Bone jeans, lots of Pam&Gela tees and tanks, more cute skirts and some other pieces I have not shared yet this season. I planned to shoot some looks for my blog but got rained out over the weekend. We have had the worst gloomy rainy days since last week, so bad areas have flooding and it ruined my plans but had all my outfits laid out and accessorized so I plan to wear most of them this week to share either way. I really want to get some good full length non selfie style photos for my blog but for now I hope the selfies are good for everyone. I do my best to get in as much as I can. Luckily I have long arms and I love my new iPhone 6S plus, I got the rose gold and love it.

Happy holiday shopping and style hunting. Have a great week ❤️ Xoxo

Audrey inspired, black and white polka dot ootd

Audrey Inspired Classy Look

A little black and white style for you this lovely Friday afternoon. Was going through all my photos from the passed few weeks and still have a bunch I have not uploaded or shared on social media or my blog. I hate to post a bunch of outfits each day but was laid up and then had some technical issues with my phone, so I am a bit behind on posts. I would normally just discard some photos which I have done, but there are some I just have to share.

First up I felt this Audrey Hepburn inspired look was one that needed to be shared. This is just another example of how you can take a graphic tee shirt or tank then style it to make a classy outfit perfect for work, or a night out.

I have always loved black and white photography has that vintage feel and I love all things vintage. How much do you think, if you had to guess this outfit cost? Keep in mind I have on some simple black heels, with a slightly pointed two and mid heel by Rock Republic that aren't pictured, and then some classic pearl and rhinestone earrings.  I will go over the outfit and break it down, then do my best to add some links where you can find similar or same pieces, then I will tell you how much the outfit cost when I am done. Let's see if anyone guesses right.

My necklace is a Chanel inspired pearl necklace I found on EBay. Its half black and half white with the C logo enamel black and white charms. I purchased this necklace and another blush with cream pearls from the same buyer back a few years ago and paid $7-10 a piece.

You can find a real Chanel necklace similar to mine here Chanel Black and White pearls $1790
Mine of course is not real they are inspired by and I got these awhile back, I was not able to find the same style but did find the above one for $65.  Still high priced but lovely necklace.
If I come across any similar deals I will update with a link.

Love off the shoulder graphic tee $19.99 Tara Lynn's Boutique 10% off link

Polka Dot Chiffon Maxi skirt prices vary by size Polka Dot Chiffon Bohemian Maxi Skirt Ebay
Xl was $12 from this seller, but you can go to Ebay and search Polka dot chiffon maxi and a bunch of different sellers pop up, I went with the one of the first ones and less expensive.

I saw a few of these skirts online and for $45-70. I wasn't sure how it would look on and if I was going to love it so I didn't really want to spend that much for it without really knowing, so I started the search. Sure enough good old eBay always come through for me. It isn't as well made as some of the ones I saw listed for a higher price, or who knows could be the same skirt, the stores have to get find them somewhere and resell them but I really love the quality. It has a nice lining and isn't see through. At first I thought I would maybe need a slip or under skirt to make it look fuller and keep it from being see through but that wasn't needed. I ended up loving it so much I ordered it in an emerald green solid and then a floral print. This skirt I paid under $10 for only down fall was it took a couple weeks to arrive. It is from China and when ordering from China remember their sizes are a lot smaller. I went with a XL and it fits me perfect. It has an elastic waist and I can wear it lower on my waist for a long floor sweeping skirt, or higher on my waist for the perfect ankle length. I can't say enough times how much I love this skirt. I have worn it several times with graphic tees, and I have worn it with black and white dressier tops, which make it actually look like a really fancy dress.

I purchased this bracelet almost two years ago so was not able to find the same one, did find a pretty rhinestone burst bracelet that would look pretty with some strands of plain pearls

Also found this triple layer pearl bracelet Lynne Pearl Bracelet

My rhinestone star burst, and multi stand pearl bracelet I purchased at Charming Charlie's when my oldest daughter had a Gatsby themed dance for middle school. Added it for a little extra touch of glam.

So how much did you guess the cost of this look was? My tee was roughly $16. Skirt was $8, necklace $7, earrings were a hand me down so free but you could find simple earrings for under $5 and the shoes were on sale for $19. So that would make it around $50 give or take a few dollars. If you take away accessories the tee and skirt cost under $25. That's awesome for such a classy look.

Audrey wore a lot of black and white, along with being seen in polka dot often.

Just something about that skirt always makes me think of this fashion and style icon.

*Photos are not mine, all photos are from google search or Pinterest.

I love vintage clothing, always looking for real vintage pieces still in good condition and in my size to add to my wardrobe.

Before I sign off since I am posting black and white wanted to share another post that was left out. Call it one from the cutting room floor.

Dress, similar style $14.99 Trust Black and White striped dress

I got this cute black and white striped tank dress off eBay for under $10 and the faux leather cropped jacket with studs was from Love Culture when the store was closing. It was marked down to $8 and was 65% off that. Another cute outfit for under $25. Love this jacket, has a quilted leopard print lining and snap buttons up the front. Has that eighties vibe with the wide waste band and wrist bands? I love rocker chic looks as much as I love vintage and bohemian chic looks.

Excited for all the new pieces I have found lately. Stocked up on some new graphic tees for fall and winter, jeans, leggings, mid to long skirts, boots and more. Can't wait to style them all and post more outfit ideas and inspiration for everyone. Also excited to be taking part in a style challenge, I have seen these on social media and was thinking it would be fun to take part. I usually just wake up and do my morning routine then walk into my closet and whatever piece whether a top, bottom, dress or shoes calls out to me, I then style an outfit around it. Also some days it's my mood or the weather that has a lot of play in what I wear.

Again this is an older jacket but was able to find a faux cropped leather jacket on eBay

Hope everyone has a fun Friday and dliteful weekend. Ty for passing by my blog and make sure to check out my links on my side bar to some of my favorite stores. Lots of great shops I love. I am going to be adding more this weekend. Also have some promo codes to add as well. ✌️❤️

Today my hubby was off and met my cousin at the beach with her kids to enjoy this lovely summer day. The water is warm and it was really an aweome day.

Shared this beautiful top I got at Forever 21 over on my Instagram page today, paired it with a pair of linen white shorts by Roxy, then dressed it up with a new crystal necklace I got from Tilly's from their bogo deal on accesories for $3. Wearing some Lacey Ryan beaded bracelets from her collection at Maurices and two of my Lokai bracelets.

Love this top has such an amazing fit feels like it was made for me and for $22 it's a bargain for me. I almost got it in black too.

Better shot so you can sorta see the shorts I have on but they are shorter length. Love Roxy and love Forever 21

Another forever 21 score the from the other day, this 3/4 length sleeve, mid length black dress with white embroidered floral design was gorgeous couldn't pass it up. Finally a medium that fit my chest. Hate having to buy a large and have it huge everywhere else.

Necklace is from Lacey Ryan for Maurices. This is my favorite piece I own from her collection. This triple layer necklace is always on repeat. Check out maurices.com and enter Lacey Ryan in the search, also check out their cute clothing I have purchased a lot from them since finding their online site thanks to the Lacey Ryan collection, I received a necklace as a gift and then went on the hunt for more piece and found them here. She also has her own site you can find her on Instagram @laceyryaninc and her link is in her profile. I will be adding that to my favorite stores soon promise.

My arm party this day was Lacey Ryan beaded bracelets and Lokai stack, I recently got the camo wildlife bracelet to add to my collection. Check them out on Instagram @livelokai

Maxi dress was a gift from a delray beach shop I have worked for styling, curating their online shop which launched this weekend and modeling for a their social media site. The dress is made by O'Neill and then got this gorgeous lace duster from Pacsun on clearance a couple months ago. Necklace is Lacey Ryan along with a couple of her bracelets mixed with my Lokai stack.

Another shot of this lovely dress, wish you could see the back, has a strap across where your bra strap would go mid back then open back all the way down to waist, gorgeous. Also love the lace crochet detail along the bottom of the ruffle. Has adjustable straps. Also has a high slit up the right side of skirt, gorgeous and love this maxi.

Skull tank from last fall by Target, paired with a kimono from Forever 21. Necklace is a silver lariat style chain with crescent moon and star. Got this at Tilly's on clearance for $2 love it.

Shorts are from Fashionjunkee.com and are the denim boyfriend shorts by sneak peek denim. Love these, destroyed denim is my fave. Will be working on a post for how to destroy your jeans. I know there are a lot of destroyed jeans and shorts available now because they are really trending right now but when they aren't trending I love to do some diy distressing myself. I have lots of fun tips I have learned over the years from bleach, using a cheese grater, scissors, and sand paper. I will get a old pair of jeans an do a step by step taking lots of photos even thinking of making a video to post. Will see if I have time before vacation.

Thank you again to everyone and enjoy your upcoming Friday and weekend. Xoxo ✌️❤️
