Who What Wear for Target

Hey there everyone, happy almost Friday. Excited the weekend is so close ready for the beach again and working on a little tan for Rockville coming up. Today I am going to post about the new line Target released that I finally got a chance to try on and purchase some items from. I saw the collection before it was officially released since Target is an affiliate program I work with. I saw so many cute styles but figured it would be hard to get my hands on pieces like the Lilly Pulitzer collection. I have to say I'm so happy that my local stores have stocked plenty of items and sizes then I have to say this collection is more my style then the Lilly pieces were. I love the army green, black, white and some bold pattern pieces that I have seen. I also love the Bardot styles, off the shoulder tops and dresses. I purchased two of the woven Bardot dresses, one in black and one in blush. I also got a Bardot striped dress, black top then a distressed knee length denim skirt, chambray button down tank, a pair of shorts and a black and white polka dot skirt. I'm looking for the army green vest and dress still in my size but everything has really impressed me that I have tried on.

The materials are amazing and most pieces have fit nicely. I am larger busted so I like that they have plus sizes available, I thought I might need a XL or 1X in the button down tops but so far the items I have been able to find seem to run larger then most of the other styles I have tried at Target. I was happy about this since most of the left over sizes were smaller. The Woven Bardot dress I have a small in the blush and medium in the black. There isn't much of a difference in the small and medium but I would for sure prefer the medium since it is supposed to have an oversized look to it but the small fit me and loved the blush. I'm carrying the small blush with me when I go to other stores or when out just in case I come across a medium but I am currently on a diet and new fitness routine, the dress fit nicely and really I can wear it now but the medium has more of the over sized look. It could also be that black is a more slimming color.

Let's check out some of my fave pieces and keep in mind that the pricing on this collection is amazing. The Bardot dresses were $34.99 and the striped one was $29.99. The pieces I found have been priced from $14.99-39.99. These are great prices for some cute staple pieces you can add to your closet at a fraction of the price compared to higher end designs that look almost exact.

This is an outfit with all the pieces are by Who What Wear and they can all be found at your local Target, some pieces are still available online. Also keep in mind most styles are available in plus sizes. This cape blazer is a favorite. These have been very popular with other bloggers and celebrities. I have seen styles of this same look all over the Internet and for way over $75 this one is only $39.99. The button down top is white with black polka dots, this pattern is on shorts and a skirt also. I have the skirt and love it. I tried it on and loved the fit but don't need any long sleeve tops right now it's so hot where I live 95% of the year and I just packed away my winter wardrobe to make room in my closet.

The blazer is a staple piece especially if you have a career style wardrobe. It looks great with dresses and skirts or as you see above with jeans.

Another favorite look from their line is this army green long military inspired vest. I haven't been able to find my size yet but I am not finished searching still have a few Target stores within 20 minutes from my home to check. I love it paired with the striped dress I purchased or with jeans.

Here is the Bardot striped dress with the vest. Found this photo on Pinterest to show how cute the vest pairs with the dress. Every piece from this collection really is great for mixing and matching which I love.

I got the striped Dress in a medium mostly because of my chest size. The small fit but felt like it was to tight across  my chest and looked weird where the arms are. I love how this has a thicker fabric so it isn't see through then love the A line fit very flattering for most body types. I feel if you are tiny it may not be as figure flattering it's a lot of material and you may be over whelmed but would have to see it on different bodies. I loved it on me and I have a stripe obsession. It was $29.99 so couldn't pass it up.

Above photo shows more items from the collection. I wasn't able to find the bags but my local Targets had a well stocked variety of the styles, sizing was mostly XS-M larges were sold out then a lot of the plus sizes are available.

Another shot of the vest with a green dress under. Hoping to find this vest in a medium or large this week, tomorrow going to hit three more stores after work in hunt. Also would love to try this dress on, I love army green and have a lot of pieces I could pair with this.

I purchased this skirt above is the plus size photo of the style. I love the mid length skirts that hit right below the knee I have a collection of these style skirts in many colors, fabrics and prints.

These shorts also are very cute for spring and summer the fit is amazing then the pattern is cute very versatile for mixing and matching with other pieces from the collection.

I found this top in a Medium and was my first purchase then the Bardot woven blush dresses. Love the tie side and off the shoulder style. I wore it with the same print as the shorts above but in the skirt got so many compliments on the outfit. Need to snap some pics forgot to this morning, had a hectic morning.

I tried on this skirt without any intentions of buying it but once I had it on had to get one. Not all that long ago I got a cute lighter colored, patched looking skirt by Citizens of Humanity. This is similar fit but has a darker tone denim and love the frayed hem. Very on trend right now and with my job this is perfect for pairing with a blouse or graphic tee.

This is the Woven Bardot dress in blush. $34.99.

In stores they carry it in black and blush online they have black and olive green.

Above is the blush I tried on in small. Its long and goes below my knees but has a side slit on both sides with tie waist. Can be worn off the shoulder or on. Excuse the wrinkles took this photo in the fitting room.

This is the striped Bardot dress in a medium. Looks so cute with a thin pop of color belt or you can wear black leather and even a metallic belt. Would love to get the cape blazer and then the green vest, to pair with this and the other pieces I have purchased.

I will have more photos coming soon of my pieces posted on my social media then I will be sure to add some here as well.  You can head over to Target.com to check out what's still available online for purchase and be sure to head over to your local Target. Again here we have a lot of the styles, I didn't try on a few pieces like the blue and yellow floral print skirt and the other dresses cause they aren't really my style but if they fit like the other pieces from the collection then they are for sure going to be a hit if you are into the prints and styles. Overall I got 3 dresses, 2 skirts, 2 tops, and a pair of shorts for $200-250. Make sure if you don't have the Target Red card you grab one so you can save 5% off your purchase and upload the cartwheel app also, I use both every time I shop Target. I also make sure to check around the store for specials they have where you can send a text for a discount or gift card when you spend a certain amount.

Happy fashion hunting to all and let me know if you have tried on or purchased any pieces from this new collection from Target. I would love to hear what other fashion lovers think of this line. I know it is one of my favorites for sure. I have always loved Mossimo I remember when I was a teen I use to buy Mossimo jeans at Dillard's.

Have a great end of the week, xoxo.

  1. The Bardot dress is my favorite I couldn't find the pink but did find black. I feel they run large also, I normally would wear a large in most dresses from target and fit in a medium in this dress with plenty of room. Hope you find the vest I would love to find more in my size.
