Fringe, frayed, feathers, and fedoras

Festival season is underway and right now all the stores and boutiques are stocked with 70's inspired, boho chic pieces for that perfect bohemian, gypsy look.

Festival style is all about fringe, frayed denim, fedora hats and feathers among many other styles. I have gathered some of my favorite F word pieces for Festival season from Forever 21 to share with you.

Starting off the F's with fringe. This skirt is one of my favorite pieces from the Forever 21 curated, festival shop they have on their website right now. I had to order one because it is adorable and so versatile for summer. I love how they have it styled with a tied up graphic tank and low gladiator style sandals. Perfect for wearing to a music festival, the beach, summer vacation, BBQ, out to dinner or a girls night, the options are endless. You can add some heels and a cute flowing top then layer with jewelry for a more evening styled look.

A combination of fringe and frayed here with a halter style faux suede, fringe top, paired with frayed bottom, high waisted denim cut off shorts. This screams music festival for sure.

Add this faux leather wrap necklace with feather charms to any of these outfits for the perfect accessory.

Every true music festival or concert goer  knows you have to have a great back pack or cross-body bag to carry your necessities from sunscreen, ponchos, blanket, wipes and many other items. This fringe backpack is great and matches with the true 70's boho inspired feel that has become the classic festival look.

Another bag option is this cross-body bucket bag with fringe details. You want to have a cross-body or backpack style bag so you can be hands free and have your bag secure to your body with all your belongs while dancing or throwing your hands up to the music.

If you don't need to carry much and just
want something small for your ID and phone this smaller cross-body, studded bag with tassel detail is perfection. It comes in a few shades if black isn't what you want you can also get brown.

Cut off distressed, frayed bottom shorts are a great festival piece that you can wear all throughout the summer and you can't go wrong wearing shorts with a crop top of tee shirt.

Another choice for cut off frayed shorts in a lighter less distressed look. I personally like to go with a darker denim for festivals or outside concerts where you may be sitting on the ground just in case of rain which can lead to a muddy mess.

These fringe ankle detail sandals are super cute for a festival. I use to wear flip flops since they are rubber but if it does rain you will be flinging mud all over yourself in flip flops. I tend to try to wear something closed toed because I like to make my way closer to the stage and don't like getting my bare toes crushed while making my way through the crowd. I always love to be closer to the stage, the closer you are the louder the music, and the better the view of course plus you are in the midst of the action so you get the amazing rush of being at a rock concert.

Fedoras are a great way to protect your face and hair from the sun as well as providing some shade. These all day concerts can be draining so any shade and sun protection is a must for sure.

I have a real feather tattoo on my arm but if you don't want to commit to the permanent ink they make amazing realistic looking faux tattoos now. This feather tattoo is super cute and goes great with theme of my blog post.

Stay tuned have some L word festival pieces coming up next post. Lace, layers, lace up shoes and all types of clothing with laces. Hope you enjoy my festival F word essentials from Forever 21. They have so many amazing pieces at affordable prices not just for the festival season but ideal for the summer. Happy shopping. Retail therapy is always the best, I know it takes away any stress I have or any worries I might have on my mind shifting my thoughts to what cute outfits I can wear for the upcoming Rockville music festival here in Florida and for the summer. Don't worry be happy always...

Festival season is almost here

Festival season is among us and that means time for some of my favorite fashion trends. I love the bohemian inspired fashions I have since I was a young girl. I always loved to look at old photos of my mom and dad wishing my mother had saved her wardrobe from the 70's. I have always loved old graphic and band tees, bell bottoms, high waisted skirts or pants, cut off shorts, fringe, suede, crochet, lace and the gorgeous eclectic jewelry with large natural stones all mounted in chunky silver settings.

Festival season means floral headbands, layered boho chic jewelry, crochet and fringe tops, cut off shorts and the higher the waist the better, this year a large trend we are seeing return is laces. Not lace alone that is also very trendy still but laces. From shoes and sandals to lace up tops and pants. I have seen some of the cutest lace up crop tops and body suits, not just with front laces but side laces or lace up backs. I absolutely love this trend. From some of my favorite designers like Pam & Gela creators of Juicy Couture and now their current line Pam & Gela, to even more affordable options like Forever 21 which this last year I have found myself sharing more and more of their styles on my blog.

I recently purchased the cutest pair of lace cut off, distressed Jean shorts from a store I found over a year ago online called Fashion Junkee. I then was on the hunt for some more cute Jean shorts, skirts and tops for our up coming music festival in Jacksonville named Rockville. We attend it yearly and enjoy the weekend of many bands and festivities. I would love to attend Coachella one year but until my girls are both older for now we will stay local. My oldest daughter is 16 and last year we brought her with us, she loved it and this year she counted down the days to the announcement of which bands would be performing along with the dates. Last year we had some horrible weather the first day in the mid portion of the shows which led to getting soaked and later mud all over but we were prepared. I have ocd so I always over pack and of course had my bag with ponchos, change of shoes, and more.

I love the weeks before the festival planning what I will wear. You want to be comfortable be at the same time it is so hot here but you also have to be prepared for rain. One minute it is sunny and gorgeous the next it is down pouring and winds are gusting then before you know it the storm blows over and the sun is back out but now it's hot and very humid. You 100% don't waste time flat ironing or doing your hair in any style that won't hold up to rain and lots of humidity. I love to wear my hair in braids, a messy bun or half up half down with a floral headband or bandana. I always am cautious what accessories I choose because with rain you don't want to wear something cheap that once wet will turn you green or black, also you don't want to risk ruining or damaging anything you really love.

One tip I have learned over many years of buying jewelry and being a bargain shopper, I don't always but sterling silver or gold sometimes I find cute pieces I have to own that are costume style or less expensive alternatives which will change your skin color. I use a spray clear coat or sometimes smaller pieces I will use a clear nail polish to coat the metal and smaller stones that may be set in the jewelry to provide a protective coating. This works amazing just make sure that larger pieces you use a spray which you can find at Joann's or Hobby Lobby even Home Depot and Lowe's carries these as well as Walmart and Target. You can find in the craft department or sometimes in the paint department. I use Krylon clear coat, do not purchase a matte or high gloss finish just the basic clear. I also use OPI clear top coat nail polish as mentioned above for smaller pieces like rings and pendants or over smaller stones set in the jewelry.

Over the next week or two I will be featuring lots of amazing styles and designers for the festival season as well as for the end of spring and of course summer. Lots of cropped jeans, tops, tanks, cut off shorts, cut sun dresses and much more. I also have some great products I am going to be reviewing for your skin, hair and more.  Enjoy and can't wait to share some of my faves for the upcoming season...

Above are the lace cut off shorts and some lace up flats from Fashion Junkee. The tank is by @SiennaMoonLa on IG and the floral headband is an older piece I got from Love Culture. Black fringe backpack was a free gift from Victoria Secret. Think it's cute for concerts or festivals and since it was free don't have to worry about if it rains it getting ruined...

Some cute spring trends from Express. They have some amazing cropped jeans and graphic tops along with this light weight black jacket perfect for those cooler spring nights. Love the style and made sure to get a couple colors of these motto cropped jeans.

One of my recent ootd posts from IG is this tank by Pam & Gela which is on sale now on their site for spring. The jeans are by Hollister and are cropped distressed jeans, I also got a pair with the bottoms cute and frayed in alms of the same style they are higher waisted and very figure flattering. The kimono is an older piece I got from Fashion Junkee website. You can find them on IG @Fashionjunkeedotcom.

Have shared this Pam & Gela tank previously but wanted to share these lace up back pants. The ankles have a lace up feature on the back bottom ankle. These are a track motto style pant in army green and you can also find these on sale on their site. I got mine off eBay for under $50 and adore them super comfy and stylish.

Excuse my pose here lol was trying to get the holes in my pants and ended up standing like a dork lol. But was only shot I could show you the holes in my Pam & Gela Betsee Sweats I scored off eBay for $20 they have them on their site now and have matching sweatshirts also. The tee is a fave new brand I have found on Etsy called Punk Masters. Love their designs and the tee shirts are all super soft. This one says Art/Punk and is a heather purple tone. Matches my hair almost perfect.

New designer I am collaborating with from Etsy, 31ements and you can find her IG @31ements and she has a link to her store. Lots of amazing hand made jewelry, I will have a more detailed post coming soon and her shops link will be added to my favorite shops this weekend.

While I was away I got a lot of mail one was this tank by Pam & Gela, was sad I missed out on this design from their current spring sale. They have the best sales but make sure to grab what you like quickly because they sell out fast. I had missed this "Yay" tank which was available in white and black but lucked out and found this one new with tags on Poshmark and for less then the sale by a few dollars so was meant to be. I did grab a few tanks from their sale and have a few more items I am hoping won't sell out before I get paid next week. The brushes are from the LiveGlam Morphe brush subscription box and enjoy their brushes so much. I got this monthly box for my teen daughter she loves makeup and does my makeup for me all the time now want her to have the best brushes for her collection.

A couple more Pam & Gela scores off eBay. I am super in love with their fashion line just in case you haven't noticed over the last couple of years and I am always looking for designs I missed from prior collections as well as pieces to complete sets like these animal print sweats that match my cut off top.

Here you can see both together, I got the top awhile back and have a cute skirt but have been looking for the sweat pants for a while finally found them in a medium.

Last up may have shared this in my last post from my vacation have to look back and see how far into my trip I was when I last posted. Tomorrow I will be going on my laptop to add links, where to shop links for my pieces that are still available as well as updating my fave shops and adding some new discount codes. I will also be updating my tabs for favorite fashion trends and home decor. Adding spring and summer looks along with lots of posts coming with festival looks, spring and summer fashion trends and beauty reviews.

This outfit above is a Pam & Gela tank I got off Blue and Cream for $46 on sale. Paired with Jbrand jeans, Target flannel and FreeBird boots.

Everyone have an amazing weekend and keep an eye out for lots of updates coming next week. Been laid up this week due to my injections I received on Tuesday but really wanted to post something since over my vacation I have received some amazing new products and styles to share as well as my research for spring and summer styles I am excited to share. Happy shopping and deal hunting to all. Xoxo

Friday fun post, camo and military style with some ootd sharing..

Military Inspired Outfits & more...

Happy Friday fashion lovers. Wanted to do a post before the weekend to add a few of my ootd posts from this week that I just posted today since I have not been feeling well all week. I am happy to say I am feeling better and praying that I will continue to feel better till my next treatment in another 4-6 weeks.

I have always had a love for military influenced fashion pieces and wanted to share a few favorites I found on eBay while online shopping yesterday.

Adore this army green vest and my mind just races with all kinds of cute pieces I already own that I could style this with not just for the fall and winter but even spring. I love how they paired it with a pair of distressed denim shorts, sandals and a small bag. I ordered this off eBay for $15 and can't wait to receive it.

Who doesn't need an amazing camouflage jacket? I ordered two last night, I decided on this amazing patches jacket with cargo pockets and then went with an oversized camo and floral print jacket, both were under $40. I will post a photo of the floral and camo one shortly.

I love to pair my camo gear and army green pieces with black muscle tanks or graphic tees. I have picked up several Spiritual Gangster tanks, tees and sweatshirts on eBay for under $30 some as low as $12. Love this graphic, "Do all things with love". Great quote. ✌️❤️

Scooped up this cute fringe side graphic tank, "Be yourself," also found on eBay and was $15 with shipping. Can't wait to pair this with camo or black jeans.

//All items above I found while doing one of my nightly fashion searches on Ebay except for this lovely suede skirt I found on Polyvore and link is in a prior post.//

Last up found this cute skirt on Polyvore playing with some outfit ideas last night and had to order for my closet. Love suede and fringe for fall. Can't wait to pair this with some cute fringe heels or sandals and some of my many graphic tees or tanks and even some cute tops I have. Love this style and anything vintage or bohemian inspired.

My camo skirt can be found here: Camo Pencil skirt $29.99

Save 10% if you use my link to Tara Lynn's Boutique

One of my own ootd posts from this week. I found this amazing pencil skirt in a camo print last year from Tara Lynn's boutique. For $29 it was a great find and is one of my favorite mid length skirts. I paired it with a black graphic tank, from Lola and Darla, and army green sweater style vest.

//Tank Top by Lola and Darla, can be found:  I'd Copy Me too tank
Also available in white and is $32//

//My Camo Cowhide Nine West heels are many years old but found these similar style: Camo Heels//

//Sweater Vest was also an older item in my closet so did some searching and found:
Sierra Trading Sweater Vest//

//Also liked this non sweater material, open front, sheer material vest, with cute zip up front and tie sides as an option for a similar look:
Cichic Army Green Vest//

Of course being such a huge lover of camouflage I do own several pairs of camo shoes, from sandals, sneakers and of course heels. These cute heels are made by Nine West and I got this a few years ago for under $40 at TJ Maxx. They are a cowhide material and love the pattern. It also helps they are unbelievably comfortable. For me I often don't wear heels because they aren't the most comfortable and I am on my feet a lot running around so I like to have on comfortable shoes. I am not one to give up my comfort for height like some ladies, I am luckily tall for a lady being 5'8-5'9 barefoot but I do love to wear heels with skirts because they do make your legs look amazing. If I buy a pair of heels and discover they aren't comfortable after a few wears or adding a gel insert, I donate or sell them. Sadly usually I can't tell till after I wear them several times.

My jewelry is always important to me. I don't like to leave the house without or j feel bare. Here I picked out a Turkish style gold tone necklace that was a gift along with some gold Alex and Ani bangles and my favorite ring, a bison skull ring made by Fawning in love, one of my favorite Etsy shops.

Totem Necklace, Totem Pole Necklace, Spike Necklace, Turquoise Necklace, Howlite Necklace, Gypsy Necklace, Boho Necklace, bohemian necklace

//Turquoise necklace I am wearing is no longer available but you can purchase a similar look, pictured above by same designer here: Totem Necklace, Turquoise $22//

Above I am wearing a turquoise or aqua blue, fringe sleeved tank with Aztec print I actually found at Sports Authority a few years back when shopping for a camping trip. It is made by Rip Curl and have it in a few colors. I have always loved fringe details and I adore this tank's fringed sleeve detail. I paired it with some Aztec printed leggings, super comfy and soft. These are cream with turquoise, aqua, coral and black Aztec pattern. These are from Bohemian Vibe Boutique. The turquoise skull pendant I made while in TN with my girls at one of those bead stores. Have a matching bracelet as well.

//Leggings are sold out but they have a few other styles still in stock:

//My Buddha bracelet was made by Gypsy Haven on Etsy and she has some similar styles in her shop along with lots of other great handmade creations: Gypsy Haven Etsy, Buddha Beaded Bracelet//

My turquoise bar style necklace with silver fringe is from Fawning in Love on Etsy, the arrowhead silver bangle with turquoise stones is from Rocksbox when they had one of their inventory clearance sales. The beaded Buddha bracelet was handmade by a lovely lady I met on Instagram, she has a shop on Etsy. You can find her on Instagram @gypsyhavenjewel and she has a link to her etsy store in her profile.

//Top is really old and unsure where it was from or even how long I have had it. I do however have the link for the skirt, the triple layer faux stone necklaces are no longer available though, from Forever 21, but they have lots of similar styles. Also check out my post on the new Fall line at Maurice's by Lacey Ryan she has some amazing layered necklaces.  I just ordered close to $200 worth of her new line,  love everything.//

//Vintage inspired, a line, button down front, jean skirt: Forever21 Denim Skirt//

Last up the same skirt I have had on repeat many times since I got it, this vintage feel, a line, denim, button front skirt from Forever21. Was going for a simple look so paired it with this light weight white tank with blue floral design, added the hand made beaded wood belt, which matches the back of my tank. The back of my tank is an open back, with thin straps that are joined together by a wooden O ring. Bracelet was a find from NC and is hand made with shades of blue, brown and gold beads.

Necklaces are from Forever21 and is a three layer set. The shortest one has a faux opalite stone pendant, then mid is a feather and longest is a faux brown agate slice stone. Still rocking my orange and coral, blonde ombré from summer. Think I am going to keep it for fall since orange is a great fall shade and will look fabulous with all the fall colors.

Hope you enjoyed my post and excited to be bringing another feature designer to the blog soon, along with some more fall trends. Have a great weekend xoxo ✌️❤️

P.S:  I am currently working on adding all the clickable links now to my blog, as I mentioned awhile back I was out a laptop for a while and was strictly blogging from my phone.  I still use my phone a lot to write blog posts but I am working on editing all old and newer posts with more details on the items I am wearing, where to find them or similar looks along with editing any typos from my amazing auto correct on my iPhone.  Thank you all for your patience and I can't wait to make the blog easier for you to read, navigate and my posts easier for you to locate pieces that you like.  Have a good one xoxo

Spring trends for 2015

Last night super late I was inpsired to post a article about Spring and Summer fashion trends for 2015, it was late and I was posting from my iphone, I appologize for typos and rambling.  I blog for fun, because I love fashion, am passionate about finding trends for less, and I love to share my finds with others.  To note quickly I am not a writer nor have I ever claimed to be one, I am a stay at home mom who has a lot of passions, creativty and enjoys sharing things with others.  On that note, let me retype this article for you, I can not promise there won't be any typos because my iphone and ipad have a mind of their own but I almost always read over my posts before I publish them, or if late at night the following day.  Thank you all for your patience and kindness.

I was reading some articles and online posts about the passed runway shows for Spring 2015.  I was so excited to see so many styles, trends and pieces I either own or love for the upcoming season that I was inpsired to put together this post.  I have a fondness for bohemian style trends and this Spring bohemian style is huge.  From bohemian prints, fringe, tassels, kimonos, layers, suedes, denims and more.  I recently have added a few new pieces that I think are on point for the upcoming season.  Below I am sharing a few of my favorite pieces and will have some posts coming up with these pieces styled into my personal wardrobe.

Bohemian.

This super cute tunic, babydoll dress is popular online right now.  It is available in several prints, colors amd styles.  I have two myself, the above black and cream with tassel tie neck line, I purchased off Ebay, along with a cream and brown tone one from Fashion Junkee.  You can find a link to their online store in my sidebar under favorite shops. These retail for $27-45 each and are super cute worn as a dress with tall boots or gladiator style sandals, as well as with cropped leggings as a top or tunic with strappy sandals.

Crochet or lace detail cardigans and kimonos are hot. This Umgee cardigan is available on eBay.

Floral long bohemian style dresses are super hot for spring and found this one below inexpensive on eBay.

Looks like it would cost a lot but is actually selling for $7.99 plus $7.99 for shipping. Amazing price. You can wear a light weight tank or cami under this with even some cropped leggings. Super cute and an awesome dress for your spring closet.

Crochet detail again for that bohemian feel. This item is from Fashion Junkee at www.fashionjunkee.com

Mixed prints and solids are hot for spring. This long maxi wrap dress has a solid top, chevron skirt with printed bottom. I have found mixing textures and patterns to be a lot of fun, great for layering or for distracting the eye to keep focus off one area of the body for those of us who are self conscious of certain problem areas. This cute dress above was found on eBay and priced at $34.95. I will be posting some photos of myself in some of these pieces as I wear them. If you don't already follow me on Instagram check out my IG page I try to post ootd's and wiw now shots whenever I remember.

Super cute black and white striped tunic with floral detail. From Mindy Mae's Market. Love tunics because you can wear them as a short spring dress or as a shirt with leggings and even skinny jeans. This is a super cute shop and you can find a link in my sidebar or go to www.mindymaesmarket.com.

Lace and fringe

Lace and crochet tops are hot this spring

Fringe and suede both rocked the runways of many high end designers.
I love long necklaces with feathers and different earthy style charms, from ivory style horns, shells pieces and stones.

Long fringed detail dress off the runway. Photo from an online spring fashion review by Vogue. Wanted to show how many of the pieces this spring off the runways are rocking fringe or tassel  details which are all very popular with the bohemian style of dressing.

Simple ivory cardigan with lace detail found on eBay for under $10. I have many kimonos and cardigans to layer over tanks, tees and dresses. One can never have to many great layering pieces.

Gingham and denim tops or dresses/tunics

Gingham is another hot item this season whether a dress, top or skirt.

These are from Mindy Mae's market online and they have light pink and dark pink

Along with my personal favorite gold gingham, also from Mindy Mae's Market
www.mindymaesmarket.com. I am excited to order a couple of these for an upcoming post.

Fashion Junkee denim two tone tunic dress with tassel belt. Denim is huge this spring from vests, jackets, tops, skirts and of course dresses. Another hot style is the button dress shirt. Looks like your man's favorite button down but add a belt or sash then you have a cute stylish dress. Again for those who don't like to wear super short styles you throw on a pair of leggings or even skinny jeans you still have a super cute, trendy look for spring.

Sticking with the dress shirt style tunic here is another hot item from Fashion Junkee. They also have a lot of hot kimonos, cardigans, tops and dresses that are all trendy for spring/summer 2015. Be sure to tell them you saw their site on my blog. If you have IG follow them @fashionjunkeedotcom.

Another fringed floral kimono, I don't think one can have to many cardigans or kimonos for any season as I mentioned above and this floral number is amazing over stylish tee shirts or tanks. Even as a cover up to the beach this summer with cut off shorts.

Suede was huge on the runways for spring, and  fringe as I mentioned above this skirt I found on eBay with fringe bottom detail would be perfect for the season.

Hope you enjoyed some of my late night finds. A lot of these items are items I have on my wishlist from several shops or in my cart or watch list on eBay, I have ordered many of them already or will be ordering them soon. I will be posting some of the pieces in upcoming posts also you can see a lot of them on my Instagram if you follow me. My IG name is @cr8tivemamarazzi. Please be sure to look over some of my older posts which I have posted many of my favorite tee shirts and styles that I have worn, I may have some similar pieces already posted here. Enjoy and happy spring shopping.

This is the same style bohemian tunic from above but in a brown shade with button details. Has a little tribal feel with the red and colorful section on the top front and back portion.

Had a couple people tell me they would like to see more photos of myself wearing the clothes versus photos from the shops or online, I don't own every style I select or I haven't worn them all yet. I try to post my outfit of the day or what I am wearing now on my Instagram, along with adding shots weekly here. I would link my Instagram but have photos of my kids and other things that don't have anything to do with the blog topics. Thank you all for you kind words and support. Hope that this article is better then my late night post. Again I don't have my laptop currently and I am using I am my iPhone and the mobile blogging site but I will do my best to read over my posts before publishing for future typos. Have a great weekend. Xoxo,
