On Vacation

Hey there everyone, just wanted to take a moment to post that I am on a much needed vacation with my family. I am working on some amazing posts for the round up of spring and start of summer. I am sorry for my current absence I have had a lot of health stuff going on along with being very busy with work. I am going to leave you with some recent photos of my latest hair color and some of my recent fashion posts.

Lots of selfies lately mostly because I am loving my new hair color and have been having fun wearing purple tone lipgloss and eye makeup makes it fun to experiment with different looks. 

My boss sent me to the thrift store to purchase some items for a blog post for our work blog on thrifting and DIY styles. Graphic tees that I got for $1-2 and cut the neck, sleeves or back to make them more fashionable and stylish. Will have more on my thrift scores coming soon. 

Got my hair blown out for the trip and loved the way she styled it with the curls on the ends. 

Some more of my favorite Pam & Gela looks, packing for our trip I was admiring some of my eBay and sale scores by my favorite designers. Love this tie dye skirt with v neck tee, then my sweat suit with pink and cream tie dye. Love these sweatshirts with the back zipper. Everything is so soft also.

Some weekly fashion ootd inspiration and posts

Hello and happy midweek to all, had my Botox and injections today so preparing a post, for now uploaded photos from last week where I left off and will be adding some more tomorrow along with details, an update on my Botox and health then some other exciting news. O'Neill maxi tie dye dress sent to me with a crochet back, cattle skull design cardigan I had to have as soon as I saw the cattle skull in the crochet design. Has drapey front and short sleeves. Under neath is the genie bra in white strapless cause this dress has a t back, a slit sides love it, wearing my love rhinestone necklace from kohls, feather rhinestone from eBay hubby found, and Lacey Ryan t, lariat style, crystal drop necklace. 

Tee is from Old Navy last spring clearance, kimono ebay score under $10 and necklace I got the charm in the keys. 

Lace top I found on eBay for $1.99 I have white and mocha in large can be worn as dress and black in a medium more like a top. Love and amazing price. 

This arm chain was worn above as a necklace and can be worn as a waist chain, bracelet, necklace, belt, body chain, arm chain and leg chain love it. Paired with one of my coin belly dancing skirts in blue also have pink and black. 

 

The Loft and Ann Taylor had a sale got this dress and charm necklace, with some skirts, tops and shoes. Love sales, this chambray dress is comfy and light weight the necklace has lucky charms love it. 

Riot society elephant tee from Pacsun, machine denim tone jeans and black converse I have had for five years.

Everfitte on Etsy, Friday I'm in love with my black urban outfitters skirt. 

Got this tee of Jane but didn't like the high crew neck so cut it off. Paired it with a kimono from eBay under $10 find, necklace from Buckle. 

Boyfriend jeans are my favorite and love to roll them up, these have rips you can't see and match my lucky brand Marshall's score ballet flats.

Sunday funday tank. Lots of silver layering necklaces. I love sun, moon and stars, and lots of crystals. 

Found this tee on Etsy from A rosy outlook and the boho circus. Paired it with the perfect black and white with silver accent coins and sequins. This skirt I have had since my oldest daughter was two. Never could part with it got it at Dillard's. 

Girl Strong from Shabby Apple reminds me to stay strong always, with all my health issues and suffering from auto immune disorders it's tough but I am battling for my girls. Kimono is from eBay.

Spring must have Jacket trends: Kimono

Last up for tonight for my top jacket styles for Spring is one of 

my personal favorite wardrobe pieces. I have been obsessed

with the Kimono jacket. I love these jackets whether a floral 

pattern, Aztec, striped, or solid, with or without tassel 

detail, crochet or lace, I love them all. I have over ten in 

my closet. Where I live it doesn't get cold often but 

everywhere you go it goes from 80-90 degree heat

outside to freezing cold indoors with the AC. I always have a 

cardigan or kimono on hand.  I even found these cute scarfs

at Maurice's online that have a tassel bottom and can be 

worn over your shoulders to look like a kimono. They

are only $20 and they had a bogo sale last week, so I

picked up a few. I really like these because you can throw 

one in your purse or wrap one around your neck like a scarf 

then if you get cold unfold it for a kimono look. Maurice's

also has a lot of cute kimono style jackets for great prices. 

You can find these kimono jackets everywhere right now. 

A lot of my favorite stores in my links on the side bar carry 

them, then I found several super cute styles on EBay 

for under $10 from China.

can see they are inexpensive

and you can add several

colors and styles to your closet

for very little money. I highly 

recommend this piece for 

every closet this spring. 

You can wear it with everything 

and it looks great with all the 

bohemian inspired pieces that 

are on trend right now. 

I just got a few catalogs in the 

mail this week from Pacsun, 

Tilly's and Anthro that have

many outifts paired with kimono 

style jackets. These look great 

with cut off shorts and a tank 

top, jeans and a tee, over a 

sundress or maxi dress, with 

cute skirts and tees, basically 

every style. You can't go wrong

for sure.

that are in for the season. I read

a lot of magazines and articles 

online, even style icon and

designer Rachel Zoe has a 

article with the top jacket styles

for Spring and she included 

several of these styles along 

with some other cute styles.

I have highlighted my personal 

favorites but you can also take 

a look into replacing your 

military style jackets with the 

kimono style jacket which is 

different then the Kimono

jackets I have here, it is a solid 

jacket with a open front and 

sash tie waist. Then they are 

recommending replacing 

leather motorcycle style jackets

with suede, I mentioned in my 

prior post. Denim jackets are 

still in along with the denim

vest, and I have seen a lot of 

embroidered pattern jackets. 

It's all about our personal 

style and what each of us are 

drawn to. I also try to purchase 

pieces that will go best with the

style of clothes I already

have. I like to add a few trendy 

pieces each season to my 

wardrobe to dress up pieces I 

already own. Otherwise I would 

break the bank every season 

purchasing all new clothes.
