Vacation manicure and pedicure was done last night. I went with OPI Miami beet. It's a gorgeous beet color:). The name suits it perfect. Wanted to share photos before I start packing up our car. I saw this polish a while ago on another blog and had to have it do added it to my wish list. Love the color. Like always OPI Miami Beet is amazing quality goes on smooth, the color was gorgeous with one coat but did two to get the all over even and deep color. This is a gorgeous shade of red and I think now one of my favorite shades.
Hope everyone has an amazing Easter/spring break:). I know I will be having a great time. If I have wifi and time I will update later in the week.

Layla soft effects 09
Tonight finally getting around to posting some polish pics. I took a couple photos of swatchs for the OPI Euro collection just need to edit and then add polish names. I did five samples one on each nail, so want to put the color name next to each nail first before I post photos. Love the new colors and have to say OPI has become my favorite as of recent.
Tonight I have Layla soft effects 09 which is a gorgeous turquoise blue green. Actually is more green then photos show. Tried lots of different angles and lighting none showed the true beauty of this color. It dries kind of matte but not fully matte. Top coat made it shine instantly:).
I know the soft effect is suppose to look matte but my daughter used this color a few nights ago and we liked it much better with top coat:). I applied a coat of Butter London nail foundation then two coats of the Layla polish. The brush is thick and the polish also is a little thick, one coat could work if in a hurry but I like two.
I made a big mess tonight and tried to clean up any polish I had on cuticles before photos but honestly exhausted from a long week, sorry for any mess I will post more photos tomorrow because I also want to try day light to see if I can get closer to the true color:). I finished with Out The Door quick dry too coat. On my accent finger I used Nicole by OPI Selena Gomez line, Sweet Dreams. Wanted something playful and have been living painting one nail with glitter or different color recently:).
Let me know what you think of the color and polish:). Love to hear feed back. Hope everyone is having a great weekend, I am having a relaxing and peaceful weekend. Beach tomorrow can't wait. Have some more photos of the euro collection and some fashion stuff coming. Also a blog I have been working on for a few days so stay tuned.

Adding some more photos to the collection so you can see the color a little better. Hope everyone had a great weekend:). I had a wonderful relaxing weekend and got a lot done. Getting my hair done this week, can't wait!

Orly neon, OPI DS and China Glaze turquoise swatches
Here are a few photos of the nail polishes I posted earlier I got today;). Have more swatches coming. Playing catch up finally. Hubby is working late so decided to swatch some colors.
I have Orly Beach Cruiser, this is a great bright neon pink. Orly polish goes on great took two coats, very shiny and brush is amazing no complaints:).
I applied a base coat of Butter Lodon on all nails. No top coat since just swatching tonight.
Next up is Orly Melt Your Popsicle, this is a bright neon orange. Reminds me of a orange Popsicle and I can't wait to wear this on my toes this summer. Love a great bright orange on tan toes:). Orange really brings out a Florida tan. This polish I did two coats but 3 would be perfect cause nail line was still slightly visible. On shorter nails you may not notice as much. Make sure when using bright neon colors you always start with a base coat cause these stain bad.
I also got China Glaze Turned up Turquoise. This polish is like some of the many other china glaze polishes I have had, watery and applies weird. Also it dries flat which surprised me cause in the bottle it looks shimmery. I think if I applied a good top coat it would look shiny. I used three coats cause it was streaky it almost seems like it is watery. I also used China Glaze For Audrey. I love the Tiffany blue shade but have found a couple I like better. This one is also watery needs two thick coats or even three. Was bored so did some of the turned up turquoise on it to see the two Coles together. I actually have a cute summer/spring dress I wanted to use these two colors to do nails and toes when I wear it:).
Last up is OPI DS Extravagance. I love this color and it was bothering me cause it looks like another color I have. I was trying to figure out which one then it hit me, looks similar to Zoya Aurora. I will dig out my Zoya and compare shortly I think the opi color may be darker but I am curious. I will update tonight have to go thru my tons of polish and find it:). This color is good with one coat but applied two. Very pretty color. I didn't feature alone cause I did a separate post earlier that you can see;).
Enjoy swatches and love to hear feed back. Going to hunt for the Zoya to see if we have a dupe.

Miami Spirit manicure
Been awhile I'm back:). Slowly getting things settled and back to blogging.
Today I have a budget friendly manicure. I buy nail polish for my daughter at Walmart or the drug store often. She does use my polished but she likes to have her own collection and these polishes are inexpensive. They are also very nice, someone like myself who paints their nails often sometimes for me I like the colors and just have to get them:).
Today I started with Butter London nail foundation. I like how it evens out my nail and also helps not yellow my real nails. I followed that with Wet n Wild Fergie collection, Miami Spirit. I love anything teal or blue and this color is amazing:). I really don't like the brush that is my main issue with this brand. The brush is thick and I have thin nails and fingers makes it hard to stay on the nail. I did good and at first the polish looked kind of dull almost flat but my Out The Door top coat made them shine:).
I used Milani 582 Teal glitter for the accent finger. It matches nice and love Milani brand for my less expensive brand. Milani polish never lets me down. When holo polish was becoming big again I got a bunch by Milani and actually preferred them over the more expensive brands. The Miami Spirit polish has a shimmer to it that looks really nice once you apply the top coat.
Enjoy the photos and please share with me some of your favorite drug store or inexpensive brands you enjoy:).

Butter London Aston
Excuse my hands and nails been taking boxing/kickboxing classes. Broke a few nails and my hands have been a mess getting use to gloves then the wraps. Haven't had any blisters like some people have mentioned at class but hands have been messed up a little long nails are not ideal lol.
I decided to go with something neutral and simple this week so went with Butter London Aston which is a gorgeous shade almost a pink mauve color with a gorgeous shimmer to it. I applied one coat of Sally Hansen base coat which is to strengthen nails also then applied two costs of Butter London Aston followed by one coat of Out The Door top coat. My last color chipped super quick which I have to say was a mess, it was the julep polish I got in the matte suede finish lasted one night then the next day almost every nail had chips, worst part is it was a pain to remove took a lot of scrubbing but peeled so easy was weird. I used their matte top coat also so maybe that is why.
Love this color and love all the Butter London products:). Will post some more photos of the Joby nail art decals next post and if you won the contest I have shipped out the prizes for the ones I have addresses for a couple I don't have the address for my email got messed up and can't retrieve some of the responses please re email me if I haven't emailed you that it was shipped and send your address. My email is dlitefulcreations@ymail.com or dlitefultrends@gmail.com I get the dlitefulcreations emails on my phone so that is best one to send it to:) have a great week. Xoxo

Julep velvet matte November box
Today I got my Julep Maven November box. I'm still on the fence with this service and with this product/brand polish. I ordered the penny box back in August after considering for a few months ordering a box to see how it was. Before the penny offer I though it was way to expensive for a couple nail polishes and only had one julep polish which I wasn't totally in love with. To me with polish is very thick and the brush doesn't do it for me. Usually the first coat is either streaky or so thick it takes forever to dry between coats.
My first box came with three polishes and I was happy with the colors. For a penny I was super happy. I decided to give it another go and then received my first full price box which was okay. The colors were nice but was starting to think for twenty bucks maybe I would cancel. I get Birchbox and for ten bucks it is always a nice surprise but I love nail polish so I wish there were more companies that had polishes. Anyways, I forgot to cancel my membership and then my October box came. I was super happy with my October box, they sent me some nice cool Halloween/fall polishes then some crackle top coat, which I don't care for but with the colors they sent it looked cool for Halloween. I also got candy, some glitter pods and have to say I was changing my mind.
Then I got an email about an exclusive trick or treat mystery box that was limited edition and said you would receive surprise polish colors which I assumed would be new colors, then some other nail products and either a skull bracelet or scarf. I didn't have the money really and didn't need any more stuff lo but ordered cause the October box was so impressive. I was beyond disappointed. I got a box that was empty pretty much, bracelet was broken missing a skull, I got a polish I already had from my first penny box, then one glitter pod and directions for nail decals but no decals:(. I was upset. Even more upset when I saw what my girlfriend had in her box and then googled and saw what other bloggers received. I emailed Julep and they gave me the run around telling me everyone got different things I kept explaining that I knew all the boxes were different but that they were consistent meaning they all had same amount of items and had packaging, wrapping none broke items lol. Finally the lady told me they would send me a replacement box but it never came. Now I just want a refund.
I was again planning to get my refund and cancel then today my nov box arrived. Waiting for the refund or replacement for the mystery box mess then will decide but probably going to cancel. November was matte finished polishes and I love the matte look for sure but now with the matte top coat which I have one by Essie, OPI and Butter London now I can make any of my polishes look that way so I don't feel I need a matte color polish.
I do love nail polish though and honestly wish that the mystery box mess never happened cause I had kind of gotten passed the product not being my favorite. Again I don't know if it is just me but the formula seems very thick. This matte would actually almost drag off if you went over it or overlapped where you already painted before fully dry. After first coat a couple nails looked blotchy. Second coat looked much better and then they included a top matte coat. I also got three packets of polish remover wipes which I threw in my purse. I have noticed lately that Zoya polishes have been chipping rather quick and chipped polish kills me so having remover wipes to carry in my bag sound like an excellent idea:).
I have a color similar to the gray shade by china glaze called stone cold which I love then I have the zoya purple velvet matte. The green Julep is pretty and I love the army green shade with a sparkle to it. Remind me of the textured spray paint they sell kind of. It's late so I didn't have time to clean up my cuticles and polish I got around my nails before my post but I will do that when I wake up tomorrow before I hit the gym. Wanted to post the review and colors before I got busy with the hectic weekend.
I applied one coat of Butter London nail foundation to start. Then couldn't pick which color I liked best so I did both colors. Two coats of Julep Matte Suede finish in Nora and Hailee. I wrote before velvet finish but that is zoya lol this one says matte suede. Then I topped with the Julep matte top coat. Check out the pictures and tomorrow I will post some better photos along with some more samples of the Joby nail art decals. Which I love! If you haven't tried them I suggest you check out my post and order some:). I have some photos from my manicure I had the past few days, got tons of compliments on them.
Have a great weekend and would love to hear about your julep experience or thoughts
