Spell & the Gypsy Flower Child Elle

Loving the newest collection by Spell and the Gypsy. The Elle midi skirt and blouse in Indigo are amazing. Blue is my fave color and love all shades so this one was #1 on my wish list from the first drop. I tried on the blouse when it arrived with my Free People super Flare frayed bottom, dark wash jeans looked so good together and wince the blouse has multiple shades of blue you can style with all shades from light, medium to dark wash. The skirt and blouse look amazing together but I always love when I can style the pieces with other items in my closet. The skirt goes nicely with denim and chambray tops, white, ivory, shades of blue and then all kinds of graphic tees with shades of blue in the graphic print. I also love that the top can be worn with a camisole under it for a little less cleavage, I have a lace trim top cami that looks great under it, and you can wear it open like a jacket, or kimono style look. This set is a win all around. Sizing is pretty true to size, I normally can wear a M-XL in their tops or dresses being larger busted (34DDD US) and I went with a L after viewing their sizing and fit description under the item listing on their page. I was nervous but so happy I didn't go with an XL, sometimes the XL is way to big in the arms, under arms, shoulders and waist. This top fits me amazing. I went with a M skirt but since it has an elastic waist a S would have worked fine. I tend to like to order up a size in the elastic waist cause I like the fuller skirt with more material for that Spell swish style look.

Their mini skirt is a new fave, I got the Etienne from their previous collection and loved it so much I got both colors. I have the Monaco and Sienna color. I always shy away from mini skirts and dresses due to being more modest as I have gotten older but recently I have been loving cut off shorts, not too short but shorter then normal and the Spell mini skirts are perfect for summer time. I love this skirt in Rosewood and the day it arrived since I was out of town for over a week I had my mail held so I came home to packages like it was Christmas. I opened the skirt first and tried on then was opening my package from The American Alchemy and this Amuse graphic tank matched so perfectly.

I styled the skirt and graphic tank with my new Ettika Galileo choker, charm bracelet with reddish maroon tassel and gold charms and my charm anklet. Ettika has been killing it this summer with some of the hottest choker trends and amazing boho chic jewelry. Today I'm doing a quick post to share with you all on their Paradise Fringe Head Chain. Mine arrived today in the mail and this week I will add some photo of myself wearing it along with sharing posts on my Twitter and Instagram. 

The top silver fringe piece is the Paradise fringe head chain, I also got a couple items from their sale section this week, the green beaded Buddha rosary necklace for $9.99 and then the crystal spiked gun metal choker was only $4.99. I was using some of my reward points and wanted to get some extra goodies since I really love Ettika to show my support along with adding some more pieces to my collection. I love Buddhas and love rosary style necklaces. 

I picked out the choker because I had liked it for some time and it goes with my rocker vibe style, going to look great with my graphic tee and tank collection. The Gypsy Witch graphic tank is by Spell designs, also known as Spell and the Gypsies Collective. I am expecting the blue and then ordered a few other cute items that should all arrive later this week.

Summer Jewelry trends

This post is a follow up post to prior posts made back in April, May, June 2016. All photos were taken from back on April 26, 27 and the months of May, June and July. This summer the hottest jewelry trend has been the come back of the choker. I started seeing these shortly after the holidays all over and even purchased a suede long tassel style with crystal in Forever 21 later I discovered it was designed by Ettika Jewelry.  I am not a brand ambassador on their review team. It has been an honor, I was chosen to be on their review team after winning the Still Surprise you turquoise and gold beaded choker from their online contest with Saks. I posted a few prior posts but wanted to put together some collages of all the styles I own for you and where you can get your own.

While I was out of town on my annual summer road trip Good Morning America featured Ettika in their steals and deals segment. Summer accessories

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday, hope everyone had an amazing weekend. It was gorgeous here and the beach just keeps getting nicer. The water was crystal clear and flat still, hoping it stays this way but once storms starting coming in daily it will bring in the seaweed usually around mid June. For now enjoying every moment of the gorgeous waters and weather. 

Accessories are my favorite items, I love to style my daily outfits often around my accessories. From amazing purses, shoes, jewelry and more, I love unique and eclectic styles with a passion for hand made pieces. An inexpensive summer accessory every woman should have is a bandana or scarf. You can find them almost everywhere, I got several colors and patterns at Target and Walmart a few months ago, I had to lighten my hair to color mettalics and I bought them to cover my hair in the sun but soon was using them around my ankle, wrist and neck not just for my hair.

I love to layer up on my neck and wrist, my necklaces start with a turquoise choker by Ettika Jewelry which I am proud to announce I was contacted to become a product review ambassador for them. I was so touched by the thoughtful pieces. She has such an amazing talent and eye for details. 

Two more handmade pieces by Fawning in Love again, she really is a favorite of mine for some time now from Etsy. Infuse found here shop over a year ago valentines day time looking for a Bison ring for my Texas summer trip. I love buffalo and bison or cattle skulls, she had the most amazing pieces and her shop caught my attention which I have been going back often for more pieces to add to my collection. The long blue beaded piece has a shell finished horn shaped accent.

More accessorizing with my pineapple pendant necklace from Old Navy a couple of summers ago, a tusk from Fawning in love in turquoise and also have a royal blue color in same pendant, then my horn moon double layer chain from Forever21, my friend at Fawning in Love has the same pendant on single chain in gold, silver and rose gold.

Blue is my favorite color so own a lot of turquoise, opalite, blue agate, and other blue gems, crystals or stones. These beaded necklaces and bracelets are all mostly older pieces I have collected styled with a beaded oil diffuser bracelet with black lava beads and turquoise by Simply Quinn's and the turquoise bar necklace with silver tassel ends is by Fawning in Love.
