Perfect Fall Sweater and Shoe game

Monday blues, not today. Found out I won some bracelets on IG and then my Fashion Junkee package arrived.

I was so excited they sent me this gorgeous rust color, cowl neck, chunky knit sweater. It is gorgeous and really I see myself wearing this a lot this winter.

Looked gorgeous with my vintage watch necklace from Exalted Heights and bohemian wrap bracelet from Bohemian Vibe boutique. Below I will post links to all items.

Paired it with a pair of my Jbrand jeans  with ripped knees and the black ballet flats. Looked amazing and really trendy for fall or winter. Luckily living in south Florida these shoes can be worn year round.

Above are the ballet flats that I posted about last week, they are amazing. Love them. They fit very good, run true to size and are very comfy. Can't wait to style these with jeans, skirts and more. They retail for $25 link below.  These flats also come in camel, brown color on the site.

Wanted to add this photo below with some leggings I found at Forever21 that match the sweater perfectly.

Also found the gold necklace at Forever21 and a pretty rust color stone, triangle necklace that sits perfectly right on my collar bone and can be seen with the fold over neck of this sweater excellent. I got all the items in the store not online but they should have them on the website also. I will look tomorrow and if they have them I will put up links.

Hope you enjoyed my quick post and links below to find items. Be sure to check out the entire site at FashionJunkee.com they have awesome sweaters, accessories, jeans, dresses and so much more. I always have at least 5-10 items on my wish list between paydays lol. Happy Monday. Xoxo ✌️❤️

( Huge Thank you to Fashion Junkee for the lovely sweater and flats, they are my new faves. Always fast shipping and the best customer service)

Where to find:

Thank you and hope the links help.  Also some amazing sales, the J Brand jeans are marked down over 50% off I am going to order another pair myself, I got them for $94 but $79 is awesome. Love bargains and finding deals on fashion.  XOXO

Fall fashion finds

Wanted to quickly share some hot items I got today shopping. I will add more details and photos this week since it's late. Poor lighting for photos so using photos from H&M website to show the cute pieces I found. After shopping for fun on polyvore went to cash in and use my left over store credit from a return.

Got all items above as pictured. The vest I love, for a few years the fake or faux fur vests have been all the rage but I am not a fan of fur. Last year I got a shearling or sherpa lined jacket and almost got a cream vest because I love how it looks layered, vests are good for South Florida layering also. Any how I found this fringe cream vest and it's so me. I love fringe already have a few fringe sweaters and many fringe skirts, bags and dresses also kimonos and cardigans. This is fabulous. I love a great fitted skirt or pencil skirt and this one above is stunning on.  The suede skirt was a must I am obsessed with front button down skirts they have that 70's vintage feel. I have a couple from Forever21 I have outworn needed some colors. Was happy to find this perfect camel brown to match my ankle boots and a burgundy one. Then the asymmetrical skirt I tried on a shorter version but loved this knee length one it looks amazing on and the price was great.

The denim skirt is a lot like my Forever 21 skirt but doesn't have the V cut waist line which I love. It's a great fit and will make it easier for me since I have been wearing that mid length skirt a lot lately lol. The gray cotton asymmetrical wrap style skirt I actually got in black to go with a black and white striped top I have. Then got the fringe skirt on clearance only because it was a great price, I love fringe and have an event to wear it to along with thinking it would be fun on my cruise for an evening outfit. The navy skirt I actually got in a burgundy rust tone. It's not really red but not orange almost a brick rust tone. Wanted some colored button down the front skirts to add to my collection.

Then this was waiting on my porch when I got home, my boss was so kind to order me this reversible Madewell Tote. It's a gorgeous brown leather on outside and black with white Aztec style print inside that you can reverse. Brilliant isn't it? Love it thank you boss lady. Xoxo

Also got a dress, a long cardigan, two blanket scarves one solid and one plaid, two belts, some ankle boots, jewelry and another pair of flare jeans. Excited to share. Off to bed busy day tomorrow and getting really excited for my cruise. Will post more photos of my items as I wear them. Be sure to check out H&M you're going to love the cute fall items for sure. Xoxo ✌️❤️

I love to pick up a few new hot trends for each season to freshen up my looks and keep my style fashion forward without breaking the bank. Below are a few styles I really love and there are many more where those came from so be sure to head over to take a peak for yourself.

Love these black fringe ankle booties with chunky heel. These will be fabulous with leggings, skinny jeans and flares. I also love them with a tunic or dress layered with a baggy sweater or button down top.

These are a little dressier ankle bootie a with chain detail and a thinner heel. Love these to dress up the perfect pair of flare jeans or cropped rolled up skinnies. Also will look hot with pencil skirts and dresses. For the prices all their boots are amazing deals and super cute.

These ankle boots are perfection with brown strap and buckle detail. These will work with anything basically and love brown for fall. The price will shock you, not even going to tell you go take a look for yourself. All these boots are priced so good you can't beat it and with my additional discount you can afford to get some other great items to update your fall wardrobe.

These are my favorite, I love tall boots and don't think you can ever have enough. I have a similar pair that are flat bottom and been looking for a high heel version. I love the quilted design and buckle detail. These were in my cart as soon as I saw them didn't even have to think twice and the price is just perfect. These are going to be worn with leggings, skinny jeans, dresses and skirts all fall through winter. Love them.

Every hot pair of boots need a pair of tall socks or leg warmers. These add that extra little detail to your outfit and for those who live in the cooler areas they give you that extra warmth also. They have a crochet lace trim top and button down detail. Love the color choices all fabulous for fall and winter.

I adore plaid for fall and winter, this plaid poncho style kimono or cardigan is perfection and those colors are perfect for mixing and matching with the neutral fall tones.

Color blocking and stripes are really in trend this season so this top caught my eye as soon as I refreshed my page, it is a great color combo and I love the wrap front detail. I have seen a lot of this style in magazines and stores lately and love the look.

Last up a great accessory for fall and winter are scarves. This one I love with the fringe detail and buttons. They have many styles, colors and options for scarves along with sweaters, ponchos and kimono style cardigans. Again I recommend going to take a look for yourself. I was really pleased with the new selections and these are just a few items I selected to highlight this evening.

Flare Jeans are back just in time for Fall

Flare Jeans are making a come back just in time for fall...

For years now skinny jeans have been the hottest denim trend.  Recently the boyfriend cut jeans have really gotten popular, but for may years it has been all about skinny jeans.  High waist, mid waist, low cut, super skinny, cropped or distressed, skinny jeans have been all the rage in denim.  At first I was not a fan of the skinny jeans, I always loved a good pair of boot cut jeans but once I found my first pair of good fitting skinny jeans I was in love.  They were perfect to wear with taller boots, no more having to battle to tuck in that extra denim.  They looked great with sandals, flip flops or heels, basically any and all shoes were fab with these jeans.

Photo from SilverJeans.com

I personally have always had a love for vintage fashion.  I love the mid length full skirts of the 50's, prairie skirts of the 60's and of course bell bottoms from the 70's.  Basically every decade before the 80's had some major fashion staples that I love.  I was dreading when I started to see the 80's making a come back but I did enjoy some of the brighter colors, not so much neon but the brighter corals, yellows and greens were fun.  I am really excited to see flare cut jeans coming back.  They are a close resemblance to the bell bottoms just not as dramatic.  I love flare cut jeans with a basic tee or button down solid tee, leaving it tucked in slightly in the front or on one side.  Mid and High waisted flares look rocker chic with cropped graphic tees and tanks.  Wedges, boots and heels are great with the flare leg jeans, the more height the better with the jeans.

I went ahead and put together a quick outfit idea on Polyvore playing around.  I went with a basic white tee shirt, Silver Jeans Suki Mid Flare jeans, a plaid blanket scarf and some ankle boots.  I added a tan hat, layered necklaces, matching belt and lots of arm candy.  Below are some links to some of the items from Polyvore, as well as some of my bargain finds and favorites.  I will be adding some more photos of styles I like with the flare cut jeans in weeks to come along with my own styled outfit choices using the Silver Suki Flare jeans.  I love to add a fitted blazer over a tee shirt for a more professional look, and of course a kimono or crochet trimmed long vest for a boho chic look.  The styling options are endless, and I am happy to see so many new denim trends for fall.

My previous post I shared the moto jeans that I love with some tall riding or cowboy style boots, graphic tee or band tee and leather jackets for that rocker, biker look.  Can't wait to start getting some of my new items I ordered for my closet, looking forward to playing around and styling some cute stuff to share with everyone.  Enjoy this post and would love to hear what you think of flare jeans making a come back for fall.  I started seeing them back around spring but then summer was here and everyone was in shorts or capris, but now I am seeing flares everywhere.  I personally think it is refreshing to see the change, I love skinny jeans but I am ready for a new look and vibe with denim.  I am always game for distressed jeans, the more distressed the better and I feel the same way about vintage looks.

Tex-Mex, Cold Beer & Live Music...

TEX-MEX COLD BEER & LIVE MUSIC...
Flannel, Tee, Jeans & Boots

Who doesn't love a weekend music festival or concert. I know I love all types of live music, mix in some Tex-Mex, cold beer and on a Saturday a little college football, that is a perfect day for me. This weekend had a little country concert festival with some amazing chili and food trucks with so many choices of food. Dressing for this event was a breeze with my awesome graphic tee by A Rosy Outlook. One of my favorite Etsy shop finds and loving their sister store Boho Circus. Did a recent blog feature on these two stores last month. These family owned gems have some of the coolest graphic tees from bohemian, gypsy style to Texas themed apparel. They also sell home decor, goods and accessories.

My favorite part of fall fashion is layering and boots.  I love to layer pieces and accessories, then who doesn't love the chance to break out their boots.  Where I live it is usually in the 90's year round but we do get the occasional temperature drop and as soon as we do I break out the layers, scarves and boots.

I picked up this flannel at Target the other day.  It is made by Merona and has a checkered almost buffalo plaid print on the inside and when you fold over the sleeves.  Link to purchase is below.

Shopping:

My jeans are from American Eagle, I got them at their outlet store a while back and they are from their blue label line.  I know they are skinny jeans and found a pair similar.

The boots were from Target last year, I got them on clearance at the end of the season for $12-15.  You can find similar pairs at Target this year.

My flannel is from Target by Merona.

My tee shirt is by A Rosy Outlook.  You can get it in a tee or tank.

Here's to music festival and carnival season approaching.  Enjoying live music, cold beers, football and some good ole Tex-Mex.  Have a fabulous week everyone.

Fall nail trends.

Fall is approaching and I think I have seen a lot of ideas for some great trends in beauty and fashion for fall. I live in south Florida so we don't get to bust out the cute sweaters, jackets and boots yet. More nov-dec if I cool front rolls through.

Down here my fall style is ankle length skirts, maxi dresses, sandals versus flip flops and warmer shades. I love navy, browns, dark purple, rose gold and orange/rust colors right now too for the feel off fall. Makes me think of gorgeous leaves changing and that crisp smell of autumn air.

Nails, I have already started getting darker shades, matte top coat, some holographic shades and ordered a velvet polish kit. Sephora has a great set available with everything you need are, I have heard that you can buy flocking powder and just apply that to that polish.  You can find this for cheap on ebay and at the craft store.

I have not seen this look on anyone yet just online and in the store but can't wait to try it out.  I look forward to trying this and searching it for everyone:). If you have used it please let me know what you thought.
