Graphics & Punk Masters

Punk masters on Etsy, check them out on Instagram @PunkMasters will be adding a link to their website on this post shortly.

Punk masters on IG and Etsy designed these amazing tees. I ordered a black and she sent me the white also, love the distressed hem on the tees and they are so soft. Planning to order a few more next payday wanted to make sure my size was good. This tee is awesome love the feather with skull design and punk rock or 80's retro music is a fave of mine.

L💛VE WILL SET US FREE tank by Spiritual Gangster paired with a vintage bohemian skirt that can also be worn as a dress. Has a very Renaissance feel to it. The lace kimono was a clearance score from Pacsun last year.

My new hair color is finally unveiled after months of lightening from dark burgundy red and bright red with blonde to now a pastel silver with purple and a touch of pink which is what was left of the red. My graphic lighter tee is a favorite of mine by Pam & Gela.

My necklace is by Fawninginlove and is her Opalite triangle necklace. Love it. She makes the best handmade jewelry I have found on Etsy, always the highest quality and have never had any of the items break on me.

Wildfox Couture feather sweatshirt I scored for an amazing deal off eBay not long ago just realized today it matches my hair perfectly with silver, pink and purple glittery feathers. The jeans are my new Capri length Silver jeans, which j can't get enough of all their distressed jeans. Was going to get some shorts but honestly need to tan my legs and drop a few pounds from winter before I rock some shorter length shorts so for now going to keep with my capris. They have some amazing new styles in stock.

Wildfox Couture

Volcom Good Vibes Only, tie dye tank from Pacsun last spring with some grey Silver jeans in distressed finish. One of my all time favorite pair of jeans and if you roll them up they are capris. The for is amazing and the color is excellent.

Wildfox sweatshirt, I shoulda been a f*#$!&g sailor. Love this, had to share one of my first ever WildFox Couture tops. Love how comfy they are and love all the designs.

I think that should have me caught up, going to take a look back at my last post and if there are any tops or outfits I forgot to share I will add them later. Hope everyone has an amazing weekend. Want to take a quick moment to say thank you to all my new followers on social media and here on my blog. My FB has been taken down temporarily as I update some stuff for my job and fashion stuff, but I am so honored to have over 12K followers and to know they aren't all ghost followers with some of my photos reaching over 3-6K likes. It makes my heart warm and smile. I send love to all of you and am thankful for everyone's support.

Peace, love and rock n roll

Xoxo

  1. Was checking out your Instagram then blog. How do you get so many likes and followers? I have seen accounts with 100K followers not get 6000 likes. You must have a secret!

    1. First off I have been working hard to build my social media following, I have been researching tags to use and I also spend my down time liking others photos, leaving comments and interacting on social media. I for years had my old IG account and could not figure out how people got some many likes and followers then when I started working for the company I work for now as a Stylist/Curator they are big into using social media as a platform for business, networking and advertising. I took a class on social media strategy and marketing they taught us that using the proper tags, networking with others, liking and leaving comments was the way to more followers. I have seen there are many apps out there where people can buy followers and even likes I think. I know for sure followers because I have a friend who told me that is what a lot of people do, I personally can't afford it and already feel you get a lot of ghost followers already using social media so for me spending hundreds of dollars on gaining followers was not something I wanted to do, I am tight with my money because I have kids and I like to save my extra cash for traveling and for purchasing clothes or items. I am a budget or bargain shopper and a little on the frugal side so I am not one for spending full price on anything, I felt buying followers was a little crazy. I started using my current IG account over the summer, I took this training course on social media in October and changed my hashtags, started liking many photos and leaving comments, changed how I followed people also, I use to follow so many people and none would ever follow me back, so I deleted a lot of the people I had been following and started to try to use what I had learned at work. Before long I watched my followers rise and my likes. On my old page I had only 1200 followers but I had a few photos I would post that would get over 1k likes. I always tried to figure out why, then realized it was the tags, then also if a photo gets a lot of likes it will appear on the IG popular page and then get even more exposure. I don't really have a secret, I honestly just take time out of my schedule or on days when I am doing chores around my house or laundry, like yesterday my husband worked in the morning and my oldest daughter went to a detail for her intern position so between loads of laundry and cleaning I would go through similar tags I use and like photos, lots of likes and leave comments on my favorites.

    2. I hope this helps you understand more, if you google social media tips for gaining more followers and getting more likes you will find loads of tips like I learned in my class at work about using the proper hashtags, and that it is crucial to make sure you like and comment, follow back and work your social media. I have not had as much time to start on my Twitter yet, but have slowly started learning more about that app and how to also get more exposure. I use to have my own business and started a FB page in six months I went from 10 followers or likes on that page to over 500 that was one of the hardest things ever but it took a lot of dedication. Running contests also helps, I have had several giveaways through my social media and blog in the passed that required you to follow and like my page. I know my blog my seem minuscule to some but I get thousands of views some days and a lot of traffic, I think I post quality photos and use all the tags for fashion or whatever it may be I am posting. As I am sure you have seen since it seems you have taken the time to examine my likes and followers I don't have every photo with 6k likes only a few but my photos do have a steady amount of likes and if I don't use hashtags you will see the photos don't get many at all only from who ever may be a follower and see the post. For me if someone has 100K followers and not many likes then the odds are they have purchased followers and most aren't real accounts or ghost accounts they call them, if you have a large amount of followers then everytime you post a photo no matter what tags you use then the ones following you should see your photos in their feed and if they like picture then like it on IG. I think the person you need to be asking is the person with 100k followers why they don't have many likes. Just my opinion. I hope I was able to help answer your question better. It takes a lot of hard work, dedication, time and networking to build up a good solid following and to get likes on your pictures. Hope you have a great weekend. Peace & Love Sorry couldn't fit all in one post

    3. Quickly wanted to add I don't know if you are aware of the bullying, harassment and just awful things I have had to deal with through social media and the comments left on my blog to discredit me. I am sorry I can't help but wonder why someone would leave such a comment but I would hope maybe you just honestly wanted to know but with all the horrible things that this person has done, the lies that have been spread, the accusations that are over the top and absurd I just don't like drama especially on my blog and social media. I work in the fashion business, my blog and social media is used to help promote myself as a fashion stylist and curator to further build my reputation as a stylist, I recently was promoted within my company working as a creative director, curating and styling still but in a different platform. I have worked very hard on my social media and have not had as much time as I would like to work on my blog due to being busy with my job and my family then also my health. Being harassed and bullied is a nightmare to have a stranger lie about you, try to discredit your hard work and ideas then telling people you copy them but then to see that person using and doing the same things as me copying me over and over kills me. I have had to deal with this awful stress and drama for almost two years. I have tried to end it, ignore it and even have my lawyer working on a plan to try to contact the person via legal platform to just stop. I am anti hate and bullying, judging others. Drama and bad vibes are not my thing so if your intentions of leaving this comment are bad then I hope you understand that I work hard very hard I don't just click a button a pay money to get me some followers I spend hours of free or down time waiting in the car line to pick up my kids, at practices for their sports, my lunch break, chore days and so on networking on social media. Not just Instagram I use FB, Twitter, Pinterest, snapchat and IG. Hope again you have a wonderful weekend and just wanted to make you or anyone else aware of the heartache and stress I have had to deal with being harassed, lied about and child like drama always going around thanks to a stranger who doesn't even know me. Why start drama and try to hurt people as women we should all support one another and build each other up, there is room for all of us to do well and find success we don't need to compete. I am just to old for that, my children don't even act that immature. Take care

    4. I only have one photo of with that many likes and it is actually a Boomerang clip I made for a contest I entered, I only realized how many likes I had gotten the last couple of weeks my daughter actually told me her friends had all liked my photo and some even shared it, I also shared on Twitter and Pinterest. I was so honored and thankful for all the likes when my daughter told me it had reached that many likes I was so amazed and shocked myself, I am going to assume people just liked the photo. The day I posted it it had reached over 1-2K but I had no idea it had gotten to 3-4K again till my own daughter came home and told me "Go mom your photo is huge on Instageam" I looked and was so touched and happy. I am just a normal everyday person, a mom who works her butt off to have money to provide for my kids, someone who is passionate about everything I do and loves to share my passions with others. I couldn't be more proud of my follower count growing steadily and my likes because I have worked hard using the skills I was taught by an amazing marketing and social media strategist. They actually have many of these classes and my job has an entire office of people that work specifically in social media marketing I was considering doing it after the class but I like to work with clothes and other stylists more. Off to take my kids shopping now took enough of my time responding and hope this was helpful, any other questions or tips I will do my best to help. Enjoy your Sunday funday.

I was just wondering because I had read on a page that Instagram changed its algorythim that determines how many likes a person gets on photos based on followers. You can google more about it. Likes are determined by alot of factors. Even a percentage of how many followers you have because not all of your followers even see your photos. I was surprised to learn that it changed more. You probably already know if you work with a strategist. That's why I was asking because I thought you found a loop hole in the new algorythim. Soory to here you have had trouble with people on social media. You have to have thick skin to be on the internet these days. Have a blessed Sunday.

    1. I have also read about the changes and about how not all of the followers see your photos, it seems IG is becoming a lot like FB. When I first started my business years ago my page was seen by everyone then I started learning only a portion of my followers saw my posts and started getting all these emails about advertising. It is a shame really but no I didn't find any loop holes. As I mentioned above I didn't even realize more likes had been adding up on the photo over the time till my daughter brought it to my attention and I took a look, I was amazed that is the most likes I have ever had. I have seen many people with over 25K followers that have thousands of likes on all their photos so I am not sure really how they are deciding or working that all now. The class and training they provided at my job was back in October and at the time they didn't ever mention anything about any of that but I have seen talk of it. I am always very cautious how many photos I like or people I follow at one time have been locked out before for liking to many or leaving to many similar comments have to make sure I am not lazy and always change up my comments. I use to work as a moderator when I had my prior page and was very into photography on several pages on IG that would feature photos and I know we had to be cautious then how many likes and comments we left when working the feed for the page. Sorry to have possibly come off a little defensive at the end but I never know if the comments being left are digs or jabs by the person who is always harassing me or if they are truly real people. I hope some of my information on how I have learned to work social media are helpful and again thank you for taking the time to comment as well as check out my blog and social media. I appreciate all views and always love the receive comments from readers. Have a great Sunday and take care. ✌🏼️❤️

    2. And yes you are so right you have to have very thick skin it is sad really that grown women act the way they do luckily there are only a few bad seeds not everyone is bad. I have met some amazing people and made some good friends.

  3. First I want to say I love your hair, it looks great on you. Always love your colors and this one is my favorite yet. I have been following you for some time both here and on your blog, I know how hard you work to post even when you are suffering with your illness and health or other things. I have seen the hard times you have been through along with the bullying first hand, I really think you are doing great not allowing anyone to bring you down or force you to leave social media because they feel threatened or want to target you. I don't know why people have to be so mean but I know I'm happy you have not left Instagram or removed your blog. I enjoy your posts and all the amazing tips for finding amazing fashion for less. I think it's awesome you have a photo with 6 thousand likes and have worked hard to gain more followers. I have 11.1K and it took me almost a year of non stop following and liking other's photos. It takes a lot of work but it's possible. I know I have a few photos that have over 5,000 likes and I was excited but it took some time to accumulate. I wish you the best of luck on the contest and I think you should win you have some amazing entries, plus you been tagging way before this contest even started. Don't let other people get to you I think people just try to get under your skin. Like this person above said you have to have thick skin but I think just by remaining loyal to your blog and social media you have proved that. Girl Power my friend

  4. When this comment above was left I had not seen any effects of the new algorithm that IG was starting to use but this week they started the changes and have noticed less likes but working on keeping up with tagging then of course liking other photos and commenting. Before hand I had not heard about that starting yet I knew it would be eventually but at the time it had not had any changes for me. Now yes I have seen some effects but not anything huge...
