Casual what I wore

Today was a cloudy, on again off again rainy but sunny day. Haven't been feeling well so took me awhile to find something comfy but that I wouldn't be cold or hot in as the weather changed all day. Decided to go with a tank top I found at Marshall's and some camo leggings also from same spot. The jacket I have had for a long time, actually freaked cause when I was thinking about it remember my oldest daughter was four and she is almost fifteen. Yes I have had it that long but love how it fits and it is broken in so the denim is soft. Found it at Dillard's. The sandals are cute ankle strap, with studs and rhinestones, found those at Kohl's a couple years ago and they are made by Candie's. The bracelets I have gotten off eBay or etsy shops, one being a hamsa hand, the other sideways cross, then I have a rhinestone bar, and last of all my saints protection bracelet. The tank top and bracelets are all kind of the mood I am in. Just breathe with a Buddha, I love Buddhas.  Have needed some peace and inner strength with health issues lately.

Hope everyone has an amazing week and I will have more posts coming but please excuse if I miss some this week have several mris and tests scheduled this week. As I struggle with my health I do my best to remain postive and stay up to date on whatever I can.

Have a Dliteful week:).

Some photos of mine

A couple photos of mine from the beach here in Florida with some custom quotes. I sell these online and all my photos are available for print or custom quotes/inspirational quotes. I have had a couple ordered on canvas, glossy or matte photo paper and a metal print that are amazing. Also have wood prints and more custom graphics available upon request. Never post these on my blog but wanted to share while my site is under construction and also show some of my more recent outdoor photography. These photos have no filter or editing only cropped and text added. Enjoy

Blog under construction

Working on updating the blog site. For now have a fall theme but going to start making some changes and updates. Started clearing out the clutter from when we fixed our garage door and started organizing garage, so today managed to get online from my desktop and start making a few changes to update the page. Thank you for your patience and will have lots of cool changes coming soon. Have a great weekend and go FSU

Freebird by Steven, cute boots and booties for fall. Also have comparable styles with more to come

My new love for boots are the Freebird by Steven line. Amazing boots with a western, worn, rocker kind of look. I first feel in love with the Drover but at almost $300 was waiting for clearance or to find a pair on EBay. Finally found a pair of cognac at Marshall's, reddish brown color for way less. Then found a black pair but also found a cute close knock off look at Just Fab shoe store online. Actually found a bunch of cute pairs there and Target, Marshall's and Walmart even has some super cute pairs. Living in Florida we don't have boot weather but still love to wear them with my fall and winter fashion, or when we get our one cool front here and there. Below are some photos of my favorites by Freebird and then some comparable ones. Will list where you can purchase them.

Also found a new line of cute tees and tanks today from the ladies who start Juicy Couture. Will have a post coming up with photos and where to purchase.

Enjoy your end of the week and upcoming weekend. Also will have a Marshall's, post of fab finds for fashion and the home stay tuned. Good night

Mod camera straps

I love photography and back in December won a new camera, I looked around for a few months for some new camera straps that wouldn't break the bank and found this amazing company, MOD straps. All the strap are made in the USA and they have a large selection of not just straps but accessories also.

At the time I ordered a houndstooth print for my old Nikon D3100 which my daughter has been using when I don't use it for something, and grabbed myself a cute colorful chevron pattern for my new Nikon D610. While on vacation I decided to pass by target because they carry mod products now and got myself a black and white chevron camera pouch so I didn't need to carry a heavy camera bad while we were walking a lot sight seeing.

I saw on Instagram rhat they were having a contest over the summer called mod straps on the move, just tag your mod gear photos and they would feature customers with their mod gear, then at the end of summer they would pick a winner for a $100 and two $25 gift certificates. I ended up winning the $100 prize and got myself a matching set in my favorite color, blue! I got a strap, a Velcro strap pouch for storing my id, cards and cash, a cap saver with a cute rhinestone and a matching pouch for my camera. Love everything not to mention the amazing fast shipping and customer service.

If you are in the market for a new camera strap I recommend this brand hugky. Made in the USA is a plus and amazing prices with huge selection, fast shopping and now they are not only available in Target but walmart too. Can't beat that. Remember to always support the small local and American made businesses. Below are some photos of my mod gear.

The pouch is perfect for covering your camera and protecting it. I carry it with the strap like a purse strap, the Velcro pocket for my cards and money then the pouch as a bag, even throw a extra battery in there. Hope to get some bags for my lenses soon.

Love all my MOD gear so much and made in the USA
At the beach to keep the sand off my camera
Strap is heavy duty for my very heavy Nikon D610, trust it with my little one using the camera

Living room changes.

From house of brown and earth tones to house of blue and colors! Super excited this summer we were able to get rid of our dark brown, large rocking sofa, love seat and chair, with large tables and get this lovely large sectional. We have always had leather since we first moved in together but finally decided to try fabric on our sofa. We wanted something more comfortable, less slippery and lighter in color. We still have young kids and pets so wanted something durable. I couldn't wait to get rid of the leather, I love pillows and throws but with leather they are always sliding off. I wanted something we could lall have room to cuddle up together as a family for watching movies and family game nights. We looked for a couple months but everything came together finally. We ended up getting a large custom sectional, with a chaise, then a large storage ottoman, a small round banana leaf style table for the side and then a really large tv stand, my hubby wants to get an even larger tv then we already have so he wanted something that would be large enough to for under a larger tv so we wouldn't out grow it. I also found an amazing shag rug at Homegoods that matches perfect, repurposed my old curtains from the dining room and got a couple new accent pieces.

Like everything in my home it is a work in progress. I want colorful different shades of blue pillows, we need to hang family portraits along with a canvas beach print of one of my own photos I took, hang some Moroccan lanterns I have had and need to finish recovering these Moroccan style poufs j got at good will which originally were for outside on the patio but will work amazing in the living room. I found these large floor pillows and was inspired by the Moroccan look. I have my bak patio sort of decorated in that theme now which you can see in old posts but now trying to do that in the living room. Again a work in progress but wanted to share a few photos. If you follow me on ig than you have seen the transformation develop and know my plans. Been hard because we traveled a lot this summer and my husband works a lot. Right now trying to get my Halloween decor out because I was injured a few weeks ago then we all got a care of this bad cold going around. Enjoy the couple photos I have and will have more soon:). Blessed day to all.

Dining room update photos

Finally found a rug for my dining room. Been looking for awhile and waiting. Laid off ended up getting a rug from ZGallerie I loved and at 70% off. Super excited. Still a work in progress but again the holidays will being pausing any work since it is time to decorate for fall and then Christmas. Wanted to share some recent photos with the new rug. Still have plans to paint the wall sconce glass a silver or blue mercury glass look, then hang the fishnet I bought around mirror with some starfish and shells. It is close to done finally. Love our Florida keys inspired dining room we started after our trip last summer. Was fun to return to the same house again this summer for 5 days and see what inspired me so much to add more color to our home.

We actually had a lot of home projects between traveling this summer. We got new living room furniture, did some chnages to kitchen, dining room, bedrooms and other areas. Also got a new garage door and updated out security system which was already in place with cameras just added some new cameras and a couple extras for better views and clarity in the evening.

Enjoy the updated photos and would love to hear what you think. You can look back in my blog to see the before and during shots also.

Master bedroom update photos

Awhile back, around this time last year was posting photos of my master bedroom update. My hubby had purchased our dream bed from ZGalleries and I had started to get together some of my garage sale and craigslist find furniture pieces. I refinished. At the time I couldn't find bedding and was using a set I found at Target. Since we have found bedding from potterybarn and zgallerie. I have hung some mirrored pieces on the walls but continue to work on this room. My home is always a work in progress. I am very budget conscious on everything I buy and usually wait for items to go on sale or to find something close to the designer style I like in Homegoods or Marshall's even online. Going to try to update the blog with photos of the bedroom along with photos of my dining room makeover, living room makeover and some other small decor projects. Enjoy the photos

These photos are actually still a little old, have made some changes to the art, added photos to the frame above bed and a few other small detail changes. Will try to take some more recent photos soon but wanted to update from my last post since there have been a lot of chnages. Enjoy.
