Ft. Worth fun fashion, Texas

Hey y'all, hope everyone is having a fab week. I know we are having a blast. Vacation has been amazing and Texas is awesome. I love the vintage and antique stores. Amazing bohemian, country, southwest, gypsy and hippie inspired apparel, home decor and more. It's just awesome plus all the wild life. We have a pack of deer that come to the yard every night at dusk then the neighbor breeds horses so we get to visit with them every morning when we wake and afternoon or evening when we return. They have babies along with the deer, which are cute to watch play. My girls and of course my hubby and I are really happy with our choice of rental properties. 

Today we are off to the safari, Texas style and then to the Ft. Worth nature preserve to see some Bison. Yesterday we hit the Ft. Worth stockyards and did some shopping, saw cattle and enjoyed some real Texas BBQ. Amazing. 

Real quick while I was in the car wanted to do a post to share some of my favorite vacation shots along with some cute vacation fashion... 

Today wearing my bargain find, "Go climb a Cactus" graphic tank from Wet Seal. Paid $6 for this fab find.

Last night after a long shower to clean up from a hot day, temps reached 103 felt like 120 lol, I ended up in my faithful VS pink sweats. These are the embroidered logo boyfriend sweats in blue. The graphic tank I got in New Orleans at the original Peaches records. Love my graphic tanks and tees, also got a distressed Rolling Stones lyric tank there, then I have gotten several other aweome tees and tanks which you will see soon. 

Yesterday went with a graphic tee I bought on Etsy, the shop is called Wooden Arrow shop, you can find the sweet Christie's shop Instagram page, which has a link to her Etsy shop in her bio @wooden.arrow.shop. She makes some amazing jewelry, embroidered hand stitched decorative hoops and awesome vintage finds. Be sure to check out her shop and follow her on IG. I started stocking up on cute Texas and desert style graphic tops back after Christmas. Always have loved the deer and cattle skull or antler style tees and tops but really started getting in to buffalo while planning our trip to Texas. Found this perfect tee while purchasing some decorative pieces for my bedroom. Couldn't pass it up. Was my third buffalo tee, got my first at Urban Outfitters and then one over spring break in NC. 

Paired this tee with some Silver Jeans, Suki model shorts. You can find these at www.silverjeans.com and will add link for exact shorts soon. I got mine from Buckle along with the necklace because I had a gift card. This was the Cattle walk where they walk the cattle down through the Main Street. Very cool, I love Longhorns and they had a ton. Will have better shots from my DSLR when I get home, haven't had the time I had thought in evenings to upload photos and post on the blog. Sorry. Really enjoying the family time. 

Found the green beaded bracelet in Ft. Worth yesterday. Love it and was $14.99

Hand made by a local designer. Love to support small businesses and creative/inspiring peeps. 

     

We get to wake to these faces and visit with them every afternoon or evening when we get back from adventuring. They have several babies and are so friendly. My girls love horses and the deer are also awesome. We love wildlife since where we live we don't have much really.

Road trip fashion, riding in style but comfort.

Vacation has been amazing and off to a great start. We had a blast in Tallahassee and New Orleans. Now off to Houston today then Ft. Worth Monday to the rental property for the week. Wanted to quickly post some of my outfits. A few I picked for the comfort of riding long hours in the car and others for exploring New Orleans, which was very hot and then dinner for Hubby's birthday. 

Next week will do my best to post my blog post I did about South Florida swim suit designers and hot swim wear for this summer since it is swim week in South Florida, also will have some other posts about some shops and brands I am rep'ing for now. Excited to be a Silver Jeans ambassador along with collabing with BohemianVibeBoutique. I have posted here and on IG links for both. Going to have an entire post dedicated to both with products, reviews and links.

Modeling my new FSU gear I grabbed and stocked up on in Tallahassee which I wore around the hotel Friday night. Here have on a maroone sports bra with logo, white racer back thin tank, and the yoga pants I got at the Tallahassee Walmart. Managed to get several tanks, sports bras, tees, PJ bottoms, yoga pants, flip flops, head band and socks. Exciting for this huge college football fanatic, go Noles. 

Even though I live in Florida they don't sell a lot of FSU in south Florida thanks to UM. Happy to have gotten to visit, been years since we have driven to a game there and I love all my new goodies just in  time for football season. Excitedly football season is only weeks away. Yay!

Must have if in New Orleans, LA. These amazing fried dough and powdered sugar treats are amazing. Way better than funnel cake. Make sure you go to Cafe Du Monde because there are a few knock off spots that just are not the same

Only had one of my suitcases in New Orleans and didn't have my dresses then the one dress I had out to wear forgot the bra I wear with it, because it's very see through light material, was in my other bag also. Had to scramble but luckily found this Top and maxi from Forever21. Carrying my JCrew, madewell black bag 

Last of all on our way to Texas, hit traffic seams to be some construction and lane closures. Luckily I wore this comfy // Epic Weekend tank with feather graphic //

Paired with a comfy elastic waist, with pockets, maxi skirt in coral. My favorite jewlery pieces on my neck, wearing my rhinestone encrusted feather charm from eBay and my raw citrine stone mounted with a silver hook and chain. The citrine necklace is by one of my favorite jewelry designers and Etsy shops, @AdamRabittjewelry on IG and I have in my favorite shops links on my side bar for full desk top version of my blog. 

My little one got me this cute VooDoo doll in New Orleans. I got her the mom protector one and she got me the guardian angel one. Hopefully this will help protect me from negative vibes. I am more of a spiritual person than religious, I was raised Christian but don't go to church but have strong spiritual beliefs, I am ALL about good karma, energy, positivity and vibes. Just how I have always been. Much like a hippie or even like the island people. Due to my health and losing my dad to leukemia I know how short and precious life is. After you loose one of your parents, you really have this new outlook on how short life can be we are not guaranteed how long we have and our time could be over at any moment, I make sure I am content with my decisions and how I have treated others. Which I am.

Triangl Summer must have bikini

Must have, hottest swim suits for this summer.

Triangl bikinis. I have done a couple posts including

my Las Vegas poolside outfit included the

Triangl Brigette. For me these are for sure the

Hottest trending suits for the summer. With their

birght colors and eye catching neoprene fabric

they are in demand. Living in South Florida I 

spend a lot of time at the beach and these 

suits are starting to show up all over down here. 

I ordered my first, the one in the center of the 

Polyvore grid // Brigette // Moondance $99.

It's stunning with the denim look neoprene and 

crochet detail on sides. By far my favorite of 

all the styles I own.  I also have the // Poppy

I wear a 34/36 DD in Victoria Secret bras I wear

a XL or S++. Will show photos of the only difference 

Which is a inch on the strap around back. I prefer the 

XL. My daughter likes the S++ but both fit. 

I recommend the XL bottom for anyone over 

a size 6. These are small and don't have a lot 

of stretch.

colors not a fan of white on a bikini but will see
