October Breast Cancer Awareness month, wear pink to show support

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Show your support by ordering some of the below items with proceeds being donated to Susan G. Komen, and the other items being donated in the memory of Emily Vasquez to Banner MD Anderson.

#Girlstrong, as ladies we need to always stick together through thick and thin, whether we are friends or strangers, throw away any animosity, hatred, gossip, lies, conflict or drama to support one another and empower each other always. There is room for everyone to do good, succeed and grow.  As the post I see often on social media says, Throw Kindness around like confetti.  Everyone can use and give a little kindness.

My lovely pink agate necklace is made by the talented Adam Rabbit, you can find her amazing creations on Etsy at the link below and similar necklaces at Bohemian Vibe Boutique also.

My necklace was from her mystery necklace sale a couple weeks back, she does have similar items and other unique hand made gem, quartz and crystal pieces you will love.  You can also find her pink agate necklaces at the link below for Bohemian Vibe Boutique or you can message her to special order one if you don't see any listed in the shop. The bracelet below is the item that proceeds are being donated this month for Breast Cancer Awareness in the memory of Emily Vasquez. I am trying to focus this post on the items that are available to purchase that proceeds will be donated to the cause.

(You can also see my Lokai Hero pink bracelet, link is below.)

Adam Rabbit Jewelry is also offering for a limited time a special on her amazing pink agate slice bangle bracelet for $15 and proceeds will be donated in the name of Emily Vasquez, one of her dear friends mom, donations will be sent to Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center to help women pay for medical treatments.  Amazing cause and in the memory of the mother of an inspiring and sweet woman, Stephanie.

*Look for the Rabbit graphic in her listings.

I have worked with Stephanie while working with the above boutique which I have featured previously here on my blog and social media.  In honor of her mother Emily Vasquez they will be donating 100% of the proceeds of the above gorgeous necklace in Emily's name to Banner MD Anderson.  The money will help with grants for women who cannot afford treatments that are not covered by insurance.  Let's try to help those in need and support one another in times like these.  My heart goes out to anyone and everyone who has battled with or have known someone who has had to battle with breast cancer, or any form of cancer for that matter.  I lost my father 14 years ago to Leukemia and I know losing a loved one is the hardest thing I have ever been through.  You can read more about her story on Instagram under both Adam Rabbit's listing and Bohemian Vibe Boutiques.  I will add their Instagram links below at the bottom of this post.

$24

Another great item to purchase with proceeds being donated to Susan G. Komen is this limited edition Lokai bracelet, only available for the month of October.  The Susan G. Komen foundation is an amazing foundation and these bracelets are a great reminder or symbol of strength and balance in life.

Lokai will donate to Susan G. Komen One Dollar ($1.00) for each Pink Bracelet sold between September 13th, 2015 and October 31st, 2015 with a minimum
contribution of $250,000.

Thank you all for taking a moment to pass by and read this, I hope everyone will take a moment to check out these amazing items and hopefully take part in purchasing an item to help fight this cause.  Bless you all, xoxo

** To clarify I truly mean what I wrote in the first paragraph, even those who have hurt me and done or said horrible things I have moved on and forgiven.  I have no room for hurt, anger, sadness, bitterness or hatred.  I have only love and kindness in my heart.  I wish the best for everyone and want to see everyone do good.  From the bottom of my heart. Kindness is always the best way and will always be stylish. You really never know what anyone is going through in life and when I was going through some truly hard times with my health and struggling I was kicked over and over again when I was down.  It was not easy but in the end it made me so much stronger.

Pink Wednesday with OPI Skyfall and Zoya Lara

I used opi you only live twice with a quick bow from reckon stencils. I used zoya Lara but wasn't dark enough. Probably going to do something different later but feeling a little under the weather.

Last night at boxing got sick to stomach and think I have a 24 hr virus. I got some cute tops at Marshall's today and almost got some opi and color club polishes but don't need any polishes right now. Excited cause my favorite beauty supply store is going me a few display stands and then said they would see how much the plastic wall ones they use for manicure station cost. I love A-Daz-L they are so friendly and always have what I want:).

Happy Wednesday almost the weekend!!

Pink Wednesday for Breast Cancer Awareness

I wanted to post these earlier but been super busy finishing up my final three wreaths for Halloween since it is approaching so quick. I will have photos to share tomorrow and hopefully will have them up for sale on my etsy shop no later then Friday:) they are pretty cool and I can't wait to share them. I will throw in a smell peak after my photos for pink Wednesday.

So today I ran to the beauty supply, wanted to hit ulta but they don't open till ten and I had errands to do do the beauty supply opens at 9. I go to a dazl beauty supply in pembroke pines and love it:). The staff is so friendly and the sales girl is always showing me photos of new stuff coming in and photos of polishes she has bought which helps me decide what colors to get. I grabbed two new polishes then had a couple I got last week. I went with these two shades cause I love the light pretty shade for the under coat then the Milani pink and silver sparkles is gorgeous:).

I already have my colors and planning to do a design next week. Last week before this all started I posted a photo of some pink ribbon nail tattoos my girlfriend gave me and everyone asked me where they can be found. I actually found some on an end cap full of pink ribbon and Breast cancer awareness goodies. They have stickers for your car, iron on shirt designs, bracelets, pendants, pins and the nail tattoos. They are only $2.00 and proceeds go to research for breast cancer.

I did a base coat of butter London nail foundation then two thick coats of OPI, In the spotlight pink. Once dry I applied two thin coats of Milani Pink Flare gorgeous sparkle polish. This is such a gorgeous top coat. I recommend both to everyone, the OPI color is super sheer and would be great for a French manicure as well. I did two thick coats cause I was covering with sparkles but if I wore it solo may have needed three or four coats to not see the nail line underneath.

Enjoy the photos and look forward to seeing what all the other ladies did for the first Wednesday. Have a great week, weekend is almost here. Goodnight

Meli~

Below is the sneak peek at one of my new wreath designs, I have this awesome candle opera style, haunted house looking tassel I had left over from last year when I made my wreaths that I am going to hang in the center then I have more black glitter roses.  I can't wait to finish it.  I also have another really cool one in the works.  I made my first Etsy sale, I am working out the details and on shipping cost but should be finalized tomorrow.  I am so excited.  I have been selling a lot of Halloween and Fall decor.  I can't wait to share my baked goods and photos of what I have done to my front porch and yard.  It is almost all done just have to put up the light up stuff this weekend.  Can't wait to show it all off=).  I love decorating and making crafts, baking etc it is my passion=).  It makes me feel very good cause I know I have a talent that I am really good at.

For more details on my items for sale you can visit my Etsy shop, storenvy, or contact me direct at dlitefulcreations@ymail.com.  I custom make wreaths also and I will work with any budget, I can make an amazing wreath for $40, and I can do them for even less just going to be smaller sized and less detail.  Everything I make I put time and a lot of love along with creativity, pride and quality.  You will not be disappointed.  I promise=).

Wednesday think pink

Mid week here and got some awesome polishes and nail tattoos from my friend. She said she thought of me cause I love nail polish when she saw these cut pink ribbon nail tattoos. With October days away it is almost breast cancer awareness month.

I have cupcake orders for my baking business for two boutique events and a ladies church group for pink ribbon decorated and themed yummy dliteful creation cupcakes. Why not do my nails in support of a great cause. My girlfriend is a big breast cancer supporter she does the walks, raises money and more. You can find these tattoos for your nails at beauty supply shops and michael's craft store is where she found mine.

The polishes I got today are Essie trophy wife then china glaze special breast cancer awareness line I got exquisite and there was another Essie I have to look at the name. I will update on here shortly.

I tried on all three polishes. Essie Trophy Wife is gorgeous and I love blue, turquoise and teal colors so much, that and purple or black/almost black colors are a huge part of my collection. I'm not big into crackle and I use to have a lot of matte polishes a couple of years ago but around winter last year that was out. Crazy how quick some things come back. Anyways I also don't like the magnetic polish that much either, it's cool but my thumb never looks as cool as the rest and being a bit of an OCD perfectionist kind of person it almost makes me feel anxious looking at it lol. It is fun like I said but for a day I couldn't wear that all week or a couple days. It's so weird I get bored with a polish quick. I have a few that I wear for five days maybe six, with my toes I wear same the color for two weeks unless I have a special event or occasion then I will change them to match or coordinate with my dress or outfit. I am big into coordinating my wardrobe, accessories and nails. Ido like everything to be matched perfect just coordinated nicely.

Okay wandered off subject for a minute it's late and raining, I'm enjoying sitting on my back patio writing this. The Essie Trophy wife is a gorgeous color, has a nice shimmer to it and applied nicely with two coats. I won't be wearing it yet on my hands but it is in line for soon. Lol.

I painted the china glaze pink with a gorgeous almost iridescent pretty glimmer almost sparkle to it. I like pink it took me years to warm up to it cause being a rock girl and when I was younger big into punk, heavy metal, rock and underground local music I always have had a passion for dark everything. I wore red, purple and blue but in dark vamp shades. For a brief period I was going for manicure and pedicure every two weeks and would do a French or American maybe red for Christmas and green for st party's fat. Pink was never a must have or favorite. Now that I have two daughters I have begun to enjoy the pink a lot more. This china glaze is a keeper.

I did two costs, second coat was thick of the China Glaze then I added the nail tattoo. Was simple just like a fake body tattoo apply with a damp cloth, pressure for a few minutes, slowly peel off the back and there it is! Your pink ribbon. I stress slowly peeling off cause first one i saw the edge was stuck down so peeled off and some tore off. Be slow and take your time. It is so small I used a q-tip with water and pushed it down with that for 2-3 minutes give or take.

I always finish off with my Posche or Out The Door quick dry, today it was a coat of Posche since I just got a new bottle:). I think it came out super pretty. I will rock this for sure come October in support of breast cancer awareness month. Enjoy everyone and I got my Birchbox today will share my thought on my second box and this time I changed up my profile so I got betters things that I use and like;). Even got a color club nail polish. Everyone already got their's this month mine was lost so I just got it. Thinking of joining another one I saw tonight, I love the box subscription it's like getting a present every month:). Come on girls we all know we love presents. Girly stuff at that. I think it's the best:). Have a great evening, I am in the best mood I have been in over a week, feeling great and things are going really good. I am so happy more people have started following me and both my stores are doing great. I opened an etsy shop I had one for my jewelry but was over the prices. I decided with my crafts and decor items I would try store envy I just don't see the traffic like I got on etsy. More people are familiar with etsy. Store envy is great I love it and no posting fees or percentage of sales taken off. In one day I posted only four wreaths and I have jewelry, wreaths, decor and candles on storenvy, today only my four wreaths got more likes, shares and views then all my stuff on storenvy. Check out my shops and let me know what you think. Www.dlitefulcr8tion.storenvy.com and www.etsy.com/dlitefulcr8tions. Have 10% off till oct 15. Thank you everyone
