Birchbox June 2013 box review

Yesterday I received my Birchbox for June and below are the items included.

Color Club Wanderlust Collection/ full size retails for $8.00. I love nail polish and have to say this is my favorite color I have received from Birchbox:). It is similar to the color I got from Ipsy last month but Ipsy sent the Zoya. The color is called London Calling and is a gorgeous pastel mint green. The Birchbox card says, exclusive neon pastel shades inspired by four of their favorite cities. I would love to see the other shades going to have to google search. It also says two coats will give you an opaque glossy finish:).

Juicy Couture, Couture La La/ full size retails for $19-90. Love Juicy Couture but some of their scents are stronger then I prefer. This one isn't too strong my favorite is the Fleur scent. Birchbox describes it as a heady mix of mandarin, red currant, lily, and orange blossom. One spritz on each wrist will suffice for sure:).

Kerastase Fondant Chroma Captive-Treat/Full size retails for $41. Thanks to ionic technology, this ultra moisturizing conditioner locks in color. Says to massage a quarter sized amount into hair then rinse out after 2-3 minutes. Will try this and review soon. I will take it on vacation with me I usually save all this sample travel sizes for vacations:).

Mirenesse Glossy Kiss Lipstick/Full size retails for $26.55. This user friendly pencil is a good proof way to score high impact lips. Says to layer on for a glossy look or blot for a pretty matte stain. I received 7 Quick Kiss. I tried it and thought it was too bright for me but actually loved the color. Goes on amazing and looks great:).

The Laundress Wash and Stain bar/Fill size retails for $6. A savior for those times when white shirts meet deliciously drippy food truck grub. Says to toss in your travel kit. Run on small stains then was as usual. I have used similar items and they are a life savior for sure especially when you have small kids. My youngest is always getting stuff on her and I. Will be carrying and will keep you posted when I use it, which I'm sure will be soon.

I also got some cute post cards for summer traveling. I can't wait to head to North Carolina next week and hope to use all this.

So far my favorite item I have used is the Josie Maran Aragon oil and Miss Jessie soft curls they both are items I use daily now. A lot of my past items will be used on my vacation so will have lots of reviews when I return. Last summer I tried the Wen hair system on vacation and loved it. Made my hair so soft and manageable while we were traveling.

My something blue, Vox box from influenster:).

Today my first Vox box came from influenster:). It is called, Something Blue, for brides to be, bridal party and guests to weddings:). I am going to a wedding in a few weeks and excited to use these items to review for my blog.

Inside the box: Luster NOW! Instant whitening toothpaste, retails for $7.99. Enjoy instantly whiter teeth with Lister NOW! Instant whitening toothpaste. It's propriety Bluverite technology creates the optical effect of instantly whiter teeth, with results that last for hours. I can't wait to try this. I have used crest whitening strips in the past and love them, interested to see how this product works, everyone wants whiter teeth:).

Q-TIP'S Precision Tips, retails for $2.59-$3.35. Made with pointed tips at both ends and 100% pure cotton, precision tip Q-tips cotton swabs are ideal for touching up eye liner, precisely applying concealer and perfecting manicures like a pro, I will use these for sure! I love q-tips and these ones look like they will work perfect for touching up my nails and cleaning up after painting, along with touching up eye liner:).

Dr. Scholl's for her ball of foot cushions, retails for $6.99. Dr. Scholl's for Her ball of foot cushions are engineered to prevent ball of foot pain in any women's shoes, so you don't have to sacrifice fashion for comfort. Their unique gel provides cushioning and absorbs shock, and slim design prevents feet from sliding forward and helps you avoid toe crunch. I have some of these and love them:). When I use to wait tables I wore these and have to say I always hated how when I would wear my high heels how my feet would slide in and my toes would end up crunched up, these totally help with this and I highly recommend them:).

Urgent RX fast powders, retails for $1.39. UrgentRx fast powders credit card sized packets of fast acting flavored powder medication. No water. No waiting, just right now relief. I use to use the goody's headache powder when I was younger and didn't like to swallow pills. They always worked faster and amazing, will be carrying this in my bag and when I use it will be reviewing for sure:).

Kiss everEZlashes, retails for $4.98 for a duo pack. Kiss ever Ez lashes with Kiss applicator allows for perfect application every time. Coming in a variety of styles that are perfect for every day wear or formal evening events. These are a must have for bridesmaids and of course the bride! I have used these before and they are easy to apply. It has been awhile but will be wearing them on vacation and to the wedding:). Also hosting an event I am planning for some guests from out of town in August, that I have planned their event:). Photos and reviews to come.

My Trio Rings, cost vary. A trio wedding ring set ensures that your commitment looks just as perfect as it feels:). The MyTrio set comprises both the engagement ring and wedding band for the bride as well as a matching ring for the groom. It's a timeless way to signify your love and commitment. They sent a pamphlet with photos and they look very nice. I have my rings already do don't need any but it is a super cute idea and they look great:).

Excited for vacation

Looking forward to our family vacation. This summer we are returning to the amazing Smoky Mountains:). Last summer we went to Tennessee and stayed in Pigeon Forge area, we had such an amazing time that when we started talking about this years summer vacation first place I told hubby was I wanted to go back to the mountains. Since we did Tennessee last year I decided I wanted to go to NC, originally last year I had been looking at NC. We ended up deciding on TN because my girls wanted to go to Dollywood and we loved it in Tennessee. I loved it so much wanted to move there but my hubby loves his job here so looks like for now we will be here in south Florida:).

North Carolina is gorgeous, I love the mountains, long winding roads, small town living and more. We are renting a cabin, it is the best way to go when visiting the mountains. We usually stay in hotels when we travel but the cabin is the best when going to the mountains. When we went to Tennessee we rented a cabin and it is worth every dime. I spent weeks looking for the perfect cabin. It is so hard to decide because they all look amazing online. After weeks of searching I came across the place we are staying and after reading the description I was sold:). It has amazing views from the wrap around porches and the huge windows in the main loving area:). Can't wait to sit on the porch at night taking in the mountain air. There will be a lot of photos coming soon. Looking forward to taking tons of photos of the views and mountains while we are there.

Planning to do the Smoky Mountain railroad while we are there and lots of hiking to the amazing waterfalls. I love going there because the Smoky Mountain National Park is amazing, it is huge and has tons of hiking trails to adventure on. Have any of my readers ever been to amazing Smoky Mountains? How about Bryson City, NC? I would love to hear suggestions of things to do and places to visit.

Real Housewives of Orange County, Heather's striped top

Last night on the Real Housewives of Orange County Heather Dubrow was seen wearing a cute navy and white striped top when heading to Mexico for Tamra's bachelorette party. As soon as I saw this I knew who made it, I love this top and even own a similar one I found at Marshall's for 12.99. This top Heather is wearing is made by Theory. I am also posting a photo of the similar top I own from Marshall's because it hasn't been long since I found it. I love stripes and this top is a piece that is fabulous for the summer, I love white denim right now and this would be so cute with white shorts, cropped white jeans or even skinny jeans for the summer.

The other photo is of my shirt I found at Marshall's I believe it was $9.99-12.99 and is made by Thyme and Honey. My shirt is solid navy on back, with navy and white stripe front, has a collar and pocket. Fits good and has a flowing bottom that can be worn untucked or tucked in. Love it and as soon as I saw Heather's top I thought of mine because I just got it in the passed month. I love stripes and love classic white and navy.

Real Housewives of New Jersey fashion, Melissa Gorga's LV monogram Arrow purse

On Sunday's premiere of the Real housewives of New Jersey we saw Melissa Gorga with another fabulous LV purse when she was meeting Theresa for the play date between Antonia and Milania. I looked around online and believe she is carrying the LV monogram Arrow bag. I don't know 100% for sure but from what I saw and after looking at several bags this one appears to be the same one. Let me know what you think:). She sure does love her LV bags.

Tamra Barney's Michael Kors Hamilton

Last night when the ladies of the Real Housewives of Orange County were departing for Mexico, for Tamra Barney's bachelorette party there were a lot of cute clothes and accessories. The first one I will be covering is Tamra's MK Hamilton.

If you have followed my blog before you know I love the Hamilton bags. I have a orange Hamilton myself, but not the ostrich. I love this bag:). I love Tamra's choices this year, she has amazing taste. I love everything she has been wearing. Not to mention it is a lot more affordable then a lot of the items I have found.

Michael Kors Hamilton purse comes in two sizes the east/west and then the larger north/south, you can also find it with silver or gold hardware, I have seen a few with rose gold. I think this is a timeless bag, it will match with so many items in your closet and is great for casual or black tie. They retail for 348-398. You can also find the outlet version of this bag which is same bag without the lock and key, has a Michael Kors plaque instead. Also be sure to keep an eye out at TJ Maxx, Marshall's, nordstroms and saks outlets. I found my Hamilton in Orange at Marshall's and I have seen these ostrich bags there too:). At Marshall's they're priced from 199-229. Great price for an amazing, high quality and versatile purse.

Cute Miami Heat blinged out T-shirt from TJ Maxx

I found this adorable gray with red capped sleeves Miami heat tee recently on sale at TJ Maxx, has blinged out logo and my daughter loves it. Prices of tees are going up now that the final games are going to be starting.

I also found some other cute tops available and tomorrow will be posting some DIY tanks, tees and dresses I had ideas for:). Enjoy the photos of the tee I found my daughter, just happened to be at TJ Maxx one morning and found it in clearance section, couldn't pass it up especially cause other then jerseys she has a plain tee no girly ones. This was worth the 5.99 I paid for sure.

Go Heat! Hope they take it all:).

Red Celine purse carried by Theresa on RHONJ

Last night on the Real housewives of New Jersey we saw some adorable boots that the ladies wore and some cute sweaters, luckily sweater season is over here, but one thing that will always be in style or season, a hot Celine purse:). Theresa met Melissa for a play date between their super cute and trendy little girls, both ladies looked amazing but Theresa had the hottest bag, lol. These two ladies seem to always be competing with each other, if it isn't their homes, careers, children, cars, or fashion, always something. Theresa really did nothing for me with her fur coat, I am not a fan of fur and that coat looked like a puppet costume.

However her purse was amazing, I have been eyeing these super cute Celine bags for awhile and since I don't have the unlimited budgets these ladies have I would have to probably go after an inspired by bag. I saw a couple when looking for this one on ioffer, eBay and even a couple bags that looked a lot like this one. Super cute bag Theresa.

Other cute fashion items that stood out were the boots I posted last night from Burberry, Melissa Gorga's cute evil eye necklace, and even a couple of cute sweaters. I am going to not write about the sweaters since it is summer now unless someone has a specific request on one, then of course I will research for you but for now this bag and the cute boots were my favorite.
