Treat for myself, orange Michael Kors wallet

Every two weeks I like to treat myself to a little something. Usually I get shoes, accessories, a purse, or something I have found for my house. This week I got a tangerine orange Michael Kors wallet from discount store:). Was originally 160 and got it for 80 super excited. I saw it a couple days before payday and had to put it somewhere in the store then kept fingers crossed it would be there when I went back. It was last one and it was meant to be because it was same color as my new purse plus had gold hardware then price was perfect. I absolutely love it.

I am still waiting for my Tory Burch online purchases to arrive should be here this week sometime. Also got my shams from Pottery Barn, going to order duvet cover and waiting for my bed still. Checked online last night still have 2-3 weeks before it ships. Can't wait to receive it. Next payday going to get my curtains then start getting everything ready for my new bed.

Limited edition Birchbox for the home

Birchbox sent me an email letting me know that for April they have a limited edition Birchbox for The Home titled from the Garden. It is $32 and retails for $89. I am thinking about ordering it. I love gardening and it always reminds me of my dad when I get a chance to garden or do yard work. Anything that reminds me of my dad makes me happy.

Let me know if anyone else ordered this box. I haven't gotten any of their limited edition boxes for the home. Will see and will post photos if I ordered this box. Enjoy photos:).

Ipsy April 2013 sneak peak pretty in pink bag

Ipsy bag is coming a little late this month. I also am still waiting on my Birchbox. I got a little anxious and then came across some spoilers I had to share for the April 2013. I received an email from Ipsy saying that the bag for April was not to their standard so I would receive two bags in may shipment.

I also came across a photo from Jessica Harlow's instagram with a peak at her Ipsy bag. Bag appears to e white or cream with pink trim. I also saw only four products this month but looks like a full size blush and nail polish. Also some sexy big hair products. Check out the peak photos and I will be posting photos as soon as mine arrives:). Also looking for some Birchbox spoilers for those who are not patient like myself lol. Fashionista review, Real Housewives of OC Tamra Barney

I'm a fan of the Real Housewives, believe it or not my husband started watching this show way before me.  I use to work nights at a jazz lounge and was never home to watch tv in the evenings.  When we got tivo years ago he would record the OC Housewives and when I was bored during the day I started to watch it.  Over the years I enjoy watching more for the fashion then anything, but it is also entertaining as well lol.

I watched the new episode and have to say I love the white capris that Gretchen wore and Tamara.  My favorite outfit was Tamara's for the Clam bake.  I love the bright coral top, paired with white skinny jeans and the Tory Burch gold jewelry.  The earrings are the Tory Burch circle logo drop earrings in gold.  The necklace is sold out on all the sites I looked up, but there are a lot of other cute options if you are looking for the same style or look.  Best places to find are the Tory Burch site or Nordstrom's also has a large selection.  I purchased the logo Tory Burch earrings in silver recently off Ebay which is also a great place to search for pieces that may be out of season or older.

UPDATE:  I found Tamara on EBay and she is selling the white jeans and Coral Bebe top now on ebay.  The jeans are not Hudson, I was wrong, they are in fact True Religion which also has similar pockets.  The top is by Bebe and I have not looked for it online but you can go to Bebe Coral top to see the one she has up for sale.  Also check out True Religion White Capri for the white capris she wore on the episode.  She has lots of other things for sale like Gretchen who also has a Ebay account.  Here are some photos from the listings of the items.  Enjoy=).

The jeans were a tough one to find, I love white jeans but it is hard to find ones that are not see thru.  A lot of times you can see the pockets from the front or underwear.  After a lot of research I narrowed it down to a couple then went to the sites and think I pin pointed the style.  They appear to be Hudson Jeans, the pockets match up.  They have skinny jeans and capris in this style and retail for around $150-180.  Below is a photo I got off google search of a scene from the housewives show when Tamara arrived at Gretchen's house to ride to the clam bake together.  Also I have included photos from Hudson jeans website of the white skinny capris, I am posting the back photo so you can see the pockets which look the same as the pockets on her jeans.  The Tory Burch photos I found one of the earrings on Tory Burch site and Nordstrom site.  The necklace I found on pinterest.com.  I updated recently that I found the top was made by Bebe and the jeans were not Hudson they were True Religion.  Tamara has an Ebay account I posted the links above in my update, you can click on the items and it will take you to her postings on Ebay=).  Hope that helps everyone.

Master bedroom luxury from Home Decorator's Collection

Since I am in the process of finally finishing redecorating my own master bedroom I have decided instead of rambling on about the same things, that I would show many options and some great places to go for ideas or inspiration.  I do interior design as a business, it started as a hobby and when I started party planning and baking I ended up having many customers who would come to my home and ask me if I did interior design.  I never thought I had any special talent just an eye for putting things together but it really is a huge passion of mine along with finding the best deals possible for every budget.

The next few days I will be posting similar furniture and accessories from many different stores then at the end I will show you some lower priced options along with great sites or stores to find amazing deals.  My master bedroom inspiration is Hollywood Glam.  It is a little shabby chic, french and hollywood glamour all combined this happens to me one of my favorite styles of design.  I love upholstered elegant headboards, with hotel luxury linens, mirrored frames, accent furniture, mercury glass accents, french antique dressers, tufted chairs and elegant florals.  Enjoy and make sure to check out the first website I am featuring, Home Decorator's Collection.  Working in interior design this is a place I have shopped many times, I use to work for Home Depot and that is when I discovered this company.  They have lots of options, great place to get ideas and you can special order items in different colors and fabric options which is great when you are looking for something hard to find.

This gorgeous white and silver accent pillow is $24 and I have seen similar ones at other big name stores for triple the amount, this is a gorgeous pillow and they have many to chose from.

This gray tufted velvet slipper chair is $229.  I like to have a chair in the bedroom for putting on shoes and for using at my vanity or when on the computer.

Above is a gorgeous linen gray, diamond tufted king size bed with nail head trim.  I love the diamond tufting.  Nail head trim really gives it that high end look and the wing back is super glamorous.  Retails for $1149

This gorgeous rug is gray and white.  Right now I love the chevron, trellis and moroccan influenced prints on rugs.  This rug is 5x7 and retails for $254.

Above is a great accent color when working with gray color scheme, this is a coral which is a pink orange color.  My master suite is gray with white and I am using a lot of turquoise/teal blue then a little coral.  This pillow is $54 and I just ordered two.

Last of all is bedding.  I love hotel influenced linens.  I love bold crisp white duvet cover with a accent of gray.  You can get many accents like black, blue, brown and many others.  I just happen to have gray in my room since my wall color and headboard is gray.  I then get euro shams, king shams and accent pillows to coordinate.  My euro shams for example have white and gray stripes, but then I have the matching king shams, then turquoise and white chevron pattern with the above coral accents and one smaller center pillow with all the colors.  Looks stunning.  This set retails for around $400 through Home Decorator's Collection, this is a great price for the duvet, shams and coordinating sheets.

Julep maven April 2013 It Girl box

Today I received my julep maven it girl box. I have been on the fence of canceling this monthly box, but I love nail polish and enjoy getting boxes in the mail:). I think that is why I shop online often lol.

This month is bright neon colors which I enjoy because right now I'm loving bright orange, yellow, pink, coral and blue. I am an It Girl and usually stick with my box, they are pretty on point with the survey and picking the colors I would enjoy the most. For April my little extra in my box was some rock candy in a bright blue. The packaging is always colorful and goes with their colors or trend for the month.

For April I got Eden which is a bright purple. I think this will be my favorite out of the three. I love purple, was a little disappointed at first because since being a Julep maven I have gotten dupes of Morgan which is also purple but deeper darker shade and also a yellow shade, don't know the name off hand, that I have two of and another yellow from Halloween time. That brings me to my second color, Abbie which is yellow. Interested to compare to the two other yellows they have sent me, I hope this one is brighter. Last up is Mackenzie and this shade is a shimmery bright green. The shimmer looks green just a shade darker then the polish. I will post some swatches later this week I desperately need to remove my polish and freshen up my nails.

I would have liked a bright blue, saw a Dior shade I think I may pick up at Sephora on payday that is a gorgeous bright blue and glows under black light like blue neon. Love it:). Sorry for not going into great detail on this post trying to multi task but wanted to post a preview of the box for those who haven't received theirs yet and like to see what they have coming:).
