St. Patty's day green with gold accent nail

I was trying for a St. Patty's day look but this green is super dark. It's actually a emerald green and has a gorgeous sparkle to it but can't see in photos. Hoping tomorrow I can capture better in daylight, plus need to clean up around cuticles. For now here is a look at my first St. Patty's day inspired nails I will be trying another green by Zoya mid week:).

This is Butter London British Racing Green and OPI 18k gold Man with the Golden gun top coat on accent nail. I started the manicure with Butter London Nail Foundation base coat, my favorite base coat. Then I applied to thin coats of Butter London British Racing Green. This polish has a lot of pigment and one thick coat would achieve full opacity but I like to apply two thin coats this way I don't get lines when it is dry and dries fast between coats.

Next up I applied two coats of the OPI 18k too coat, Man with the Golden Gun. Love this top coat, my favorite gold too coat. Has large pieces and isn't hard to get nice coverage don't have to fish for pieces. I finished of with Out The Door quick dry top coat. Another favorite of mine:). Dries in minutes and looks shiny. Love it.

Again I love this color but darker the. I wanted. Gorgeous deep emerald green with a nice sparkle when you move your hand around in the light. Will post more pictures tomorrow in daylight.

Happy weekend:).

Zoya Blaze, my favorite red for holidays

I haven't posted all week and have wanted to but had a cold Sunday and then Tuesday got a migraine had to go to dr for a shot then yesterday was faint headache all day and today woke up with migraine, nausea and dizziness. Was so upset cause I had an appointment to get my hair done and makeup then family photos had to cancel everything to go to doctor around one after six to seven hours feeling like death:(. Was hard to cancel but can reschedule for next week needed to put my health first.

Last night I painted my toe nails and finger nails for the pictures, was waiting for family photos to use the Zoya Blaze. This is my favorite from the Zoya ornate collection, I also love aurora and storm. This is a gorgeous bright but deep tone red with lots of sparkle. Glitter is silver, iridescent and purple looking when you move in light. I did a base coat on nails with Butter London nail foundation. Next I followed with two costs of Zoya Blaze and finished with Out The Door top coat. Toe nails did same thing:).

Love this red color for the holidays. Also out of all my Zoya polishes this collection seems to last a lot longer. Usually Zoya polish chips quick no matter what base or top coat I use but I painted the aurora purple from the Ornate collection and it lasted almost two weeks:). I recommend this color and line to everyone. If you are looking for a pretty red for the holidays try Zoya Blaze from their Ornate Collection it is gorgeous:).

Zoya Jade

Got home from kickboxing tonight and wanted to try one of my new zoya shades. Went with the sparkly red Zoya Jade. I didn't clean up any polish on sides or cuticles yet was a quick application cause I am beat, so glad tomorrow starts my weekend and my oldest daughter will be 13 on Sunday:). Feel like I'm getting old lol.

I applied one coat of Butter London nail foundation base coat, then two coats of Zoya Jade and finished off with a coat of Poshe quick dry, shiny top coat that doesn't yellow! Love Poshe and love me some Zoya. This color is gorgeous I need to start using my new 3in1 lense for iPhone or my camera. I can't capture the true beauty and shimmer to a lot of polishes. I want to sample the martini polish my daughter got in her Ipsy Beauty bag I subscribed to for her for her birthday.

Also canceling my julep maven box I think after December. Just not impressed with product, what you get for cost and customer service. I think if it was $10 for two polishes maybe but $20 is too much for a polish I don't use really. Chips right away usually, colors are super thick and I don't care for the brush.

Anyways this Zoya polish is super pretty and can't wait to use it with my green for the holidays I have Ivanna and it has same sparkle and will look good together for Christmas. I also when I have time want to do candy cane stripes:). Maybe this weekend after I finish a long weekend of decorating and celebrating my oldest daughter's special birthday:).  Tomorrow I plan to pass by Ulta to get Zoya Blaze and Zoya Aurora from the ornate collection.  These were on my list to get today but my usual supply store was out of these two colors so I only got the Zoya Storm from the Ornate collection.  I was also tempted to pick up an OPI gray from the German Collection and I was looking at the China Glaze Cirque collection but none of them really stood out to me from the swatches they had in the store or from the bottle appearance, going to look around online for swatches on blogs, those usually help me decide which colors I like.  I also plan to order some England colors and want to get some more The Hits colors.  Will post tomorrow what I decided to get=)

Hope everyone has a great Wednesday and happy thanksgiving, I'm sure I will post before then. Xoxo

Material Girl Phantom Nail Polish

I was shopping at TJ Maxx and grabbed 3 of the Material Girl nail polishes. The bottles look just like Butter London so figured I had to try them cause I love Butter London polishes.

They were only $2.99 a bottle and out of the three I got I swatched Phantom tonight with some other polishes I grabbed while there. Let me tell you they had a huge selection from many designer brands but honestly I have so many polishes right now I am holding out for must haves only.

Phantom is black with gold and orange sparkles in it. It went on smooth and was very nice consistency. I applied two coats over Butter London nail foundation base coat. I love it and it's amazing quality definitely compares to Butter London and OPI.

I followed the polish with my all time favorite top coat Poshe. If you haven't tried this top coat and are a loyal Seche fan please try this out. I have some mini bottles to giveaway in upcoming giveaways. It literally dries super fast, great coverage, no shrinkage like Seche and is not super thick like Seche. It makes my nails last long and look super shiny. I don't have much time to paint my nails yet alone wait for them to dry with two kids and a lot of things going on non stop. Highly recommend this top coat also love Out The Door too:).

Enjoy the photos and if you go to TJ Maxx look for Material Girl polishes they are worth $2.99 for sure best priced best quality polish for price I have seen.
