Halloween Ghost DIY

Halloween craft for you guys and it’s beginner level, and very affordable. The high end store charges $100 plus for this size I had puck lights and twinkle lights (haven’t decided which to use) queen size sheet, purchased 2 cages $2 each at Walmart the styrofoam ball was $14 I had one I got for a floral arrangement had a lot of holes but you can’t see. Then I got the felt with adhesive back I cut out construction paper first for sizing and placemats the pool noodle I had but they are $1 at five below right now. End of summer sales. I hope to have the noodle look like arms to glue the trick or treat bag or pimokin. in place:

I just bent the 3 end of the metal cage and I used the foam ball to pierce through and hold in place; the sheet fit perfectly and then add eyes. Again the noodles we will see will post by end of week. I’m also recreating the Ms Gus pillow as well, got a mushroom Sherpa pillow with a Sherpa plush blanket; felt eyes and not sure my do the girl one with lashes and bow or my own version. Photos of diy ghost # 1

Supplies purchased for this ghost at Walmart, the tomato cages on clearance $2 they had a few sizes and a plastic one also. Styrofoam ball was $14 but you can use a bowl they have $1.25 at dollar tree I had a floral arrangement ball lighter foam and absorbs water but it worked holes and all. Then queen white or off white sheet, flat sheet works best, black felt for eyes and bow, or accents, I have a bag and pumpkin for 2 to hold will name soon; I also have lights I had string lights from a passed collab and puck lights leftover so going to light up for sure.

I think they will go on the front porch when October gets here and maybe inside by the mudroom or entry for content; the noodle is hopefully going to look like arms

It turned out so good I was happy I planned to make two now I want more,  maybe make a team

The bat from my bats I hang on the walls was perfect had one on the drawer I forgot to take down and didn’t went to find the bin lol. I’m excited for Halloween have some very cute decor and ideas.

Stay tuned I’m making the Ms Gus pillow I think or maybe holding something else or pumpkin? Can’t decide but for a mudroom shaped white Sherpa pillow for $4 on sale and then a white Sherpa or plush throw $5 on sale use the felt for eyes and it’s good to go. It’s ghosts, skeletons and witches excited. Have fun ideas usually have the ideas but with menopause was struggling with my anxiety since getting good drs I’m feeling more myself and at peace truly, meditation works womders and self care me time.   Sorry for the of subject but excited to be planning and getting all my Halloween/ Christmas together all while finishing my projects and starting Paityn’s room.

I love her,

Can’t wait to share the other one and how he came out. May make one a little shorter right now both same size. I love how they came out and easy to make beginner level for sure: you can also buy the styrofoam’s and hang them from a tree or the house I just like to stand. You can use a planter or something taller with a round top for head. I would love to see some if you saw my blog post and make please tag me @cr8tivewanderlist on IG, Pinterest, fb and TikTok

the Loomia Tent sale

The The Loomia LTK 🔗 is a small business that carries the most amazing selection and styles of Turkish towels, throws and more. I love their textiles in our home, love the details of the fringe, braiding and then texture of the Turkish cotton, they have a lot of neutrals and patterns or simple styles, then you will also find some pops of colors, throw blankets and more decor accents. If you are looking for a great house warning gift, entertaining gift, wedding, bachelorette etc, I love even for teachers gifts, you can never go wrong with nice linens for the table, kitchen and bathroom. I use my throw outdoors during the summer for keeping warm on a cool but humid summer night. For me I love bohemian and unique styles so all the unique details; textures, braiding, fringe and unique to simple patterns. They also dry very fast, my hubby didn’t like the lighter weight style of the Turkish towel until he used them a few times and saw how quickly they dry. I love to use as a wrap or sarong at the beach and the towel. Thrown blanket, I hang it here but use outback or front in the evening to watch sunset or launches, we are very close to the space coast NASA Florida

Love it in our bathroom going from beachy to bohemian coastal. Excited to show my ideas soon when they come to life. Slowly after 6 years in this home making some changes. Manifesting lol.

Kitchen looks so nice with these gorgeous Turkish detailed fringe braided trim and love the black white contrast. The cream, black, gray, taupe and browns make me so happy lately. Love me some color always but since my hair has gotten light and natural from mermaid or rainbow now I’m ready for blonde and brown simple. I’m in my calm natural era all the way.

Living room paint refresh

Wow it’s July where has the summer gone? Hope y’all are having a great summer. I love summer it is my fave because I love when school is out and we have no routine we can have more fun days. Love the sunshine just mentally makes you feel so much happier and better. Now that my girls are older no more crazy schedules my youngest starts college but she is staying close, I feel blessed. It was hard when my oldest when away and she was only 4.5 hours away. Today I wanted to come in and share one of my new fave pieces for the house, also I have don’t a lot of updates. Back before Thanksgiving I was sent a new rug and went more neutral. Loved it so when we did the diy project installing the stacked dry stone fireplace it need ready to make the move.

I love color if you have followed me awhile I had a different color front door and loved a good moody or bold color for decades now but also have always loved my lighter neutrals and tones. Bohemian style is my closest if we do with a design style I love dried florals, fresh flowers, plants, pottery, sun, lanterns, mixed metals, textures, baskets, layering, I just truly needed to make the move and when I want color I can add new pillows or a rug. Our new color is Benjamin Moore Pale Oak

If you are thinking about going from home color or moody to a lighter tone but don’t want white or cream, this color is so good have styled with gray and blue then brown my sofa is dark gray’s kitchen is dark charcoal stained wood the fireplace is a greige tone for sure. It’s fun to change the space it feels larger and an entire new vibe in here. Love it! I will have more changes next week and my fave towels on huge sale. Be sure to check out my TikTokc IG and Pinterest then  always add new items to LTK. Have a great night and hope you like my loving kitchen area refresh part 1.

Peace, love and light always -Melissa xoxo

Red white and blue decor

It’s almost July 4th! Where has the summer gone already? Are you a lover of Independence Day? We love the fireworks, grilling and festivities as well as being proud of our county, below are some ideas and decor inspiration for anyone looking to add some inexpensive and fun decor to their home to celebrate our country and freedom,

I love to decorate the yard, front porch, door, entryway, kitchen area and dining table. Simple things like inexpensive flag decor, items you have on hand already in red white or blue. I use items I have for Christmas even I had lots of red stars and glittery ornaments from Christmas, and then I even make some stuff myself.

If you want to shop my table decor or entry decor head over to my LTK page below.
